Please note when booking through VRBO: the price calculator only shows what is due to VRBO. Sanibel Holiday requires an applied deposit of 20% of the base rent rate plus all rent taxes plus the non-refundable $50 reservation fee which totals $55.75 with the required Florida taxes. ***Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are approximately 24 restaurants now open, as well as a few shops including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at your property and throughout the island. Construction noise from interior work in adjoining or nearby units. Some amenities in your complex may be closed. Pickle Ball & Tennis Courts construction began on 12/4/23 with a targeted completion of 3/16/24. ***The pool is now open and the elevators in building 4 are now up and running***

Loggerhead Cay #421 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo conveniently located on the ground level of this family-friendly complex. Step directly from your screened-in lanai to the serene courtyard to make your way to the complex pool and direct Gulf access. The condo has 3 flat screen TV’s, Wi-Fi, DVD/CD player, and an open kitchen perfect for entertaining. Also provided for your your convenience is beach equipment and 4 beach towels. Complex amenities include: a heated pool, elevators, gas grills, tennis court and shuffleboard. Loggerhead Cay is a 168 unit horseshoe-shaped complex with an interior courtyard with beautifully landscaped lawns, walkways, palm trees and flowering plants. This is a non-smoking property.

And they even sent useful information on supplies we would need including the best bug repellent! We had a great time!We are happily working on dates for our next vacation!

This Is Really a Tough Review

First let me say the Peppercorns (the owners) have a lovely condo. I’ll also add how great Sanibel Holiday is managing the unit. The owners and mgrs are Top Notch. I’m going to try to be fair to all since 35%-40% (at least) of our time was impeded by hurricane Helene as that wasn’t the owners’ or mgmt company’s fault. But I’m doubtful we’ll stay at Loggerhead Cay again because of issues I have with the condo assn. Chris, the maintenance man for Sanibel holidays, came by prior to Helene to put a temp fix on a drainage issue that has affected the unit for some time. Byt the assn wasn’t happy with that temp fix even though we were the ones inconvenienced by large hoses going from the a/c to the guest shower across the hallway floor. No, they chose to break up concrete sidewalks to perform a more permanent fix. The result was, my partner and I, with many physical disabilities and on canes having to find a way to leave our property to get to our car since gaping recesses were left in the sidewalk and caution tape was strung two deep in each direction. I thought they could wait three days until we left to do that. Chris, Tammy, Angie, and Stacy with Sanibel Holiday knew how stressed we were & gave us a gift card for dinner which we thought was incredible. Until we got home and found that the perm fix led to the floor in half of our unit being covered with water. An A++ rating to the owners and mgrs but only a cool rating to the condo assn.

The only negative thing is that the furniture (couch in the living room) is outdated and it either needs cleaning or replacement.Overall, we enjoyed the stay and had a wonderful vacation.

Kitchen was well equipped, beds where very comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra sheets. Lots of beach towels & bathroom towels. Air conditioning worked very well, cold A/C is so important, especially when the temperature outside in in the 90's. It was an excellent stay at Loggerhead Cay unit 421. The owner as well as the management company took care of every detail to assure we had a comfortable stay.

Condo was not very clean once arrived my wife had to actually clean bathroom kitchen counters all that should be taken care of before we come in overall the furniture was a little faded but the state was excellent as it always is in Sanibel

Great stay!

Had lots of beach toys and a wagon. Very open and airy! Only problem were the sliding doors... they would stick a lot but it wasn’t bad because we had little children and we would hear them when they opened the door!
