A large family kitchen/diner overlooking the garden, bifold doors lead onto a decked cushioned corner sofa seating area with BBQ. Parking available for 3 cars. Large enclosed garden with climbing frame, trampoline and stream to keep the little ones entertained.
Interaction with guests
We will be away from the property for 6 weeks over the summer, but will be contactable should you have any problems. Jayne our housekeeper will be available for local contact.
The neighbourhood
Putsborough is a classic surf beach on the North Devon coast and is surrounded by National Trust land with breathtaking views and numerous walks.
Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England. For the more adventurous there is kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.
Saunton beach and golf Course is 3 miles away with its 2 famous links courses. As well as other local beaches including Woolacombe, Saunton and Barricane perfect for a Sri Lankan curry on the beach.
There is also the South West Coast Path just a few minutes away. Coastal and Countryside walks include the cliff coastal path to Baggy Point, Woolacombe and beyond.
Explore the Exmoor National Park a short drive away. There are some local coastal villages including historic Clovelly, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more.
Getting around
Braunton and Barnstaple offer supermarkets and other amenities. There is extra parking in the village car park. There is a bus stop in the village for Croyde beach or Braunton.
