Beautiful little place

This property was perfect. For 2 guys attending some training it gave us the privacy we needed and accommodated us perfectly. The pool and hot tub were amazing along with the workout facility. Everyone in the complex was very nice. Hoping to come back someday and will be looking for this place again.

Monaco condo stay

Location was great, easy walk to restaurants and essentials. Pool and hot tub in great condition. Condo was not clean, no pool towels (and only 4 large towels and two hand towels), no plastic cups/plates to use at the pool. Sheets in master were threadbare and some holes. Very drab interior. I would stay in the area again, but not in this condo

Hello Cynthia, I am sorry to hear that our condo was not to your standards. There were 6 towels and 6 wash cloths provided for your stay. There were also 4 pool towels on the bottom shelf of the cabinet in the master bathroom. I am sorry you were not able to locate them. Please call or text next time so that we can direct you to the pool towels. We do provide a fully stocked kitchen with 16 plates, cutlery sets, glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups and cooking utensils, but we do not provide paper plates or cups. I do apologize, but that is something that guests are required to provide if they wish to use disposables. We do appreciate any and all feedback as we strive to make each guest happy and comfortable during their stay. If you choose to stay with us again, I would be happy to bring more towels if asked. Bad Experience

Inadequate cookware when we arrived. Dishwasher not fastened to counter and would tip when opened, 2 burnt out lightbulbs in kitchen. No hot water for 5 days! The problem was not the condo itself but the inexperience of the owner who accused me of leaving crumbs in the couch and carpet, sticky microwave and extremely sticky floors (after I had dusted all furniture, vacuumed and mopped the floors and left the condo spotless and even washed the sheets and towels before we left). I was very upset as I did not have to do any cleaning at all as I was charged a cleaning fee. We liked the condo but would not rent from this owner again.

Hello Marion, I do apologize that you had a bad experience but we've tried everything to accommodate you and make your stay as best we could. Weeks before you arrived you asked me to waive fees and asked if you could clean yourself, as I wish I could allow that for all of our guests, I cannot because I still go through and clean EVERYTHING after everyone's stay, from sanitizing door knobs, light switches and even the base boards plus the standard cleaning I do. Thank you for cleaning but we still had to go through and clean everything again after your stay, it's our policy to ensure every guest gets the condo VERY sanitary. When you called me and demanded more cooking utensils, I personally went out and spent $119 on utensils of YOUR liking. You also called me and said you don't have hot water and the heat didn't work in the unit, but when I arrived at the property and let the hot water run it got WARM not HOT within 5 minutes and your husband said "Well that's the warmest it's gotten." Then when I switched on the heat, the condo warmed up extremely fast...funny how things started working when I arrived. As for the water not getting hot, you are correct, so we gave you a partial refund. The plumbers did mention that it was very hard to get any work done as you stood over them the entire time telling them how to do their job. I understand that you were "offended" that I wouldn't give out codes weeks before your arrival, but that is a safety precaution for our other guests. The reason is, in the past we have had people show up and make themselves at home before their scheduled time. I know you feel we should trust everyone with these things (as you mentioned to me) but it's our job to ensure safety to all of our guests. We truly did try to make your stay the best we could, but everyday we received texts about things you didn't approve of, such as "the pool lighting wasn't bright enough" (out of our control) and asking us things such as coming over to show you how to slide the light dimmer. We don't mind doing these things but we ask that you please be kind and not ask for refunds for the slightest things that are out of our control. I wish we could have made your stay more pleasant.

Owner was very responsive to emails. Check in process was well organized and easy. Unit was in a nice neighborhood overlooking the pool and spa. BBQ grills worked fine and were clean. The unit was well stocked with cleaning products. Kitchen coffee maker thoughtfully included starter collection of K cups. Also in kitchen was aluminum foil, basic spices and nice supply of cooking equipment. Unfortunately, the unit is in need of a thorough cleaning and possible update. Fans in bedrooms were covered with dust so thick, we were afraid to start the fans. Ceiling in master bath was badly stained over the sink counter. Glass door to master shower was missing glide lip allowing it to move inward toward the interior, creating a dangerous situation. Various food items were left in the refrigerator and breakfast cereal in the cabinets. Couches in living room were covered with scattered feathers. We were left thinking that the unit could not have been cleaned prior to our arrival. Owner was agreeable to our arrival at 2 o’clock, two hours early. Overall a great find except for cleaning issues. It was clear however that both bedrooms had been vacuumed.

nice getaway

This is the first time i have used VRBO and it made it easy. the place was as the pictures showed. contemporary and an outstanding location for sure. This area is close to everything we needed and much within walking distance. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. Lani, the property owner was always responsive to any questions or minor issues that came up. We took long walks in the area. I would love to stay there again.

Perfect vacation

The hosts were very accomodating and answered questions within minutes! They went out of their way make us feel welcome. The pictures are a true shot of what the condo looks like. The location was close to everything. We loved all the walking paths surrounding the complex; and walked to Starbucks every morning. We’d love to stay again if we go to AZ next year. Scottsdale in Spring is a welcome change for the COLD midwest winters!

Quite and chic!

Very luxurious and modern condo in Paridise Valley Scottsdale. The condo was equipped with all the basic necessities and very clean and comfortable! Not to mention the gym and pool/hot tub. Only a two minute walk from morning coffee or fine dinning and less than a five minute drive to old town. This unit will be the great escape you’re looking for on your visit!
