Waterfront Hide-A-Way Lodge on Big Sam!

Let the city life melt away at this spectacular hide-a-way on the big waters of Sam Rayburn Lake! This secluded 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath has all the makings of a true lodge retreat feel. The million dollar views will rejuvenate and inspire! See deer strolling and eagles flying as you sit on one of two porches overlooking lakeside. Almost every room in this house has a view. Spread out on this private haven to roam, hike or fish on the sandy beaches below, or just lay back relax! House is also for sale as a turnkey rental property. Please inquire with owners.

Downstairs has a master king bedroom and queen guest bedroom. Upstairs has a bunk room with four double beds, another “second” master king bedroom and double futon in the gameroom. Full bath upstairs with tub and shower down, as well as a half bath down. Dining room will accommodate 10 people, along with seating for 4 at the bar and six on the patio. Enjoy a propane fire pit on the porch as well as a wood burning fire pit below. Foosball table, games, Satellite TV and DVD players are at your disposal. Families, hunters, fisherman all welcome to this picturesque spot on Big Sam!

Beautiful big home with amazing views! Very comfortable with room for everyone. The fire pit on the back deck overlooking the lake was perfect! The owner was extremely accommodating and kind. Highly recommend!

Everything g was great on this trip. Few minor things that could improve such as trail to lake is steep and the wood on stairway is very sketchy and broken and the water well wasn’t the greatest. The view was spectacular and the house was wonderful.

Relaxing Family Holiday Gathering

Perfect winter gathering spot for family with plenty of space both indoors and out. Spectacular view of the lake! Enjoyed cooking hot dogs and s'mores outdoors on the fire pit. Only made the trek down the bluff to the lake once though. I bit tricky for the older folks!

Only one thing wrong

The only issue we had was the road… Hauling boats in and out twice a day got old. Had to go slow due to road conditions and not wanting to throw mud/ rock on boat. Only other very minor issue was the water pressure in down stairs shower. Other than that everything was great. If that road was paved I would never stay anywhere else on the lake!

Fantastic View

We had a family of 9 adults and 7yr and 4yr old. Plenty of room. Beds very comfy. The decor was over the top. The VIEW is fantastic!! Could just sit and watch the eagles soar. The trip down to the lakeshore is a bit much, thankful for the walking sticks and no rain(not to slippery yet). In the summer, I'm sure would be nice for swimming nice beach area. The owners were quick to respond if any problems, roku not working and needing a light bulb. I havent used VRBO much, so didn't realize needing paper goods. There are plenty of dishes and cooking utensils if you dont mind filling the dishwasher and emptying. We as a family highly recommend this piece of heaven!

This property immediately spoke to us when we found it - to have a million dollar view on such a wonderful lake is worth sharing! We love the fact that its considered a nature lover's lake, so it's not littered with a sea of boat docks, tons of people and no trash- so serene and peaceful!

What makes this property unique

This waterfront property sits high above to receive maximum views of the open waters of Big Sam! It is also filled with deer walking right through our yard, as well as eagles nesting right next door! Lots of room to roam, explore and to get away from it all-
