About this property

Capri Condominium for up to 6 people

The Capri is an Ocean Front building. You and your children and guests can walk directly to the beach from the building. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Our condo is located on the 15th floor and it has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the other bedroom has 2 twin beds, and 1 queen sleep sofa in the living room. A new 50-gallon water heater added in 2019 avoids cold showers. Kitchen was remodeled in 2011 to include Quartz counter tops and new Shaker cabinets were added in 2020. Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVP) was installed throughout condo , except bathrooms, in 2020.

Bathrooms were updated in December 2015 with tile shower and tile around tub.

The unit is equipped with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, 3 TVs and a DVD player. The Unit has cable TV and free HBO and free private WiFi.

Condo Association rules prohibit leases with individuals under the age of 25 and that individual must occupy the condo for the period of the lease.

Occupancy is limited to 6 people, including children. Smoking and pets are not allowed. There is 1 assigned parking space. There is a municipal lot within walking distance for additional parking.

There is a $75 fee payable to the Capri that is collected at check in. This is a parking fee plus it allows access to all the amenities of the Capri.

Guests should bring paper products, linens and towels, beach equipment, and personal items. There is a storage locker for beach equipment because beach equipment is not allowed on the elevators.

Beautiful view!

Condo was as pictured and had plenty of room for our family. Easy access with three continuous elevators. My only complaint would be the bathrooms could be cleaner, especially around the base of the toilet and baseboards. Overall, great stay and owners are super nice and answered any questions quickly.

Clean and beautiful decorated

From the beginning, the owner was fantastic with communicating with me. She made sure my questions were answered and went above and beyond with making recommendations. The condo was beautifully decorated with beach decor and was exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend this place.

Great Place

I loved staying here. The condo was very nice and so was the owner. My only complaints would be the shower head pressure was actually painful lol and the floor was really dirty. After walking around a little, our feet/socks would be black. I totally understand not being able to get rid of all the sand. The view of the ocean and bay from the balcony was really nice! I would stay here again!

So much better than the pictures!!!

Our family booked a last minute getaway and thankfully we found this gem. It’s been updated since the pictures so it looks so much nicer in person! We picked a time when it wasn’t crowded so it was like having our own private beach and pool (which was gorgeous). Beautiful LVP flooring throughout with a cute Beach vibe and was close to everything! Our only compliant was that we couldn’t stay longer! We will def. be back!

This is a nice property-can tell its older but it’s still decent. The condo was a nice space with adequate room for 6, appreciated the kitchen and 2 bathrooms! Cleanliness was 3.5/5: older building and unit - could use some updates but definitely works! Need own towels for showering/hand towels/beach and own sheets and I would recommend own blankets. Owner is very good at communicating! Great Condo amenities including indoor pool, game area with 1/2 court BB, ping pong table, pool table, gaming, tennis courts, exercise room and beach access which is really nice! Beautiful Huge Beach-spent most of our time there! Lots of options along island for restaurants/shopping!

Nice beachfront condo, great views!

Our family of four (parents with 2 teenagers) rented this for an extended holiday weekend (Labor Day 2022). The building is oceanfront, and the condo is ocean view with a balcony off the side of the building. The views are awesome, with an unobstructed view of the ocean to the right, bay to the left and strip down the center. You can enjoy the views from the porch/patio and from indoors as the entire exterior wall of living/dining/kitchen area is windows. The interior space is roomy, clean and nicely decorated. It can sleep six but is probably better suited for four. There is one on-site parking space. It appears that the beach could get crowded with all the condo buildings present, but that was not our experience. There was plenty of room on a major holiday weekend. We liked the location. The owner provided very clear instructions as to how to check in and what to bring. I texted with one or two questions and the owner responded with in minutes every time. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Perfect for Girls Trip

Had a lovely and relaxing girl’s weekend at this property! The condo was beautiful and right on the beach. Everything you could desire from dining to shopping and everything else, are all minutes away. I Would definitely recommend this property and rent again!!!

