Located in Lake Champlain Islands at the Quebec border. The best of both worlds, enjoy the lake and everything the Champlain Islands have to offer, then skip over the border to enjoy Southern Quebec. There is a wonderful Fromagerie in Noyan Quebec, Vineyards in Hemmingford, or the Eastern Townships.

This home is ideal for those wanting to truly get away. The very private 3.8-acre property with over 325 feet of Direct Lakefront, is nestled by old-growth Blue Spruce Trees and beautiful gardens. There are sweeping views of the Green Mountains.

This Updated Mid-Century Modern Ranch home has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including a Spa Bath, that features a Hot Tub and Dry Sauna. There are two living rooms with a Wood wood-burning fireplace. A great media room with Ping Pong, a game table, and a Flat screen TV. There is a large Dining room. And last but not least, a wonderful chef's Kitchen with brand new Kitchen Aid appliances. Fabulous Decor!!!!

You will have all the luxuries of home while being on vacation. We have thought of all the details, so you can kick back and enjoy yourself. We offer a rowboat, dock, and boat mooring. You can launch an 18 ft boat right from the property.

We have been renting out this Lakefront Home for over 15 years. Each year we dedicate our time to upgrading and making the home the best it can be for guests. We feel very lucky to have a very high return rate. Our mission is to ensure our guests feel they are truly in a HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

Cancelation policy: We honor a full rental refund if there is a cancellation 60 days prior to check-in due to illness or family emergency. Please be mindful that large properties book rather quickly and can stay empty if there isn't enough time to advertise. Larger groups plan ahead, and it prevents us from renting if you cancel last minute.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Return the keys
Please empty fridge, dishwasher, place all laundry in mesh bags located behind bedroom doors.
Put trash and recycling in bins at the neighboring driveway. No sort recycling. Be sure all trash is secure in trash bags. Please leave ac set at 69, heat at 65
Please vacuum after your pets. We love being able to provide a space for your pets but please be diligent when it comes to outside cleanup and inside pet hair.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Such a relaxing get away! Lake views! Easy access to swimming and shore fishing. Wonderful location. Pet and children friendly. Hosts extremely accommodating and very responsive (the few times we needed to ask a question). Close enough to a store if needed but feels private and secluded! We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Private getaway right on the border.

The house was a little hard to find, about 10' from the Canadian border. It's a rambling, large house with a lot of room to get together or get away from each other. It was very clean, and the kitchen was very well-appointed. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, etc. And two fridges (which came in very handy). We spent most of our time outside in the back yard. Host was exceptionally responsive!

Beautiful Lake Champlain

We were welcomed to a sparkling clean spacious house with a bottle of wine, organic fruit and vegetables and cut flowers. Enjoyed swimming, kayaking and stand up boarding from the property’s shore.

Great spot!

House was very big and comfortable. It also was the cleanest house my family ever stayed in. We went ice fishing and caught a bunch of pike and perch. Would recommend this house to anybody and definitely would stay again.

Adult family vacation

Perfect location!! Home has everything you could possibly need. Many spots to hang out. Sun room overlooking the lake and view from the master bed is amazing. Loved lounging on the sunroom chaise with my 7mo old grandson and cuddling with my grandpuppies. So close to Montréal too!

Amazing week!

We had a wonderful week. The house was huge, clean and in a beautiful spot. It was everything we were looking for in a family vacation with siblings. We swam, fished, boated , played games and enjoyed fires. We loved morning coffee looking out at the lake and sitting lakeside each evening. Robert was communicative and helpful. They also left a lovely welcome basket that was so appreciated. Such a great home and a wonderful week!

Blue Spruce— great stay!

Hey! Robert’s house was a fun place to stay. The house is huge, decorations are really funky and cool, and the lakefront is really beautiful. It’s a cool part of the lake and good for boating. Plenty of space to comfortably sleep 12. We had a blast and it’s a great value. Would book again.

Beautiful place

This house was very comfortable for our large brood of 9 people and 3 dogs. We had a lovely stay. We were so grateful for the functioning central air during the hot and muggy week we were there. The kitchen looks fairly recently updated and works fine. The property is gorgeous, located smack on the Canadian border and on beautiful Lake Champlain. We would suggest that Robert spends some TLC on the outside, seeing to rotting wood in decks, weeding, and removing broken slabs of concrete from the beach area.

This house was perfect for a quiet family get away. The views of the lake are gorgeous, there's lots of space for people to spread out and find their own nook. Many different areas in the house to relax with a book, watch a movie, or chat. The kitchen is very well stocked - we cooked a full thanksgiving meal with what they had on hand. Ample bedding, and everything was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Perfect Lake House Retreat

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake house retreat. My brother got married ~1 mile from the rental. It was the perfect rental for us to be close to the wedding and enough rooms for our family. Robert was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. He also had every detail covered with instructions. Highly recommend!

Lovely Summer Getaway

We (family, in-laws, and kids) had a fabulous time reconnecting at Robert and Bob's house! We could always reach out with questions if they arose. The check-in process was very easy and we appreciated the welcome gifts. We loved the privacy and peacefulness the house provided. Despite some iffy weather, we had a blast. If we needed to stay indoors, we enjoyed spreading out and playing games, napping, or just reading in one of the many areas there were to chill. The location on the lake is beautiful and just truly a serene place to take in nature and unplug. We hope to return in the future!

Great getaway at a homey chalet

The chalet is very cozy, it has many carpets and sofas. It has rustic decorations and generally gives off a warm atmosphere, perfect for a winter getaway. The host, Richard, is very nice and responsive. We had a few questions and got them answered promptly by email and texts. He also let us check-in earlier which was very convenient as we were coming from Canada and needed to do groceries. The chalet felt pretty huge for our group of 11 people, there were many common areas, so it did not feel cramped at all. Main dining table was big enough to seat all of us. We particularly enjoyed the yard with the campfire, the lake and the sauna. The only downsides were that one of the toilets was not flushing properly as the tank was not filling up completely and would waste water, but there were 2 other toilets that worked well so it wasn't a big deal. Also I wish there was more pictures of the bedrooms and they were labelled more clearly since it was somewhat confusing in the listing. Overall, we had a great time though, and I highly recommend this chalet. Thank you Robert for the stay, and for the New Year champagne :).
