This is a great location for skiing Monarch in winter and hiking in the area in summer. It is well-appointed and feels very homey. We have stayed here many times and hope to return again this summer!

Although quaint and small, the property was well taken care of and well stocked. We walked to the main streets where there were restaurants, entertainment, the river and our event venues.The weather was warm. With the fans and cross breezes from the windows, it was pleasant. Parking was convient.

A very nice historic row house that has been updated nicely and had all of the modern conveniences that we now expect. The communication with the owners was top-notch and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Most Adorable Place Ever

This has got to be the best vacation rental I've ever had. The decor and remodeling was exquisite, everything well stocked and thoroughly thought out. The location was fantastic, close to town, near the park, and quiet at night. I would definitely rent this place again if I go back to Salida.

Perfect and Quaint

Great location near downtown. We were able to walk to the bakery and coffee shop every morning of our stay. Located around a couple of older church buildings so it was a beautiful and peaceful stroll. The park is also about a block away and it is a very relaxing area away from the busier local shops but close enough to walk to them. The interior was cozy and well appointed with all the necessary things. Downtown Salida did not disappoint.

Loved Our Stay in Salida!

We stayed two nights at 5th & D in July 2021. The property was quaint, cozy and very comfortable. The bath was very small, as the description stated, but it fit the atmosphere of the rental. The decor was exceptional, as was the cleanliness. We had nothing but a wonderful experience. Thank you for providing your wonderful rental. It was fun!

Nice ambiance. Pretty, relaxing home.

The rental is lovely. It was very clean and well decorated. It has a nice dining area. It is a short distance to restaurants and shops. We had some problems with channels on the television set. I’m assuming this has been addressed.

We enjoyed the small house.It was so cute, a bit rustic and loved the decor!It would have raised our rating with a window a/c unit for the evenings and nights. The tall fan helped but the lowest temp it showed was 78 degrees.We are in our late 60's so it was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, great and close to shopping, etcSaw deer walking around town!Thanks
