Great little condo right on the Great Eastern Trail. The place was clean, well appointed, and you can’t beat the location. We brought our family of 4, and it was the perfect size for us. We hope to visit again!
Might be the best ski in ski out location I’ve seen. Could literally ski right up to the back slider. My daughters loved the sauna, and the money we saved being able to cook made it all worth it.
This condo is steps from the trails and so convenient. It was clean and nicely furnished. The facilities were exactly as advertised. We had a great week. Planning to return in the future.

The location was perfect. Ski on and ski off, easily. Outdoor fire pit was a plus at end unit A. Doesn't sleep 6 that comfortably. Small quarters and pull out couch needs attention. King size bed and master bedroom are very nice. Ryan the host was very accommodating and easy to work with.

Thanks Susan. The master bedroom has a king, there are 3 twins (1 bunk) in guest room and the pullout queen sleeper sofa for a max 6 occupancy. I didnt find an issue with sleeper. The unit is 1150 sq ft or slightly larger than the average 2 bed 2 bath condo in Killington, larger units are priced at a premium and few can match the location.
You can not beat this ski in/ski out location! The trail is right outside the back door. At the end of the day, it was great to just ski right to the parking area. The townhouse is just as described. It was perfect for the two of us and our little senior dog.
Ryan was great to deal with. Prior to our stay, he was quick to respond to any message I sent.
I would highly recommend it. In fact, we already have recommended it to friends of ours!

Not what expected
Dark and dingy. Tiny living room. Nowhere to hang wet clothes.

I have been hosting in Killington for 14 years and have multiple properties available in Sunrise, Trail Creek, and Spruce Glen. I encourage guests to reach out to me for insight on lodging options in Killington. It was clear when Jamie arrived that she hadn't read the listing or house instructions and was expecting a single family house. The Spruce Glen units are renovated 1150 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bath units (2 per building) in an amazing location and often priced 30% lower than comparable sized options like 2 bedroom units in the Killington Grand hotel (but with even better Ski on/off and privacy). Jamie was very disrespectful, including telling her kids to intentionally wear their ski boots in the house and mistreat the property. I do not say this often, but I would not rent to Jamie in any of my properties again. There are almost 400 reviews of Spruce Glen units available for your consideration.
Three of us, all professional females, booked this house for the Spartan Race. The location was perfect! We were so close to the resort, restaurants, but yet, the house was in gorgeous wooded surroundings. We found the house immaculately clean, spacous, and exactly as portrayed in the photos! We'll be back!
You’re just steps away from the trail. Make sure not to go too later or early in the season when the first sky ship is closed. The house is big and fit me and my family with no problem. Loved the dry sauna.
I've had other stays at ski on/ski off properties at many ski areas but the location of this condo can't be beat. Literally 6 steps from the back door and you put on your skis to go down Great Eastern to the Skyship gondola. Even better that was subzero so the ride to the top was most pleasant in the gondola. Ryan was a great host and very communicative about the features and what to expect. We would definitely come back for another stay.
The unit was pretty dirty, very dated furnishings other than the recently renovated bathroom.
Location would’ve been great if eastern side of Killington was open. Property manager seemed very nice although he lives out of state so no one is in the general vicinity to fix issues so you have to wait until at least 24 hours later. Found extreme mold on the cutting boards, inside the coffee maker, a lot of hair in the shower and the beds. Just seems like they gave you the bare minimum with everything. if you are a group of teenage boys you will probably love the place, but other than that it was way too dirty and falling apart to be a rental. (The bathroom is gorgeous and newly renovated but that’s about it)

Response from VrboOwner on 2 September 2023
This commentary isn't honest, nor accurate. Beth wasn't happy the ski in/out was closed for her early December stay. My listing does state this does not typically open until mid to late December through March. The rates are lower in the shoulder season to reflect this. Beth never waited more than 10 minutes for any response. I sent my cleaner back to the property, she refused entry to verify or remedy her additional complaints. I gave her a $100 credit the following day, and there was never anywhere near a 24 hour response. I am Premier Host, Airbnb Superhost and have over 350 reviews at Spruce Glen, which is professionally cleaned each stay and has been fully updated in the last 2 years.
Very clean and updated cabin in the Killington area with lots of space. The owner was very communicative with things to do and was available when needed. Recommend the place for a couple or a family. Thanks.

Thanks Jason, I've skied and enjoyed Killington since the early 80s and am always happy to share local insights.
Awesome slope side cozy home ! We enjoyed easy trial access the peace and beautiful mountain surroundings and delicious dinning !! Highly recommend staying here our family can't wait to return ❤️
Wow! What a great location. The ability to ski in and ski out made our experience at Killington amazing. You can literally ski right to your back door. The recent upgrades to the property, flooring, shower, appliances, and gas fireplace, were great. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
We've stayed at Spruce Glen several times. Ryan is always super flexible with check in/out and the location is unbeatable. Love the recent bathroom and kitchen renovations and this remains our go-to spot for Killington trips.

Thank you Cathy, it's a pleasure to host your visits and I appreciate the loyal visits to Spruce Glen!
You literally walk out sliding doors, put your skis on and ski 15 feet to the Great Eastern Trail. Skiers, boards, snow cats outside your window yet still peaceful and quiet before and after lifts. A very affordable way to stay on trail if you are a smaller family (although the place was plenty large enough for 6+) and don't rent the huge houses. It was a fun experience for our son to stay on the trail. Being able to ski home for lunch(severe food allergies limit food my son can eat at the lodges) and visit with our dog during the day to make sure he was happy was priceless. Not many place allow pets so we are grateful for that. But I will comment for anyone who is not used to staying in "pet friendly" units that you will know its pet friendly when you enter. Its an honest description for someone not used to living with a pet and quite honestly what we expected having stayed in pet friendly units before so not at all a big issue for us. Overall clean no hair, dirt, garbage visible as we've seen in non pet friendly units. We will definitely stay again as it was perfect for our convenience and needs. We travel far and arrive late so the self check in process was easy and priceless too - at other units we have arrived late at night only to have to drive to the other side of the mountain to get keys so this was great. We only slept in the king bed which was comfortable.

Thanks Mary Ann, we have 2 pet friendly and 2 non pet units at Spruce Glen to accommodate guests needs- this unit is actually been refurbished and is non-pet now. Units C and D allow dogs as of 2020. Glad you enjoyed the location and king bed, its new and comfy! Happy to see you re-booked for another visit in March.
Needs some detailing, but pretty good overall. No dial tone on landline. Needs more utensils. Needs caulking and grout, especially on bathtub. Kitchen chair coming apart. Could use bathroom rugs. Very nice convenient and quiet location.

Why they chose this property
Spruce Glen is among the best locations in Killington, I remember skiing by the property as a kid and have now purchased it from the original owners as our family ski destination. I've enjoyed restoring this unique vacation complex to delight both new and loyal decades long guests!
What makes this property unique
Unrivaled ski on/off access on the Great Eastern Trail! Nestled in a forest of New England Spruce trees, just above the Skyeship Gondola base lodge. Spruce Glen is the only ski in ski out property in Killington that is not neither a condo association or private home. Guests enjoy the largest private lot on Great Eastern (almost 4 acres) at a lower cost than home rentals and more seclusion than nearby condo villages.
