CAPELLA is our Chalet Apartment (new build in 2018) fitted to a high standard in the residences of Chalet Brunes in Morzine.

There is also a communal Sauna available to guests in the same Chalet Building (Please note this is only available for the Winter Season Months December to April)

The apartment consists of 2 double/twin bedrooms, 1 large bathroom, open plan kitchen/lounge and large south facing terrace with beautiful mountain views. Also access to a personal Ski Locker and individual Garage.

The master bedroom has a king size bed which can be arranged as 2 twin beds depending on your requirements. It has double opening doors into the large terrace for direct access to enjoy your morning coffee. The second bedroom can also be arranged as a king size bed or 2 twin beds.

The bathroom features a WC, modern sink unit, heated rail and a large bath with an overhead rain shower to help unwind after your day on the mountain.

The open plan kitchen is well appointed, benefiting from a Nespresso Coffee machine, integrated fridge/freezer, microwave, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all the kitchen utensils you may require during your stay. A raised bar table separates the kitchen from the lounge and provides a seated dining space.

The lounge boasts double opening doors onto the large south facing terrace with fantastic views of the mountains and Pleney Ski Area. It has a 43 inch Flatscreen LED TV with all UK channels (and French TV channels if desired), blu-ray DVD player, Nintendo Wii and Bluetooth Speaker.

The Terrace of 15m2 has a relaxed seating area as well as dining table and chairs to enjoy winter aprĂšs or summertime relaxing whilst overlooking the mountains or gazing at the stars.

There is also a personal Ski Locker for all your equipment. This is fitted with a ski rack, helmet hooks and a 4 pair Boot Heater to ensure your boots are dry and comfortable for the next day.

There is a private lockable garage with secure gated parking for 1 car and bikes if required. Limited outdoor parking is also available on a first come first serve basis.

There is Free Wifi provided.

The Chalet is located on the Route d’Avoriaz, 10 mins walk into Morzine town centre and only 100m from the bus stop. This main bus route serves the Prodains lift to Avoriaz in the heart of the Porte du Soleil, as well as to central Morzine for the town and lifts.

Morzine is a charming alpine town, situated between Avoriaz and Les Gets in the French Alps and forms part of the Porte du Soleil mountain area, one of largest in Europe. It is only 1.5 hours from Geneva airport or 2.5 hours from Lyon airport, it has good connections which are well served. An extensive selection of outdoor activities are available, both winter and summer. Summer activities include a large network of mountain biking trails for all abilities, road cycling, hiking, trail running, parapenting, archery, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata, golf, swimming, tennis, fishing etc..

We stayed at Gemma’s apartment before Christmas and had a great holiday. It was a fantastic apartment ideal for a family of 4. It was well located and easy to get to the ski areas of Morzine and Avoriaz. The apartment had everything we needed, having the garage and ski locker made things very easy. Gemma was a very good host to deal with answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay again and would recommend the apartment.

Gemma super helpful, beautiful apartment but road outside was very busy probably because of people trying to reach only area with snow. Shutters minimised noise at night. Beautiful views.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all the mod cons including a nespresso machine! The owner, Gemma, was very knowledgable and very quick to answer questions I had. The apartment is located right by the bus stops to Morzine and Avoriaz. We walked into Morzine every night which took about 10/15 minutes. Morzine itself, is very lively and has some great places to eat and drink. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous apartment in Morzine!

We’ve just stayed at Capella for a half term ski trip and had a fantastic stay. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished in a modern style with a well equipped kitchen and large modern bathroom. The apartment was spotlessly clean, as was the building the apartment is located within. Even though it was winter, we loved the large balcony with views / sunsets over Morzine. The ski locker room with book dryers is located right next to the apartment so it is very convenient and safe to store your equipment and the underground parking was excellent too. We caught the free ski bus to Morzine, and it’s only a very short walk to / from the bus stop. We thoroughly loved our stay and highly recommend Capella. Communication with Gemma the host was fantastic too. Thanks for a great holiday!

