The property was beautiful! A wonderful place to walk the dogs and enjoy the views. The cabin was well stocked and clean. Very quiet and private. Close to hiking trails. We hope to visit again in the winter and enjoy the snow.
I definitely didn’t want to leave! This pet friendly cabin is secluded in the mountains in our favorite area of Colorado. The owners were great to work with. We will keep this one on our list to stay at again!
What an outstanding find! This truly is a secluded cabin in the woods! Breathtaking views. Cabin is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked - even sharp knives (a rare find at a vrbo)! We loved our time here and will be back!!
Comfortable, tastefully decorated cabin in quiet, peaceful spot in the mountains. Nice views of the surrounding woodland and the Hermosa Cliffs. Convenient to several hikes beginning on Route 550/the San Juan Skyway between Durango and Silverton. We stayed here for 5 nights in late September. It was chilly outside but the foliage was beautiful. After an unusual 2 1/2 days of rain, we did a couple of spectacular hikes and also enjoyed a horseback ride at the Bears Ranch, about 15 minutes away. On the rainy days, we visited the mining heritage museum in Silverton and Chimney Rock National Monument east of Bayfield. The owner responded quickly to messages and was helpful when we met him coming down the road. The upstairs bedrooms were cool, as they do not have heaters, but when we got a fire going in the wood stove/fireplace downstairs, they warmed up.
Mountain house in a beautiful area close to Purgatory. Comfortable setup in house with three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Close to Durango for dinners. Nugget Bar is really close with decent food and a lively atmosphere.
The location was great. The cabin was perfect for us and our adult children, with 3 beds and 3 baths and a nice, well equipped kitchen. The setting was beautiful and we enjoyed the big front porch.
Beautiful cabin on beautiful land. Cabin was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a well equipoed, well organized kitchen. The covered porch is perfect for peacefully reading a book or just watching nature. Lots of excellent hiking trails nearby. I will very likely stay here again. My dog & I had a great time.
Everything was absolutely perfect and all expectations (which were set pretty high) met. The excellent covered porch, quiet solitude to enjoy nature, loads of firewood ready to use, walking trails and outstanding/thorough access and instructions made this the perfect vacation stay. Many "Thanks" to the owner (Sean) for thinking ahead to meet a clients needs and wants.
