The property was clean, comfortable and and family friendly. It was a very convenient walking distance to the main st, supermarkets, surrounds and Granite Island of Victor Harbor.
The local and surrounding golf courses were beautiful to play and the wineries were fabulous.

We were really happy with this little townhouse. It's old but for the price was great to be ocean view. Perfect for a weekend away with a smaller budget
The property is not fancy but very well apppointed, with great views across to Granite Island. We had everything that we needed. A queen size bed in the main bedroom would have been nice.

Good value unit walking distance into Victor Harbor precinct
Enjoyable stay in 2 bedroom unit, great views of Granite Island. Property better than expected, well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedrooms. BYO linen wasn't clear in the correspondence.

Very bad experience
We, Diana and Alan Dan, have rented an Apartment in Victor Harbor during this month from 01 to 31 October with LJ Hooker in Victor Harbor, South Australia.

We had the intention of having some holiday and rest while the renovations were starting on our new house, which we have bought in Goolwa, South Australia, this month, but it didn't happen.
The apartment looks like it never has been updated from the 60's. On the first day, we arrived at the apartment, we couldn't even relax sitting down on the sofas because they are so old. Our first night in the bed was really uncomfortable, bad smell of the mattress, no firmness, and not clean, we constantly rolled to the centre.
After a couple nights we woke up with a very bad back pain for sleeping on this decrepit mattress and we decided that it was better having all the dust and mess of a house in building works than to sleep again in this rented apartment. I have attached some photos.
As guests of HomeAway services, we feel upset and like fooled or deceived. We have lost our money in a holiday apartment which is not comfortable and we were not able to use the flat as we intended.