Agréable séjour dans un joli appartement

Bel appartement confortable, moderne, bien décoré et bien équipé. Le garage fermé et sécurisé est trÚs appréciable en cette période hivernale. Le centre ville est rapidement accessible en voiture, ou en 10 à 15 mn à pied, c'est plutÎt pratique. Une petite remarque concernant le livret d'accueil qui est uniquement en anglais, un peu compliqué pour les explications concernant les appareils de chauffage ( heureusement il y a google traduction ! ). En ce moment de couvre feu à 18h nous aurions apprécié avoir plus de choix dans les programmes TV français ( 4 chaines en tout et pour tout !!!) Pas trÚs grave car séjour court.

Great holiday

Had a great week in this apartment, property is a great size and has everything you could possibly need for your stay, it is extremely clean and very modern, bonus of ski locker being next to the apartment means easy access when you’re getting ready, location is good, you’re near the bus stop for getting to either Avoriaz or Morzine centre and not too many stops away. Owner has been extremely helpful in making our stay a special one, wouldn’t hesitate to return, thanks.

Great place to stay in the spring / early summer

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. We had 7 sunny days out of 8, which always helps. We would all probably stay in Morzine and in particular this apartment again if the opportunity arose. For spring and summer use, the balcony / terrace is lovely. We spent most afternoons, after our walk for the day, sitting out there. We also ate out there most evenings. The 3 piece suite cushions are perhaps a bit thin, for long term sitting, but we just supplemented with those from inside! The other boon was that the inside of the apartment stayed pleasantly cool. I presume it is the modern insulation that does this and that it is equally pleasantly warm in the winter. The apartment is well furnished, decorated and equipped. It’s the first time we have experienced an induction hob and pans that work and how! The only slight criticism on the equipment, for those who cook / eat-in a lot, is that the fridge seemed a bit small. However because the flat kept cool we did find that we could put the slightly less perishables like butter, veg & salad in the cupboard under the breakfast bar. There were 4 adults in our party: myself, my wife and our 2 adult daughters. The location is very good, with lovely views from the balcony. It took us about 10-15 minutes walking down to the centre of town and 15 to 20 back (up-hill). Shame about the football results. Morzine is very pleasant, not too much of a pure ski resort like the rather bleak, in summer, Avoriaz. The Carrefour in town and the hypermarket version on the outskirts of St-Jean-d’Aulps are good and easily reached by car with easy parking. You definitely need a car to get about in summer, unless you want to stay just in Morzine. The walking is excellent with all levels of walks, up to proper mountaineering trips available in the vicinity. The Alpine flowers were lovely. Gemma is very helpful and the booking procedure was easy. We got our cleaning / damages deposit back without a problem.

An absolutely top class modern spacious apartment

This apartment is by far the best we've stayed in during the past 12 years of snowboarding, and we've stayed in some absolute crackers! Not only is this apartment brand new, but it's bright, modern, spacious, has every amenity available and extremely tastefully decorated. It's also situated in walking distance from the centre of Morzine village and more or less on a direct bus route to the Prodain express cable car to Avoriaz. So it's ideally situated between the two making it a brilliant comfortable apartment that has more than enough space for either a family of four or two couples. The entire booking procedure from start to finish was extremely easy and the owner was a delight to deal with. We couldn't have asked for anymore from them. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. I think anyone who has stayed here would say exactly the same thing. This is a super brand new apartment that has a modern twist but whilst keeping a very traditional feel. I'm sure that I speak for everyone in saying anyone that stays here will agree you will not be disappointed.

Why they chose this property

We love the town of Morzine and have dreamt of owning a property here for a long time after many Ski holidays in the Portes du Soleil area. We now enjoy the large Ski area and love the area in the Summer too for mountain biking (VTT), walking and all various activities the area has to offer.

What makes this property unique

When Chalet Brunes came up as a new construction in Morzine we loved its location for access to the town but also its South facing aspect and views, especially due to the large outside terrace our apartment has.
