The only suggestions would be maybe a few more towels and washcloths and some hand towels, and maybe a pot scrubber in the kitchen but other than that everything was great.
Host was great, cabin was cute and clean. Cabin had everything needed, well stocked. Kitchen had everything including a crockpot, tons of movies to watch, we didnt even turn the tv on!! We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors with our UTV and the game room was a bonus, we played 2 nights of ping pong and hadn't laughed that much in awhile. Great place...we will be back!!
Me and my father stayed 2 nights, and it was very quiet and away from the craziness of Hochatown. The remote destination was just what was needed in the wilderness.
Ping Pong table was in fair condition. Interesting bounces between the table, the ball and the paddles not being in great condition. Pool table not level. All this really added to the fun. We spent many many hours just playing on those two tables. Cabin was great!
Felt like home, but better! Adorable, comfortable, peaceful, clean, stocked, these hosts thought of everything. Beautiful view, secluded site, well worth the drive.
If you are looking for a quite get away with a great view of nature, this is a perfect place. The cabin is beautiful and secluded. We were able to book the cabin, last minute and received a quick response from the cabin host. She provided great direction and the cabin was ready early for us to check in a few hours early. We will try to stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay, in the 4 days we were there we never saw any other people. Lots of trees all around and very quiet. Didn't realize there was no WIFI and we didn't have phone reception but we got used to it and just hung out and chilled with each other.
Would recommend.
The cabin and grounds were great and we would like to return again in a month or two. Everything was fine except for the unfortunate fact that eating utensils were found to be dirty as were cooking pots/pans. Had to wash cups, plates and bowls before using them. The bath towels were a little sour smelling too. Overall, the cabin itself, inside and out was clean.

Hello! We are so sorry for the problem with the dishes. As far as we know, we haven’t had this issue before and will definitely make changes so it won’t be an issue in the future. Thanks for the notice! We look forward to having y’all return again and are so glad the rest of your stay and the cabin was enjoyable for y’all! We hope the next stay will be better!
We were so in love with this cabin. It's adorable, inside and out. It was out in the woods, away from all the stresses of the city. It's so quiet you can hear the wind blow and the crickets chirp. All the stars! You can see so many stars because there are no city lights drowning them out. We came here to celebrate our anniversary and it was one of the best vacation decisions ever. Did I mention this cabin smelled like cedar? Because it did and that was AMAZING to come home to. The fire place kept us toasty warm and provided such a wonderful glow to the little house. We had 1 house neighboring us but you'd never know it. They're far enough away that you didn't hear a peep. Also, it's just a quick trip down the road to Beaver's Bend for good food and outdoor adventures. We would definitely recommend this place. It was so easy to book it, check in, relax, and check out. We're so grateful that Olivia let us stay at her little cabin.
This was are second time staying here. We went sxs riding in the forest. We love the game room had a nice fire and some good pool games.
Great place will return again.
My husband and I with our three teen children stayed here for a weekend in mid October. The place was very clean and supplied everything we needed. The kids enjoyed playing pool in the game room. The master addition was perfect with a comfortable king bed and amazing views.
Great place to get away, The game room was a nice touch. We Stayed 3 nights and went SXS riding in the national forest. Very clean, and well kept.
We will stay here again!
My husband came to this cabin to reset and that is EXACTLY what we got to do.
The cabin is beautiful and clean, and I love that it was fully stocked with everything except for groceries.
The game room was so much fun and my husband and I even hiked around the mountain for a bit.
We didn’t mind that there wasn’t any cell reception because that gave my husband and I even more one on one time to spend with one another ❤️
We plan on coming back! Don’t think about it, just book it!!
The cabin and location were beautiful! The bed was very comfortable. We came up for the fall colors and we were not disappointed! The property is centrally located between Beaver's Bend and The Talimena Byway, so there is lots to see. The only drawback was that there was no television reception. We plan to visit again, so we will bring our Roku Stick and use the Hotspot on our phones when we want to watch TV. All in all, we had a great time and we will be back!
We had a fantastic stay quite secluded and cozy. Are definitely going to book another stay with them. All questions were answered quickly and host was so polite thank you for the wonderful weekend Olivia
Definitely be staying here again. A nice cabin with a awesome view of the surrounding mountains. Whether your hunting or just passing through I'd highly recommend this place.
This was the second time our family has stated at the Bear Cabin. It was as clean and beautiful as the first time we stayed. Our dog loves the back deck where she spent most of her time. Hope to stay here again.
Awesome Cabin in the woods! In other words... Picture perfect!
A very clean , rustic and romantic cabin in the mountains. The 'real deal" of what a cabin on a mountain should be.
The owner(s) did it right!
Awesome place to stay for peace and tranquility.
