Lynn is great to work with! Easy check-in and check-out process. We had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. Great fishing off the shore and dock along with close spots in the boat. Plenty of restaurant options on the lake with some nights having live bands to enjoy the sunset too! Will definitely be coming back again for a 2 week stay!
This was our second time at the island. It is our favorite spot on Long Lake! Sunrises, sunsets, loons, eagles and almost always a nice breeze to sit on the deck and enjoy the views. Thanks for sharing your home with us Lynn and Scott! We can’t wait to come back next year!
Second time we stayed at this fabulous island getaway and we are so pleased
We disconnected from technology and reconnected as a family. Fishing, water activities, great restaurants and fabulous fireworks show on our last night to celebrate the 4th
The property is so tranquil, quiet, peaceful. But once you get off island there is plenty to do. The lake offers many options for food and drink all a boat ride away. The fishing is great even off the homes own dock. This home will become our families annual vacation spot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Lynn and Scott know the definition of hospitality. Thanks again Lynn and Scott

You are sincerely some of the warmest people we have met and we are thrilled to know the cabin, Long Lake and the surrounding towns were all enjoyed! You have an adventurous spirit that is contagious. All the best to you and we look forward to hosting your family again soon!
If you have a boat and like to stay right on the water, i honestly could not recommend this place enough. The owners were very gracious and approachable, they made everything very easy and all of our questions were answered within minutes. This location strikes a perfect balance between being a rustic cabin while having all amenities needed for comfort such as: showers, cooktop, oven, coffee maker, tv, plenty of area for lounging or eating at the dinner table, grill, firepit, etc. With the location on the island, you feel like you are in the middle of everything going on. Plenty of good fishing a stones throw from the dock and few awesome bars and grills that have docks that are about a 5 minute boat ride from the cabin. Make sure to try the pizza at pioneers bar and grill! The one thing I would recommend before coming out is to buy some groceries and fishing bait so you never have to leave the lake because you wont want to!

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful review of our cabin! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We sincerely appreciate you taking time to write the review and hope you visit again soon.
All our best,
Scott and Lynn
Amazing VRBO for a family, especially if you like being secluded (on an island) with plenty low-key things to do (fish, swim, play games, pontoon across the lake for a meal). Beautiful location with a great open living/dining/kitchen area, large deck, plenty of seating, loons on the lake & a couple bald eagles nearby. Definitely recommend renting the pontoon. This is an older cabin, in the best sense of the word…comfortable, not sterile. I hope we have the opportunity to come back.
Return to the A frame for my husband and his family was a real treat. It was just as they remembered, and it was such a treat to make new memories with our own kids. A few upgrades to the cabin and pontoon could make it even more spectacular, but still one of a kind.
Can not say enough nice things about the week we had. The House had everything one could need. Lynn and Scott did an excellent job, meeting us, making sure every thing was going well for us, and that we had had every thing we needed. We would highly recommend there place.
We had a great time. The cabin was so much fun for my kids and I. Very peaceful, very relaxing. The lake was great with good fishing and swimming. It was well worth renting the pontoon as we were able to explore all over the lake. Both my kids and I wished we had stayed for longer. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property :)
Lynn and Scott are terrific hosts. Their island home is lovely. Our family had a beautiful week on the lake. I would consider them super hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. 😀
We loved this place so much and hope to return next summer! Our hosts were so helpful and the house was adorable. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful and private. I have been going to Long Lake for 50 years and this was my favorite place we have stayed!
Cabin was very clean, and pretty much has everything you need, we actually packed too much. The island was very peaceful, nice dock for our boat, and a little sand beach, which is where I pretty much spent all of my time. The deck has a grill, patio table and plenty of chairs and loungers. Check in went well, Lynn and Scott met us a boat launch and gave us all the info we needed. Just be prepared to take everything you brought by boat to the island, the boat launch gets busy. If in doubt of what you need to bring, I would say contact Lynn, she was very quick getting back to me. We will definitely plan to come back.
My sister and I needed to escape from reality for a bit. This property on an island, in Long Lake was amazing! Lynn and Scott met us at their dock, and sent us off to the cabin. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the beautiful fall colors, and a few campfires by the lake. I would happily recommend this spot to anyone needing to get away!
Lynn and Scott were super great hosts. Communicated very well and we’re flexible with check in time seeing that we’re were traveling 6 hours with our 10month old daughter 😃. Cabin was clean and their boat rental worked perfect for our travels around the lake. Saw beautiful sunsets and stars! Would recommend this cabin to any one looking to experience long lake in a quiet peaceful setting. Can’t wait to get back!
Had a great time at this cabin. Great location (on an island, large lake), cozy A-frame cabin. We enjoyed being away from reality and we're quite comfortable during our stay. This was exactly what we needed to getaway from the real world!
Awesome people to rent from. Smooth, easy rental experience. Location was fantastic - 5 private acres on one of the most sought after lakes in Northern WI) A-frame had everything we needed. (We also rented the pontoon) it was just like the house- old but very clean (with 40 hp motor served us well..
