The Garden House sits on a beautiful property with gorgeous views. The home has very comfortable furnishings and full kitchen and grill outside. The owners are very welcoming and attentive to a traveler’s questions or needs. A welcome book provides all the necessary information for the stay.
What a beautiful and peaceful spot! The cottage is very comfortable - we especially appreciated the comfortable bed. We loved being so close to the creek and the hikes/walks we could go on just outside the door. Diane was a very responsive and helpful host. We will recommend this place to friends and hope to return ourselves.
Beautiful property, very private setting. The hiking trail on the property was well laid out and quite challenging and scenic. Cell service (we were on Verizon) is spotty at best at the house and around the property, so working remotely would be a challenge. Everything was perfect for an off-the-grid getaway!

I'm glad you enjoyed hiking on our 250 acre farm, one of our favorite activities! And I'm happy to say that we will finally have fiber optic WiFi by the end of the year at the Garden House...so connectivity should be much better!
This property was very private as described. There is A/C upstairs but no A/C downstairs. There is also no fan in the bathroom. The property was clean with the exception of several spider webs.It was cute and unique but I doubt we'd stay again just because we would prefer full A/C, wifi and television.
Beautiful, peaceful location. I did goof. i didn't read the house description very carefully and missed the part about the steep stairs. My cousin and I are elderly and accessing the attic bedroom was too big a challenge for us. But had we been younger and more spry, it would have been perfect. Well kept little cottage with a delightful history. Front porch and the cicadas and night falling was heavenly!

I'm sorry our attic bedroom stairs were not suitable for your visit—safety is important and even though there is a safety railing they are a steep climb. Thank you for your kind comments about the Garden House setting and the sweet front porch. We do have a second farm stay property with no stairs at all, all on one level should you wish to return. And, yes, the night sights and sounds are some of my favorite features!
The home was so peaceful and sleep well. To have all of us disconnect, just enjoy each other, and nature. We walked almost all the parks and property around the area. Great family bounding time.
This was very remote and private, it was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space and land to roam. Beautiful stream and surroundings! Lots of fun things to do, games, puzzles and books to read.
We really enjoyed the cottage and how clean and well equipped it was. We had good contact with the owner and would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be staying here again.
