This Bach was perfect for our families with the 3 little separate sleep outs & the bedroom inside made it perfect to fit our family in. Definitely recommend this spot & perfect for the budget.
Heaps of room and the view is fab. Stayed in the house a few times now.

Awesome, right on the lake front
Lovely spot on Rotoma, beautiful swimming area straight across the road, bach was perfect, loads of room with the extra sleeping areas out back. We lived on the deck most of our stay and enjoyed the view. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay!
Absolutely wonderful stay we had with a bunch of 9 friends. Had all the amenities needed for cooking and heaters were present in all the rooms also with stunning views of the lake itself.
Communication could have been better. Overall a best stay at an affordable price
Lovely, cosy bach. Well equipped kitchen. The separate outside bedrooms gave every one space and privacy. The lake was beautiful to look at and swim in. A really peaceful retreat.
My family and I had a great stay here, it was very tidy and great location. Was awesome to wake up and go on the beautiful lake. The photos on the listing do not do it justice. The only problem we had was the shower, it was scolding hot, almost unbearable and very low pressure but other than that we had an amazing time.
Awesome property located in the perfect location along the golden mile. We moored the boat right in front of the property whilst our stay and only had to walk across the road whenever we wanted to take it out. Fantastic!!!! Highly recommended!
The property had great lake access with it being across the road. The two kayaks were a nice bonus for the kids offering a bit extra for the days on the lake. The house is your typical bach which reflects the affordable cost however it has all necessities and was comfortable
Property was as listed , lovely little tidy 1 bedroom main house with cabins for over flow guest
Everything you need for a lovely escape
Plenty of room for the cars and boat
Swimming beach across the road
Large deck to watch the sun set and enjoy a bbq
Lake is stunning !
Bach managers/owner very helpful and sorted everything we needed help with promptly.
We will be back

Locked out, No sheets and towels for a $75 linen fee
On arrival the access instructions were not provided and we found ourselves locked out for about an hour. Fortunately the property owner was quick to message back and apologetic.
The property description does not have clear instructions with regard to linen provision, I checked this prior to packing to come to the property but I had been charged a $75 linen fee on top of cleaning and service fees so assumed that linen sheets and towels would be provided. These were not provided and covid was given as the reason. The linen fee was not refunded.
The property is in a great location but the house and outbuildings are quite damp and have a strong damp smell.
We made the most of this stay but overall the experience was poor and the house was clean and tidy but not a great value stay.
Everything was good, the view , barbecue, there was enough space, so on. There were two problems
1- the toilet was not cleaned.
2- the water in the shower was too hot that made it almost unusable.
Other things were good.
lovely place to stay a pity we were working so didnt really get to enjoy the area

About the host
Hosted by Reshmi Fox
We are a group of friends that love this place and wanted to have a place of our own. Some of us do not own a property apart from this Property. I had a dream of having a community place where my friends and I can go, chill and spend time with each other and call it our own. We made this a reality and love this place so we would like to invite people to enjoy this lakefront property as much as we do. We donate our bach to people who are in need to take their loved ones who are sick and from some of the feedback, they have found the lake to be very healing for them. I would like to continue and donate to more to people who need respite and can contact me directly so that we can help families and get families together. We would love to help those that truly need help and healing or recovering from illness.
Why they chose this property
This is a unique lakeside property where there is nothing but zen time. If you are a water lover the lake is just perfect for those quick swim and sports. This can accommodate up to 10 people, unfortunately due to regulation only has one kitchen and bathroom but we have plans to extend and to accommodate another bathroom in the future.
What makes this property unique
We help those who need help in the community. We donate to those seeking respite and recovering from illness since our purchase of this property. We take pride in our charity work that this property allows us to do. The property has played a part in Home schooling up to 10 children and allowed respite for sufferers from illnesses.
