About this property
Elouera Units 1 & 2 are in Eurong Second Valley on beautiful Fraser Island
Elouera Units are located in Eurong Second Valley on World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. Second Valley is a quiet residential area approximately 200m south of Eurong Resort. The entire Valley and Resort are contained within the electric dingo barrier which is safe for kids and adults. Just a short stroll to the beach or resort for supplies if needed (fuel, food, bakery, restaurant and hotel). Elouera is in the perfect position to take advantage of access to the southern lakes, Lake McKenzie, Central Station, and north to Eli Creek, the Maheno Wreck, Indian Head, Champagne Pools all the way up to Sandy Cape Lighthouse. Use your 4WD to explore the hundreds of kilometres of scenic 4WD tracks throughout the Island. Enjoy the local wildlife with a huge variety of birds, whales, the occasional dingo and exceptional fishing. Elouera has 2 units sleeping 12 in total - 6 Adults and 6 Children Unit 1 sleeps 8, with 1 x QS bed, 1 x Double, 4 x singles and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is full size, complete with crockery, glassware, cutlery, saucepans, frypans etc. with a full size fridge, gas stove with oven, dining room (seats 8), and a large lounge. Ceiling fans throughout. Unit 2 sleeps 4, with 1 x QS bed, and 2 single bunks and 1 bathroom. The kitchen has a gas stove and oven, full size fridge and crockery, cutlery, glassware, saucepans, frypans etc. Dining area and sitting room. Both units are fully screened, have TVs and are connected by a very large deck with loads of Outdoor dining furniture and a gas BBQ. Ideal for family meal gatherings. There is a laundry with automatic washing machine for guest use on sunny days. The units are totally “off grid”, where we supply all our own power, water and sewer. Needless to say there are a few things to be aware of in this regard eg: no oils, fats or rubbish to be disposed of on site, no hairdryers, coffee machines or electric frypans, or microwaves that would overload the solar power supply. Generally there are no issues as long as these rules are adhered to. You will need to provide your own linen, towels and bath mats. Pillows, doonas and extra blankets are supplied. We provide this accommodation so that many can enjoy the natural and unique beauty of Fraser Island. All we ask, is that you have respect for the property, the Island and it’s people. Truly one of the most beautiful places on the Planet. The local Butchulla People have 3 laws: 1. What is good for the land comes first. 2. Do not touch or take anything that does not belong to you. 3. If you have plenty, you must share

Hi We are Bill and Cally and we love Fraser Island. We have owned Elouera Units for approximately 8 years. We live in Hervey Bay and love the outdoors and especially exploring the island.
Why they chose this property
Bill has been coming to Fraser Island for over 20 years and we decided to buy a property that we could call our own.
