Designed to accommodate 3 families, or 6 adults and 6 children (excluding baby, cot if necessary), this villa with atypical architecture is located 30 minutes walk from the Pont du Gard (average for adults).
Very spacious rooms and 6000m² wooded park. Private pool, it smells like summer!
Very Kids friendly access to equipment, do not hesitate to ask according to your needs (baby cook, travel cot, high chair, swim ring).
Composed of 3 parental bedrooms (3 double beds) and 2 dormitory bedrooms (3 single beds x 2, or 6 single beds in all).
3 bathrooms with 3 toilets, a large living room, a kitchen, a games room (wooden games, board games).

Outside: 2 terraces with plancha garden furniture, large 6000 m² lot with trees, large 5mx12m swimming pool, pétanque area, access to the Gardon river 100 meters away.
Exposure of the house: facing south (360 ° plot).
The region is very touristy, Pont du Gard, Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon, Orange, Arles etc.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the house. Enough space for everyone, we were really happy with the fence around the swimming pool for the two young kids. Yann was quick in his communication and when there was a water leakage, he was there in a few minutes. Overall we would really go back in the future!

Excellent week with the family

We (me, my wife and two young sons) stayed here for a week with our brother and sister with their two boys. The house is has exceptional entertainment for children, not only a fantastic playroom, but a enchanting and exciting Bamboo maze through the back garden and rear fields to the river behind the house. The house has a a large kitchen, perfect for cooking family meals and 2 fridges which is ideal when in the hot summer months you need to keep most food and drink chilled! The swimming pool is excellent and was the source of hours of fun for all of us. The host is most helpful and communication was brilliant. This place is amazing for a family holiday and I would highly recommend!

At a walk's distance from Pont-du-Gard - amazing!

We passed a super holiday at Yann's manor house, a very spaceful and with much love decorated place. We loved the direct access to Gardon river via a little "jungle path" starting at our garden. We enjoyed the days "at home" around pool and under the shadowy trees behind the house and we had great trips to Avignon, Uzès, Nîmes and even Orange and Les-Baux-en-Provence as well as to the 55 minutes distant Mediteranean sea at Le-Grau-du-Roi. But our highlight was Pont-du-Gard at night that we reached after a 15 minutes' walk. And for the mosquitos: Buy the french lotion at the pharmacy in Remoulins and they leave you in peace :-). Thanks bunches to Yann and his wife for the fantastic holiday in Castillon!

The villa is spacious and well equiped. The double fridge came in very handy. The pool is amazing, with an undeep part for the little ones. There is a fence with two childproof locks (necessary because or 5-year old already hacked the first lock in 5 minutes). We also spent several hours on the little private beach at the river.There is a lot to visit in the region: uzes, nimes, orange, pont du gard (take the car, walking along the river is difficult). We also visited the coast (le grau-du -Roi). We kayaked on the river and went accrobranching in parc perfume adventure.Just be aware there are a lot of mosquitos in the region, and thus also around the house. Make sure to bring anti-mosquito lotion. We also bought a mosquito-tent to sleep in. It was very warm in the house when we arrived (it was 42C the day before). There is no airco, But each room is equipped with an efficient fan. By the end of our stay, the temperature in the house was ok (we had beatiful weather above 30C each day).

La maison est parfaite, bien équipée et les extérieurs géniaux. La piscine sécurisé par un portillon est top lorsque nous sommes nombreux et la partie plage très appréciable pour les petits. Proche de toutes commodites et des sites touristiques. Mais en temps de grosse chaleur comme cela a été notre cas en août . ( et nous le savions en louant la maison qu’elle n’était pas équipée ) que la climatisation a l’étage soit un plus. Mais sinon je recommande cette maison pour les séjour en famille ou entre amis avec enfants.

Le logement est très bien agencé, idéal pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis et sécurisé pour les enfants. La communication avec l’hôte a été très fluide et l’arrivée et le départ se sont faits très simplement…ce logement nous a permis de passer un très chouette moment de convivialité entre amies! Seul petit bémol: la propreté était perfectible!

Prima huis

Wij hebben een prima verblijf gehad, sommige dingen in het huis zijn wel verouderd (oven, wasmachine en douchegordijnen!) Omdat het iets minder warm was hebben we de airco niet gemist maar als het boven de 33 graden is wordt het toch wel warm in het huis. Het stikt er ook van de muggen helaas!! Huis en kamers ruim, in de keuken alles aanwezig behalve een waterkoker!

Très bonne adresse

Le séjour s'est parfaitement passé malgré une semaine à 36-38°. La maison se ventile bien avec les multiples ouvertures et la piscine très très agréable de bonne taille & profondeurs. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Super semaine à castillon

Nous avons passé une semaine tres agréable au gite la maison a cote du pont. Le jardin est bien ombrage et la maison tres agreable avec des grands espaces. Les 2 frigos à 12 etaient bienvenus et la piscine très sympa. Bref, a refaire! Merci encore a Gwen et Yann pour votre accueil!

Vacances d'une semaine entre amis avec enfants

La maison était vraiment super, pratique avec ses grands espaces et ses nombreuses chambres. L'extérieur est magnifique avec le coin piscine très bien agencé et l'espace repas détente. L'accès au Gardon à pieds est un vrai plus. La literie pourrait être un peu meilleure.

Je ne peux que conseiller ce gîte, les espaces sont magnifiques, la décoration est réalisée avec goût et la cheminée, accompagnée d'une bonne raclette était parfaite.

Bon séjour

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans le Gard, la maison est très bien située. La salle de jeux pour les enfants à été appréciée Yann notre hôte a toujours été à notre écoute. Je recommande.
