About this property
Wildwood Views, Yallingup hills
Summary:
Perfectly located for access to wineries, galleries, and beaches, Wildwood Views is a wonderful country retreat for a relaxed and casual holiday. Wind down in the peace and quiet of rural Yallingup Hills whilst being close to all the attractions the area has to offer.
The Space:
Wildwood Views is a spacious yet intimate 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It is a split level residence and an excellent choice for couples who are looking to enjoy the local vineyards and restaurants, or alternatively two families holidaying together. The perfect retreat also for artists or writers, or those who simply enjoy watching the many birds and other wildlife attracted by the native plants in the garden. This property beckons the timber doors to be opened out on to the expansive entertaining deck, to let the sunshine in and bush breeze flow through the house.
On the entry level of the house, are two generous bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with one single bed and one set of bunk beds. These rooms are also serviced with a well-appointed bathroom (bath, separate shower and vanity), laundry area, and separate WC.
The entry level also contains the light-filled, spacious lounge area, with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy a board game or sit back and watch a good movie. Ceiling fans keep it cool during summer, while a lovely fireplace warms everything up in winter; add in the reverse cycle air conditioning unit, and all seasons are accounted for to make your stay comfortable year-round. Along with the spacious, well-appointed country kitchen, this area has wide timber doors that open out to a large entertaining deck, with views of South West hardwoods blending into the tree top canopy offering spectacular rural valley vistas.
Descend to the lower split level and you will find the capacious master bedroom with a king bed, wardrobe, reverse cycle air conditioning and en suite with shower, WC and vanity. This bedroom also has direct access to its own private balcony. The large, fourth bedroom has 2 single beds and completes the lower level.
This holiday home is an enchanting haven of peace and serenity, idyllically situated for the perfect rural retreat.

Guest Access:
Please note that the driveway is not sealed and is on a steep incline in places. There are small, loose stones on the surface. Guests should take extra care when traversing this area on foot, especially if they are elderly or have any restricted mobility.
The whole home is set up for guest use only. Guests can enjoy the beautiful native bush gardens during their stay, with direct access from the firebreak for bush walks through the Wildwood valley. Please see the house manual for further detail
The Neighborhood:
Located on a beautiful bush block in the Yallingup Hills, you will have no option other than to relax and enjoy as reality melts away and the house wraps you in a big, quiet, nature-filled hug! Enjoy waking up to a serenade of bird song, watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets on the deck, peeking through the surrounding eucalypts and allow yourself to simply be. The house is a short drive from some of the region's most beautiful beaches, like Yallingup beach, Yallingup Aquarium, Smith's beach, and Injidup beach & natural spa. The area really comes to life in the summer months, as visitors flock to enjoy world class beaches, food, wineries, bike trails, and much more.
It's not just about summer here, despite its popularity thanks to the glorious weather; all year round, even when we may be less blessed with warm days and sunny skies, visitors can enjoy hikes, biking, surfing, off-roading, horse riding, cave tours, water sports, fishing, wine and beer tasting, and generally eating and drinking one's way around the area! Visit in spring to catch the whale migration and wild flower season, or in autumn to enjoy quieter beaches and excellent surf.
Please see the Guidebook for our personal recommendations on where to eat, drink, shop and what to see & do in this fabulous region. This list is by no means exhaustive, however, so please get in touch if you need any pointers ahead of your stay.
The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is relatively small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers are able to make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines; most wineries will have a good selection of options, including various sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if the flagship varieties aren’t your cup of tea. Many of these wineries are also home to phenomenal restaurants, and your dining options will range from full tasting menus to casual pizzas or grazing boards. If you have any particular restaurant on your wish list, we strongly recommend booking ahead all year round. In peak summer season (December-February), bookings are essential and may need to be made several weeks or months in advance. Please contact us directly if you would like tailored recommendations for your self-guided winery and/or brewery tour. If you have time, we highly recommend buying a ticket onto one of the many locally operated winery and brewery tour buses, for an unforgettable day out of excellent food and drink.
Getting Around:

We had a great stay at Wildwood. There were so many thoughtful touches such as a kindling and firewood neatly prepared for a fire (all we needed was a match!), ice in the freezer and much more.
We all enjoyed our stay - would recommend!
Great house for a family getaway. Peaceful and relaxing yet not too far away from activities. The games arcade was a hit with all ages. Would definitely recommend to friends and would love to come back in the colder weather to use the indoor fire and the outdoor fire pit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The property was well equipped, cosy, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing retreat. We really enjoyed the fireplace and wood provided. Located close to local attractions, in a beautiful nature setting. Great communication from the property management team. Thanks

lovely, clean house with amazing views
This house was a pleasure to stay in. It was clean and open and the facilities were great. The outdoor area was delightful too.
A little disappointed with HomeAway that I still haven't received my $750 bond back as we left the house in perfect order and cleaned and put everything away! It's been almost a week now.
Other than that, the property was great :)

Thanks for your review Tess and I'm pleased you had a lovely stay at Wildwood Views. I hope Homeaway were able to answer your questions regarding the realse of funds back to your account. We don't see this money at all and have no control over the refund process, and i'm sorry it put a "dampener" on your experience. Please be sure to give them your feedback.
Kind Regards
Rebecca

Relaxed Bush Setting
Pros - Relaxed bush setting and comfortable
Cons - Wood pile not covered so wet after winter rains; cold in master bedroom without appropriate heater; no screens for showers leaves a mess; kitchen cutlery draws would benefit from good clean after COVID shutdown
A beautiful house with and ideal location to access all the best parts of the South West. The kitchen was a bit old and had some odd smells, but nonetheless had absolutely everything we needed. A nice location for a getaway.
Location perfect for a getaway
House was above and beyond what we were expecting clean & comfortable
The kids loved waking up every morning to look for wildlife & going for a bush walk
Thank you
We really cannot fault the house at all. Such a clean, well kept and cozy house for our stay. The house is secluded enough that you have your own privacy which is a great advantage. The table tennis table is an awesome addition too.
One recommendation we thought might be helpful would be some fly screens on the doors to allow fresh air to flow through the house without the bugs coming in. Other than that, it was perfect!
Thank you
This place was everything I had hoped for. Clean, spacious, all the essentials you would need provided for by the owner. They thought of everything. Great location for all the wineries and delights of the south west. Peaceful with only the sounds of the birds. Would definitely go back.
