Very calm and relaxing Cabin, bring a 4 wheel drive vehicle
We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and well kept. The Cabin is in a great area near local attractions. Our only issue was how high the angle of the road was going to the Cabin. Without a 4 wheel drive vehicle it was very hard to make it up the hill to get to the Cabin. Great area and nice cabin we'd love to come back we'll just remember to bring a car more capable of climbing the hill.
Cabin is small, has everything you need to cook bring your own food. We wanted more privacy in the jacuzzi and could see our neighbors in other cabins. Very convenient for white water rafting trips. River is close by and Bryson city is close and really old Town. I enjoyed the history of the area. Enjoyed the Train and the Smoky mountains
Very cozy little cabin. The road in a little tricky but we got the hang of it.. The manager was very accumulating and checked to see if we needed anything. The cabin size was perfect for 2 people. The only negative I would say was the couch was not comfortable and a bit dated... We will use them again for our next stay at bryson city..
My husband and I stayed a long weekend for his birthday. Everything was just as the listing described, and had everything we needed for a weekend of doing nothing. The hot tub was a wonderful addition as well.
Absolutely no internet dirty microwave hot tub smelled musty so we didn’t use it placed looked like it was furnished by big lot plus big cockroaches stay away from this place. Paid way to much for this place

Hi Bruce, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
"Thank you for providing us with feedback. Unfortunately, mother nature impacted your stay, and there were aspects of your trip that were beyond our control. There was a lightning strike and it impacted the Wifi and several TVs in various cabins. Our team scrambled to get everything back up and running, but time worked against us. When things like this happen, it's natural to become frustrated. We had the cabin evaluated for insects, and there isn't an issue. You may have gotten an unexpected visitor, which is common in nature. The hot tub gets carefully cleaned after each visit, and our staff has a checklist to complete; we couldn't detect any problems. Again, we are sorry for the impact of the storm and understand your frustration and how one problem can magnify perceptions. Thank you again for letting us know about your stay."
The cabin was situated in a great place and was very comfortable. The hot tub is fantastic and the property managers obviously keep up with the property as it was clean, well-stocked, and a breeze to check in and out of. There was also a handy book with lots of information about things to do in the surrounding areas.
We had an issue with the hot water heater on our second day (the heating element burnt out, which isn't preventable), but the staff was extremely responsive and the maintenance team got it fixed quickly. They also checked back with me to make sure things got fixed and were good. I highly recommend a stay in Nantahala Cabins!
