Excellent stay with the family. Roland and Becky are top notch hosts. Easy to communicate with. Roland went out of his way to help us. Highly recommended property. Very peaceful and beautiful location. A big thanks!
Beautiful location. Much needed nature and peace and quiet. House was comfortable overall, but wished it didn’t have carpets almost throughout. Just not a personal preference is all. River was too low to enjoy unfortunately. Becky was lovely and homemade cookies were a welcoming and yummy treat. Many trees for pups to enjoy.
We loved our visit to the Glass House Retreat! The home is well-stocked and very comfortable, the surroundings are gorgeous, and the hosts are beyond kind. We will be back!
Absolutely beautiful property, it was very peaceful. We loved the walking paths they looked like something you would find in a fairy garden! Our 3year old loved exploring there were big butterfly’s everywhere and fire flies . We fished from the deck and caught and released more fish than I can count. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the water. They have 2 beautiful dogs out there that came to visit us and sit with us in the morning. I loved the glass windows everywhere it made it where we could let our daughter explore and could still keep an eye on her. We will most definitely be returning
Home was ready early and let us know, all the amenities were there, if anything needed just a phone call away, very cool and secluded location easy check in and out.
Absolutely breathtaking! We even extended our stay because it is so perfect here. The hosts were so inviting and nice. We were also greeted by Reese’s and Gunner, their black labs. It is so serene and the water is constantly flowing. You can even fish from their deck.
The Glass House is amazing. Two whole walls of glass. The best Vrbo we have ever stayed in. It was completely stocked with everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the deck listening to the river. You can fish from the deck or go downstairs and fish off the bank. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and they left yummy homemade cookies. Two beautiful black labs Gunner and Reese will probably visit for belly rubs. You are only about 5 miles from town, but it feels like you are in the country. You won't be disappointed..
We arrived in the dark so was very helpful to have directions to rely on as GPS not always reliable in this area. The house was lit up & welcoming with logs in the fireplace & homemade cookies in the kitchen! Hosts were very gracious & responsive. Very quiet serene setting just miles from town but felt like we were getting away from it all.
This property was beyond our expectations. The home was spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. We came away relaxed and refreshed. Can’t wait to book again! The details the host added were a plus!
