Eagles Nest is a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath 3 story home that sleeps 8, located on the Gulf of Mexico. This recently updated home has 180 degree views of the Gulf and surrounding marsh, with spectacular views of the sunset. The home features a downstairs bar area with a mini-fridge and ice machine. Each floor features a large deck for eating and relaxing. Eagle Nest vacationers will have access to 2 on site beach cruiser bikes, 2 kayaks, and 1 stand-up paddle board. There is a pool with views of the gulf along with a large dock for great fishing and or docking your boat. (Guests need to provide their own fishing equipment.) All boating/fishing amenities are located within a half mile-including marina, boat ramp and bait shop. Now offering ptivate YOGA sessions upon request!

Best vacation ever

We came down to see the Weeki Wachee river and this house is very close. I wanted something on the water with a private pool and it literally felt like we were on our own private island. So relaxing and the large porches were our favorite place to be. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing relaxing home!

My family and I (hubby and 2 boys) had a wonderful time relaxing at this house. Beautiful scenery all around us- we saw dolphins and manatees and enjoyed sunsets from deck each night! Would definitely stay here again when we return to Florida.

Family Gathering

From the drive into the community where the house is, to the house/HOME itself… EVERYTHING was fantastic. Easy commute from airport and plenty to do or not do around. We fished, kayaked and enjoyed the serene view!! Thank you Heather and family. We had a great family gathering!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time Heather was super easy to communicate with and we had no problems with anything We swam in the pool, fished from the dock and caught fish, used the kayaks and bikes Was amazed at how much the tide differed every day The highlight of the trip was when we had a dolphin swim and spent a good ten minutes right around the dock We also had manatees swim by everyday We checked out a few of the local restaurants and all of them were delicious We will defiantly try to get back sometime Thanks again Heather for sharing your place

Beautiful Florida House right on the water!

We had an amazing time at the house. It was so clean and felt like home from the moment we arrived. We had cooler weather the week we were there, so the kayaks were a huge hit with me and my kids since swimming was a bit chilly. We saw beautiful sunsets each night as well as dolphins a few times. The neighborhood was very quite. We'd definitely love to stay here again.

Perfect combo of nature and excitement!

My family reserved the house looking for a little something different for Christmas this year. We wanted to relax but have a location close enough to head south for a few beach towns and north to swim with the manatees in Crystal River. This location was perfect. We rented a pontoon a few days and swam in the Flats. That was amazing! We kayaked, fished & swam most of the time. Everyone had a space of their own. Heather was an excellent host. The house had everything we needed. We Loved it so much!

Lovely, comfortable home with outstanding sunset views

Our extended family of six adults had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home on the water! Loved having the pool and the two kayaks to use. Most of our time was spent outside on all the great outdoor decks and patios that had lots of furniture for lounging and eating. We saw dolphins with their young and a manatee with her baby. The large beds were very comfortable. The bunk room would probably work best for kids rather than adults, which is what it’s intended for. The kitchen was well stocked! If someone needs to rent extra kayaks, I recommend Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental…they deliver and pick up. The high tide provides lots of paddling about. It’s a beautiful way to see the mangroves up close and to spend time on the water. Very easy getting on and off board using the ladder on the dock. Thank you Heather and family for making your home available! We will stay there again if the future brings us to Hernando Beach

This place was amazing and my whole family loved it. First the view from both balconies was breath taking. The sunsets were gorgeous. There was ample space for all 6 of us there with plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and a great place to make meals. The only thing we were missing was a blender. The decor was very pleasing and the owner took time in making it feel so homey. We enjoyed the outdoor space by the pool and loved the dock and deck spaces as well. The owner was easy to get in touch with and was very prompt in getting back with me. Overall, this was an amazing place with the most gorgeous sunsets. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing View

This house was perfect for our group! The views are spectacular from the ground level and both balconies!! We cooked every meal at the house, with plenty of space for us to enjoy together time and alone time. We paddle boarded from the dock with lots of places to explore.

Beautiful place

Beautiful clean place with lots to do for our family with kids. The sunsets were beautiful and it was great to have so many amenities. Heather responded quickly to questions. The only bummer was that the pool heater was broken and since we were visiting in the winter the water was too cold to swim. Would definitely check if it’s fixed if I were to come back.

Beautiful home!

Our recent stay in Hernando Beach was wonderful. The house was clean and beautiful, with all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting by the pool and taking our boat out to catch scallops. It was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend it.

Perfect for all!

We had a fantastic time. The place is beautiful first of all, and the view is amazing. There was always something to do so we never had the feeling that we needed to go somewhere else. Between swimming, kayaking, or fishing (with our own poles), we also had down time watching movies, playing games such as checkers or Uno, or reading books. There was a lovely book about flower arrangement that I enjoyed. There were also some toys to keep my 11-month old happy and preoccupied. Great place! We would love to do it again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean and cozy. The kayaks we took out every day. Plenty of space on every deck to enjoy the view from all levels. We saw dolphins, stingrays, and manatees! Host was incredibly easy to get ahold of. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Why they chose this property

Eagle Nest is 40 minutes from where the owners live. It is the perfect distance for a quick weekend get-a-way. The views, fishing and pool make this spot hard to leave!

What makes this property unique

They fell in love with this house because of the water views from all rooms and the amazing fishing. They often catch mangrove snapper and trout off the dock and snook and redfish from their boat. It is also located at the end of a cul-de-sac so their kids can easily ride their bikes.
