C&C Home -Rural, Private, Fire Place, Quality

Welcome to The C&C Home. Where you will enjoy your own yard, deck, BBQ and fire pit with wood. The suite is located 2.3 km (3 min) from downtown Nelson; is just far enough out of town that you feel like you are in the country, surrounded by tall trees, breathing in fresh mountain air. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare full, family and friends, sized meals. A gas fireplace provides the open living space with a cozy ambiance for relaxing evenings.

The Home is a new, single floor, free standing building. It sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 private bedrooms. It is located 9.3 km (7 min) from The Whitewater Ski hill access. The large Cedar Deck provides extra space to relax and socialize. At night the creek noises in the background create an ambiance that soothes. All water is supplied by our private well!! 100% Clean filtered mountain ground water.

There is lots of free parking. The living space has a 65' Smart TV and Free WIFI. Bring a USB key or a laptop, with movies and music, and plug it into the TV. Some Coffee and tea is provided. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, and all soaps/ detergents are included. Spices and cooking oil are stocked.

The suite is maintained by a professional cleaner and the snow removal is done by a plowing company. There is a Storage/ Pump house for secure Adventure Gear storage.

Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
Please do all dishes. Start dishwasher 1 hour before 11am check out.
We will put dishes away.
Clean up after yourselves. (BBQ cleaned after use, garbage and recycling organized, Outside area left organized)

We had a great stay in Nelson, kayaking was asuperb, loved the little beach we were recommended to go to! Fires at night were a nice relaxing way to wind down. The place was clean and comfortable and contact with our host was excellent and the drinking water at the place amazing!

My friends and I had a good time at this location. It was slightly further from Nelson downtown compared to other available properties on Vrbo but I found it easy to get around with a car rental. Corey was a very hospitable host and responded quickly to inquiries. I look forward to staying here again.

We had two nights in Nelson. Beautiful area of B.C. House was good for 3 couples. Nice to have a well stocked kitchen including coffee! Large washer and dryer (we didn’t use) but would be great for a longer stay. Communication with Corey was easy.

Great crash pad for Whitewater

Host was very helpful. This house accommodated two families of four and was the perfect spot for skiing at Whitewater. It was close to the hill, quiet, clean and well appointed. We will be back!

Tranquil and Cozy

Myself, husband, brother , sister in law and my parents stayed here, can't say enough great things. Corey is very welcoming and knowledgeable about what to do around Nelson ! The place was very clean, comfortable, cozy and worked perfectly for our stay ! Will definitely be going back ! Beds were comfortable and had everything needed to be able to cook our meals there ! BBQ was a great bonus as well !

Humble but nicely equipped place that fit the bill for our ski trip lodging

Owner Corey lives next door, was very helpful, and came over to introduce us to his place. One of our party of 4 slept on the sofabed, which was comfortable but in the main living space - not an issue for us. The location neighborhood is a bit unusual, but fine, and a few minutes drive from downtown Nelson. We would stay at Corey's place again.

My reviews are usually excellent. Yes. The arm of the sofa is broken from people sitting on it. That's why we bought a stool for people to use when putting on there shoes. So they don't sit on the couch arm. It still functions very well and is not visually offensive. The tubs may have a film from the harness in the water from our well. We will get our house cleaner to descale and bleach them. We know they are cleaned. This is the first person in over 2 years to say it doesn't look like the pictures. Most people are very happy with the place. It may be a little tight but it sleeps 10 easily with 3 bedrooms , a floor mattress added to a bedroom and a couch that pulls out; 3 queens, a king and a double. A little self cleaning is part of the reason the cleaning fee is affordable. The bbq has surface stains that don't come off. We've cleaned it since and it doesn't look like new, it does get dirty. All of this is in the description of the rental and house rules. We provide an affordable, clean Home for people to enjoy Nelson and the area. If their are any issues brought to our attention we fix them promptly. This is a 3 star rental, please don't expect perfection. We worked hard to provide our guests with a fully functioning home away from home. We're booked solid all summer and winter tourist seasons because of our efforts and reasonable price.

I have lived in the area for over 14 years. My amazing little man, Talon, born April 2019, is my pride a joy. I enjoy the beautiful summers and amazing winters here. We love the water the snow and the natural environment that is Nelson. Hosting people is a pleasure, as most are here to enjoy this fantastic area all year long. I get to meet so many great people and give them a safe and reliable place to stay.

Why they chose this property

We purchased a triple lot with a single home on the one side. In February 2019 we finished creating a vacation rental on the other side of the property. Since Nelson is such a great place to visit, we knew it was a great idea.

What makes this property unique

The Home is located just outside the city limits of Nelson, BC. This allow us to have outdoor fires on the property. The other side of the Street is a tree covered slop (No homes) which provides extra privacy and that feeling you are in Nature. At night, during the Summer, the temperature drops and fresh cool air comes in just after dusk. This allow the Home to cool off for a great nights sleep. The creek, that runs parallel to our property, creates a background sound that is soothing, especially during the spring months and during the fall rainy months. Since Nelson is considered a rain forest, there are a variety of trees. In the Fall the colors are beautiful. In the winter extra snow falls here since we are just elevated enough and just far enough from the lake to be in a snow belt. Its great for snowball fights, snow forts and building snow people.
