Beautiful Mountain Views Near Hiking & Biking Trails + Foosball Table

Enjoy views of Pikes Peak from our backyard patio or front yard tree swing! Our ranch style layout features an open floor plan with finished basement including 4 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms.

Feel free to relax on the couch or oversized reclining chair and watch cable or stream your favorite movies on our 65” television in the basement. Rest easy in a large bedroom with a 50” TV in a private sitting area. Our basement master suite also features a king size bed along with a full bathroom in the basement.

Take your pick from our 3 inviting bedrooms and a full bathroom on the main floor. The main floor master bedroom offers a king size bed, walk-in closet and 50” wall mounted television. The other 2 rooms on the main floor each have a queen size bed. There are no bunk beds in our house.

A wood burning fireplace and reclining sectional that seats 4 adults comfortably in the living room. We have a 70” wall mounted television off the dining area next to the kitchen that creates a comfortable experience for everyone! There’s a Keurig & traditional coffee maker plus plenty of kitchen gadgets along with typical seasonings & condiments available for our guests. We have an XBox one with 2 controllers & 2 headsets. Our propane bbq grill & electric smoker are on the back patio - feel free to use anything you need during your stay!

Our favorite eateries like Salsa on the Rocks, Cleats Grill, Zapata Tacos and Narai Thai are all within walking distance. Safeway grocery store is 5 minutes away. Enjoy the abundance of hiking trails, parks & local attractions the west side of Colorado Springs is known for!

The property was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked for what we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The back yard looks cute but based on our itinerary we didnt get to enjoy it. We would stay there again.

Family Reunion

We stayed here while in town for a family reunion. Owners were very accommodating and hospitable. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked hamburgers on the propane grill. We would definitely want to stay again.

Our family of 8 stayed very comfortably, enjoying back patio, grill, & firepit. All kitchen amenities, beds, furniture were great. Only -* is bedroom floors over basement bedroom squeak. Probably hard to fix. Overall a nice home away from home.

Pleasant Stay

We came into town to watch the Air Force v Navy game and it was close to the AF Academy, less than 15 minutes away, which was perfect. Neighborhood was quiet and house came with plenty of amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to find seven deer on the front yard one afternoon. We enjoyed playing cards on the large dining table while watching the baseball game on the large screen tv. The reclining seats were comfortable too! Would definitely return for another visit.

Very nice house as described. The only negative we had was no central air. There are 2 window ACs and a few fans but they did not keep up with the 90+ temps.

Family visit to a new cadet

Clean, easy to access, great communication with host. Location was great for groceries, house had everything we needed for cooking and grilling our meals. We stayed in and cooked meals for our cadet to really relax. The setup with open kitchen, eating, and TV was perfect for a fall weekend together. Outdoor space was a little worn and tricky for older people to get around on, but deck table and chairs were fine to relax at. Nice area for walks and access to some trails within a bit of walking distance. Hosts were great to work with and answered all of my questions quickly. Was a great place for our family to stay and enjoy time together!

Spacious and convenient to USAFA

Nice big place with room to spread out, including a downstairs TV room and nice outdoor deck. We had some trouble figuring out how to make the TV in the master bedroom work so the property could benefit from an instruction manual (e.g., we had to ask about wi-fi and password after arriving). The only "miss" was that the hairdryer had disappeared without the hosts realizing, so we did not have one as promised. But the host was very responsive and easy to work with.

Comfortable place to stay and relax

We found the property to be just as listed on VBRO. The house was very comfortable to stay with plenty of space and comfortable furniture for our family (5 adults and one child). The property is located in a very nice/quiet neighborhood and reasonably close to all the attractions we wanted to visit (Manitou, North Pole, Cliff Dwellings, Cog train, Woodland Park, Eleven Mile Canyon, etc). Owner was easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly! The only negative we had was that the back yard was a little bit cluttered and could use some TLC.

Very comfortable & great communication

Our group of 8 loved this place! Beds and sheets were luxurious, the house and kitchen were very clean, and it was located within about 20 minutes of most attractions. We enjoyed watching the deer snack in the backyard and watching the storms come in over the mountains. We would definitely stay here again!
