Valley s Place, perfect home for longer stays in SE Arizona, bright & airy.

Easy access to all of Southeast Arizona: Kartchner Caverns State Park, Tombstone, Bisbee, Coronado and Chiricahua National Monuments, Sierra Vista and Historic Fort Huachuca , great birding, hiking, and sight-seeing throughout the region including Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve. If you have a motorcycle, we have a concrete driveway, so no gravel parking. Also many wineries nearby. Some people are aware that across the border in Naco, Mexico there are some excellent dentists. Ask us for details!

Great location

In a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently located to many scenic attractions. This house had everything you could possibly need while away from home. Will definitely stay there again. Very kind and attentive hosts, great job Valley and Steve!

Homey, Great Location

The property was exactly what we needed for our 5 week stay. The location was ideal with easy access to hiking, wine tasting, and local sites.The kitchen was VERY well equipped, including spices and basic cooking needs, like oil and flour. The beds were very comfortable. The entire property was clean and modern.We won't hesitate to return when our travels take us to that area.

A Gem

Just a terrific place to stay when in the area. Clean, neat, and very responsive hosts. If you like quiet, large open back yard and all the wildlife roaming around...this is it.

Wonderful stay

Everything was great and the hosts responded very quickly to any questions. We really enjoyed the covered patio. The beds and sofas were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. They have everything you need (crockpot, Keurig, coffee pot, electric kettle, spices, various pillows, heating pad, laundry detergent…) and more for your visit. I would definitely recommend staying here.

2nd stay still good

Our 2nd stay here was wonderful. Location is good, property is beautiful. Valley thinks of everything you could need for your home away from home. We were able to cook, relax and be comfortable in this house. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this property to stay at and Valley is so wonderful to work with.

Weekend at Valley's Place

This was the first time using VRBO. We enjoyed having a house with room to roam instead of small hotel room. Enjoyed hiking Ramsey Canyon, Autumn Sage Vineyards wine tasting and the ghost town of Fairbank.

Post Winter Getaway

We had a very enjoyable experience at Whetstone. Valley was amazing and the property was very well stocked. We are veterans of VBRO and even with some 5 star reviews we still, in the past, could offer additions. Valley, however, thought of everything. The house is well situation to all the attractions we were planning to visit. We highly recommend this property and hope we will be welcomed back next year.

Nice house in a convenient location

My wife and I stayed here for a few days in late November while house hunting. The location was very convenient to Sierra Vista, Sonoita and Benson. The house was comfortable and the as advertised. Wifi and satellite TV worked fine but there was no live TV, which was not a problem.

Stay in Hauchuca City

We live in N.Az. the scenery is different and beautiful down south. Was a nice getaway. Valley and Steve are great hosts. They go above and beyond providing a very homey place to stay. Hopefully will be able to return.

Cute, quiet property

My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay at this property! The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked! Especially the spice cabinet! We appreciated the vibe of the backyard and saw cardinals, hummingbirds and more! My only wish would have been to see the bird feeders full. The birds came, but didn't stay long because of this. Other than that, we had a groovy time!

Super Cute

The house was perfect and well stocked. Weve stayed at many VRBO's and nothing compares to this one. Valley and Steve were informative around the area. And just good people. We just stayed home 1 day and watched all the birds. The dog had a great time in the backyard. Will stay again!

Great Country Hideaway

The property is a well maintained 2 BR with a modern kitchen. We arrived late, but the owner was accomodating and all arrangements were in place. The property has a large backyard which help us with keeping our dog occupied. I'm sure we'll be back.

Valley set up a space behind a screen for laundry. She has ironing board with irons. She also offers just about every kitchen appliance you would want. The outside area is relaxing with comfy chairs. The birds sang away which added to peace. There are good walking dogs streets and some dirt ones. The place has great beds, hot shower. Lots of sky lights. She provdes bath robes. She even has zip lock bags,foil and waxed paper. Found everything i needed. It is rhe very best rental i have even stayed in.

To begin with, our property owner, Valley was a very special and friendly lady. She stocked her home with even spices in case anyone wanted to cook. The home was clean and the back yard was huge. Our little dogs loved the yard and we loved the patio. I recommend this quiet home.

Long weekend get away

The house was great, very comfortable stay with everything we needed. All furnishings, kitchenware and linens in great condition and everything was clean. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed exploring this part of Arizona, it is beautiful, green and not at all what we expected. Were able to see Tombstone and Bisbee, Chiricahua and even made it to some wineries. We hope to have the opportunity to return again as there is much more to visit. Thank you to Valley and Steve for providing such a great home away from home.

Although new to HomeAway, Valley's Place has been a vacation rental with another provider for almost 2 years, where we have Superhost status and numerous 5-Star reviews. We love cooking good food & drinking good wine. In fact, we make our own wine and do quite a bit of canning (interesting things like habanero sauce, blackberry black pepper & aged rum jam, pickled asparagus, paleo apple butter, etc.) We often fish in Alaska for halibut and make our own smoked salmon. We especially like it when we get to meet our guests, which frequently gives us an opportunity to share the things we make.
Our favorite compliment from our guests is when they express that their experience has been like a "home away from home."
Our first vacation rental experiences were in Barcelona, Spain and Amsterdam. We absolutely loved the feeling of experiencing how we would live if we were locals there! That's what inspired us to create our own vacation rental. So far, it's been great to share our own area with folks from other places, especially because Cochise County, Arizona is a totally amazing destination in so many ways!

Why they chose this property

Southeastern Arizona has so much to offer! The climate is great all year round and because of the elevation, in the summer it is much cooler than Phoenix or even Tucson.
We are in close proximity to many of the attractions that bring travelers our way. Having lived in this community for almost 40 years, we know the area extremely well and can always make suggestions to our guests.

What makes this property unique

Everyone who has stayed at Valley's Place finds it to be bright and airy, extremely comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood.
Sitting out on the back patio with the fairy lights on creates a space that is very relaxing and enjoyable. It is also private as there is a large fenced backyard. We live in the neighborhood ourselves, so are readily available when our guests might need something.
