We were please with the view Ava ease of check in. We were a bit further from Boone than we liked, but it was an easy drive and loved how centrally located to other places it was.

We appreciate your understanding about the distance to Boone—and we're delighted the location worked perfectly for exploring the surrounding attractions. Convenient location, however trees blocked the view and the king mattress was uncomfortable

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the convenient location. We're sorry to hear the king mattress wasn't comfortable for you. Regarding the view, we understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, tree trimming is subject to POA approval and decisions, so it is not something we are able to control. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the mountains!

Clean, nice looking location that includes a small, but nice balcony that overlooks a small forest. The one-mile drive to the property on Seven Devils Road is very steep with tight turns and I would not want to do that drive in icy weather, but we were there during the summer so it wasn't bad. The location has a air conditioner in the livingroom that works well but didn't quite reach our master bedroom so it was pretty warm in there. Everything else was fine, and we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us at Hawks Peak. We would love to have you visit with us again if you are visiting the High Country.
All was good. However the toilet seat in my 97 year old mother’s bathroom was broken-she managed.I called & left a message it was broken and one hairdryer did not work but did not get a response from mgmt.
My family (wife and three small kids) and I spent the weekend here and it was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet, and just enough room for my kids to play in their bedroom and in the living area. The check-in and check-out process was really easy. We went to Hawksnest Tubing Park and it was about a 5 minute drive from this place. We also drove to Blowing Rock and it took about 20 minutes, so not bad. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice little apartment for a getaway. Bit dated but certainly did not affect our stay with our kids. Brought back some old memories to see a tape deck again.
Well maintained and very clean apartment that is well nested and a close drive from everything you need.

Not bad for a last minute place!
Condo was in a great location with a great view. Air conditioner was not central area as indicated so bedrooms were hot but ceiling fans and small fans helped. Guest and living room mattresses were fair. Well stocked kitchen with new appliances. Guest toilet made a horrible noise after flushing. Condo would definitely be more comfortable in cooler weather!

This unit is comfortable, but if there are people staying in the top unit overhead, you will hear every footstep and conversation they have! Also, the "non-secure" wi-fi is really poor and loses connection every couple of hours. If you're hoping to check in to work or personal messages, this unit is not for you.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Hawks Peak 203 We are sorry there were issues with the wi-fi and loud guests above you. We hope you will stay with us again in the beautiful High Country of North Carolina.
The condo was very cozy. I loved that it had a well equipped kitchen although I didn’t get to use much of it this time I normally would appreciate all the extras. 4 wheel drive is a must if weather is bad though. We were very comfortable and had a great weekend. Woul definitely go back again!

Great location to Boone/Blowing Rock and Banner Elk/Beech Mountain
This is a very nice condo, close to a lot. Kitchen is stocked fully for any kind of cooking. King bed is comfortable. Twins are okay. Make noises when you move. As someone else mentioned in another review, the artificial plants just take up room. The views from the balcony are awesome. Very close to Hawksnest. Great little park about .25 miles from condo. We will rent this place again.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was the perfect weekend get-away for our family of 4. It is located a short 15 minute drive from the entrance to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Shopping and restaurants are plentiful in the area. We loved not having to navigate stairs when unpacking/packing our vehicle. The kitchen was well-stocked for any type of cooking/baking we decided to do.
The only ONE complaint is that sounds travel easily from the upstairs unit. It would be helpful for all renters/residents of the condo were more aware of the noise transmission levels and asked to be a bit more respectful of the up or downstairs neighbors.
We will definitely consider staying here again!