Didn’t Feel Like a Getaway

This review is broken down into three parts: 1) Booking 2) Accommodations 3) Property/Beach Booking: My wife and I have booked multiple stays through VRBO and this was by far the most laborious. Once we settled on this property and paid the deposit, we immediately received an email from the owner needing an additional payment to cover a local tax of some sort. This was annoying because it should have been included in the total price-not as a separate “fee.” The owner and VRBO need to sort this out. Once paid, it was then determined that an additional fee would be required by the property at check-in as a “guest fee.” Huh? Again, something that needs to be added into the total price of the booking. Lastly, the owner required a security deposit for the property which had to be mailed as a separate check to the owners home. (She doesn’t cash unless there is damage) This was five payment steps to rent a small condo for three nights. This doesn’t include an additional step of signing and mailing back a contract. By the end, I felt as if I needed to be compensated for the book keeping I did to rent this property. Accommodations: Pros-The property was nice. It was bright and airy with plenty of sunlight and decent furnishings. It has a decent partial view of the beach. Cons-You have to bring every linen including kitchen towels and bath mats. The kitchen seems to be an accumulation of random utensils, old pots and pans, and a coffee pot that makes “warm” coffee. The unit had several small notes taped to many places which had things like-“Dont put tampons down the toilet, “Don’t put sand down the garbage disposal”, Turn the A/C up to 80 when leaving” etc. Eventually I gave up reading these things because it felt more like I was housesitting then renting a place. The shower heads seemed low-flow and felt like dozens of thin, sharp streams of water that poked your skin. Lastly, the internet connection was poor. It worked about half the time and we had to reset the modem twice in three days. Previous reviews had eluded to this problem. 3) Property/Beach- Although we were up above 110th Street in Ocean City, it is still very crowded and noisy. The beach was packed four rows deep from the surf. It was very difficult to even get to the surf as almost each square foot is taken over by towels and umbrellas. Also, the property has only three elevators but policy states only one family per elevator.

Clean and convenient

Property was cleen and close to everything… only cons were the internet was very slow which in this day and age is unacceptable. The mattresses in each of the rooms was very very uncomfortable. Dont expect to get any sleep from that.

Really enjoyed this condo. So clean, bright and spacious. Rugs have been replaced with a new laminate floor. Very clean. Building is great too. No complaints. Would stay here again!

Short but Wonderful

This was our first experience with using a condo. Working with the owner was easy and she always answered questions quickly. The condo was clean and spacious for our family. The view was amazing. Loved going out on the balcony early in am to watch the ocean. Short walk to the beach. We had a great time.

Condo was lovely

The building is ocean front but the condo balcony is on the side so you get great views of the ocean and the bay. The building was clean and there was hand sanitizer spread throughout. They had appropriate covid signage up. My only issue was that it said it had a pool but the pool was closed due to covid. I was not informed prior to our arrival. The owner was very easy to work with.

Loved, loved, loved this condo!!

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Ocean City, and everyone in my party agreed. This condo is very, very clean, beautifully decorated, easy to get in and out of from the beach or from the parking lot, and has gorgeous views of the ocean and the bay. Mary Jean was so easy to work with and kept us informed of everything we needed to do. Once in the condo there were notes explaining exactly what was expected of us - not a thing was overlooked by her. This was our first stay in north Ocean City. We always thought it wouldn’t be the same experience being so far north, but found that it takes no time at all to get down to the inlet area, and we would love to stay here every year if possible. Loved the Bayside Skillet and Layton’s on 92nd for breakfast, and Lombardi’s for pizza or Italian food and Mother’s Cantina for a Mexican dinner.

Lovely property

Well considering we were there when the hurricane winds hit. It was nice. It’s just that it said ocean front. To me ocean front is the balcony directly in front of you, this was more of a side view. You could see the ocean, but not all of the beach where the ocean front would give you. But the condo was great and loved the pool.
