This property is at the best location in Santa Fe - in the heart of the Acequia Madre district, blocks from Canyon Road and a short, downhill walk to Downtown Subscription - best lattes in Santa Fe. We brought along my brother and sister-in-law. The place is perfect for 2 couples. We also brought our poodle - loved the enclosed yard. This is the perfect property to introduce you to Santa Fe. We'll be back!
Away from the crowds but easily walkable to the Plaza and Canyon Road. Even shorter walk to great coffee/breakfast place. Short drive to Museum Hill. Very tasteful decoration. Wonderful courtyard.
Lovely stay at quiet and conveniently located home
Casa Verano was a perfect fit for our family’s stay in Santa Fe. The property is located on a cul-de-sac-like end of a long driveway in a very quiet residential area. The two bedrooms and two baths provided ample space for our family with two teenagers, and the outdoor patio area was a beautiful space for us to relax in. The property is within walking distance of downtown Santa Fe, but still maintains a very quiet feel. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Santa Fe. Thank you!
We really enjoyed this property - it is a beautiful, quiet retreat that I hope to visit again in the summer when the courtyard can be used to its full potential. We loved the various art and artifacts, details spent on decor, and lovely southwestern architecture. We did have trouble hooking up the tv components to use the speakers and dvd player, which would be my only suggestion for an upgrade. A good movie is a must for the kiddos to wind down after a long day walking the plaza and a bonus for those cold, cozy nights by the kiva. Thank you!
We (two friends meeting up for bi-annual get together) had a great time and appreciated the convenient and quiet location. The few problems reported (shower door fell off) were fixed quickly; some (mold/mildew in shower) we didn’t bother reporting but really should be fixed. VRBOs in general have become a little less personally welcoming (why not stock plenty of toilet paper for guests, welcome them with a little coffee pack and creamer or something, etc.,) but still I’d rate this as one of the most attractive, well-located, and comfortable homes I’ve had the pleasure to stay in. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
The house is interesting, great location. Parking at first seemed curious but we discovered parking behind the front of the house. The house is in a cul de sac with ALOT of other rentals (like 20 something numbered slots) . Since the house is dog friendly, I expected ‘dog friendly’ smells, etc. True. The overall experience we had is that a weird weather system came over Santa Fe. 50 degrees and rain in the morning and night. The heaters never came on, tho at one point I turned them up to 75. We lived under comforters the whole stay. A shower was a test of steel will. I texted the agent in charge on our 2nd morning about why the thermostats didn’t work, (stayed under 65 degrees the whole time) and he never responded. Then there was the swarm of ants all over the kitchen coming through the windows in the kitchen and then later throughout the house.Long and short: nice home, a bit shabby but no relief from the freezing indoor temp. No response from the company. We held on until our rent term was up.
Loved the location as it was so convenient to downtown Santa Fe. The radiant floor heating was appreciated after a long day of site seeing and being in the rain. The house had everything we needed and felt very cozy and inviting. The communication provided by the company was very informative and made the whole process very easy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone taking a trip to Santa Fe.
We absolutely loved our stay in the two bedroom two bath Perfect adobe home. The home was exactly what a perfect VRBO should be. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, personal touches, without having clutter and too many personal things out and about so you felt like you were invading someone’s home. The eclectic art all over the walls, the absolutely charming courtyard with ample seating, the tiny back courtyard with the crabapple tree we’re all favorites of ours. If you really need a large TV and lots of technology associated with it this is probably not your place but for us it was absolutely perfect! Great location very very quiet and private. We hope to get to stay again sometime .
Very comfortable place. Convenient to plaza.Felt homey and welcoming. Nicely decorated and cared for. Comfy beds and with rooms separated by the living space, offered privacy. Lots of outdoor patio space. Easy parking. Two areas to load or unload car from. Not a typical rental as it was well appointed and just a lovely place to stay. Only complaint is there was no coffee or filters available. Did have option of french press too. Would def recommend. There is one big step down into the kitchen in case that is a concern. No problem for my group. Enjoyed our stay.
