Vacation in Wellington

We recently spent 10 days at the Colorado House. Leanne was a very gracious host and responded promptly to questions. The pool and outdoor space is very pretty and the large fenced yard was great for our 2 dogs. The house is older and could use some updating, but the furniture and beds are comfortable. The focus of the house is the great room. It's lovely and huge with very high ceilings. The lighting is indirect and high so the room does get quite dark at night. The addition of some end table lamps would be perfect. The kitchen is very tiny with just enough room for one, but functional. The dining table is in a dark corner of the great room with no light, making it quite difficult to eat a meal, or sit there at night, but there are many very good restaurants within just a few minutes drive so dinner out was fine with us...and there's an outdoor table for daytime. Renters should be aware that the patio and pool are shared. This was not a problem for us as the occupants of the other house during our stay were friendly. The property would be great for a large group or family interested in renting both houses. There was no info provided regarding things about the house such as TV operation, etc. or restaurants in the area, which is unusual for a vacation rental but, again, Leanne is very quick to respond to any questions. Overall, we had an enjoyable and relaxing vacation at the Colorado house.

Great location!

Very convenient, spacious, very clean, comfortable, safe neighborhood, peaceful and the pool is lovely. Only thing lacking is kitchen is very poorly stocked if you wanted to cook your own meals.
