The property was just as advertised. Great location, you can walk to town, but the location is in a very quiet neighborhood. The property was very clean and obviously well cared for. There were lots of those little touches that make for a really nice stay. Carol was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again:)
Everything about the cottage is high-quality. It’s a very nice setting, close walk to town and quiet. The king bed is super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
Property was super cute and clean with everything we needed. Located within walking distance to grocery store and local restaurants. Carol was super the whole stay. Would stay there again for sure
The cottage was even nicer than it appeared to be in the photos on the Vrbo website. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, the shower was perfect, and it was great to have a washer and dryer. Carol was a terrific host. She provided clear instructions and suggestions of things to explore. The neighborhood is lovely and accessible to most everything in Sebastopol. It was a great area for walking, too.
My daughter and I spent a long weekend in the cottage. Our host was available and made certain everything was ready for a very comfortable stay. We flew into Santa Rosa and rented a car. The cottage is located close to Main and downtown. The coast and redwoods are just a short drive, making the location excellent.
The property is gorgeous. House is clean, chic, current, well stocked and had the best coffee! Great location. Quiet area. Really enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to friends and most certainly be back. Thank you!
The unit was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Off street parking was available with a shared driveway. Our host Carol was most generous with her time and attention to our requests. We can recommend this property for either short or longer stays. No shortage of wineries and fine dining in this small town.
We have stayed here before and remember how lovely the home and neighborhood was to stay. Carol is very nice and friendly and the location can't be beat. You can walk to the dining areas and a quick, easy drive of 20 minutes or so will get you to Doran Beach. We plan on coming back as often as we can.
Private space, nice and quiet. Beautiful gardens. Carol is welcoming and accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely come back! The space of 600 sq feet felt great for two people. Washer and dryer a plus!

Lovely Little Cottage
The cottage was very cozy and lovely. Carol did a great job and maintaining it. My 3 yr old really loved the experience. He said "this is a nice place to live mama :)". Wish we could spend more time exploring Sebastopol.

very well maintained
We had a very good experience at this property. The space was quiet, with lots of room, comfortable furnishings that were well designed. Everything was easy to use and the location was very convenient for walking into the downtown area. The hostess was friendly and helpful. All these factors made for a very comfortable stay away from home. 10/10 A definite good option for the Sebastopol region.
We stayed in this cottage for nine nights and couldn’t have been happier. The host Carol is so gracious, friendly and offered us everything we needed as well as great tips for things to do and where to go. The bed is extremely comfortable and cozy and the kitchen is well equipped for anyone who likes to cook like I do. The bathroom is large with a modern glass shower and plenty of room for two people to get ready for the day. Location in the city is close to stores and restaurants if you like to walk to things or just take a stroll to check out the local art and beautiful homes. We will definitely be back to this property in the near future. Thank you to Carol for her great hospitality and sharing her wonderful cottage with us.

A great stay in a great town!
The house was great and Carol was as pleasant as could be. We had a great time in Sebastopol!
We enjoyed some wine tasting in the area and checked out the Barlow. Make sure you stop at the Village Bakery for a breakfast sandwich. It will change your life...SO GOOD!
Thanks for everything Carol.

Delightful Time in Sebastopol
We just spent three nights at Carol's lovely hideaway. It was exceptionally clean and very well supplied, complete with coffee, spices, and ice. The bed was very comfortable. It is on a quiet street but we easily walked to downtown, and down the street with all of the famous artwork. Carol welcomed us warmly and was extremely receptive whenever we asked for anything. I highly recommend her place.

Quiet getaway only a few minute walk to town.
The pictures give a pretty accurate view of the apartment. The location is ideal, being both close to downtown Sebastapol, yet located in a quiet artsy neighborhood. Place was clean and tidy with everything we needed for our three-day stay. Wi-fi and TV both were available and worked well. Bed was comfortable.
Be sure to stroll nearby Florence St and view the "junk art" -- Very cleverly done.

Delightful cottage in a delightful town
My wife and I loved this cottage. Carol was a wonderful host and we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The bed and shower were first-rate and we made good use of the well-equipped kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and charming and an easy walk or ride from good restaurants. Sebastopol proved to be charming and an ideal location for easy access to all the wonderful spots in Sonoma County. We were sorry to leave and we will certainly recommend both Sebastopol and Carol's cottage to friends traveling to the area.

A restful stay
My husband and I had a very restful Thanksgiving break in this property. We found the property very clean, the bathroom and small kitchen modern and beautifully remodeled and the house conveniently situated near downtown Sebastopol. We could walk to grocery stores (very useful for us since we fixed a simple Thanksgiving meal in the house!) and restaurants and explore the beautiful city of Sebastopol. We particularly enjoyed the unique "junk" art on Florence Avenue! Carol the owner was very accommodating and allowed us extra time in the house if we needed it.

Just the Right Place!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! Would you believe that we are locals too? We're just trying to get away for a brief respite from our busy work schedules, and Carol's place is just the right place. We will be back, as this is our one true getaway these days. It was close, but felt like we had an opportunity to be tourists in our own backyard. The amenities are very clean, well furnished and private! Carol is the consummate host in making sure we were happy and all was going well with our stay.

Perfect Cozy Sebastopol Cottage!
This is our 2nd. stay in Carol's beautiful cottage. We're so grateful to have found her because we can't imagine staying anywhere else while we're in town visiting our family. Carol is so wonderful and gracious. She treats us like we're her family. Her cottage is adorable and clean. It's stocked with everything you'll need to make your stay comfortable. Thank you Carol for your kindness. We're looking forward to seeing you again soon!

About the host
Hosted by Carol
Carol has always lived in northern California. She recently retired and enjoys hiking, biking and gardening. She is easy going and enjoys people. In this photo Carol is in her garden
Why they chose this property
Carol moved to Sebastopol because of the small town charm, the Mediterranean climate and the close proximity to the ocean and to San Francisco.
What makes this property unique
It is an easy walk from the cottage to the many excellent restaurants and unique shops in town. There is also the new Barlow Center, wine tasting rooms, 3 brew pubs, the alternative Rialto Cinema. Around the corner of the cottage are a parade of creative sculptures on Florence Avenue by Patrick Amiot. His art is a town treasure.
