¡Pura Playa! Home, Cart & Private Pool! Dogs ok!
This 2014 built stilt home is loaded - pool, bbq pit, corn hole boards, and ping pong on the ground floor, with a spacious living room and sleeping for eight upstairs. Your family or friends will enjoy making memories as you live the good life by the pool or at the beach!
Master bedroom has a queen bed with private bath and the second bedroom also has a queen bed. The kids' room has a bunk bed with trundle. We have plenty of room for the entire family!
July 2025 update: FALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER - GET YOUR DATES NOW. September and October are our favorite times of the year (less crowds and less heat!) The pool can be heated from November through April, so If there's a cold front, turn on the private heated pool! YOU CONTROL THE TEMPRATURE FOR THE HEATED POOL. We are offering CRAZY FAST internet (200mbps) . The restaurants/beaches are fully open and operational and all is quiet on our little street now with construction around us done!
New golf cart stuff: We are now utilizing JOY Cart Rentals to provide you a cart. The golf cart fee is included in your total booking cost, but you can now opt out of the cart (reducing your booking cost by $50/day). The golf cart is automatically included in your booking (the admin fee), but just let us know if you want to opt out.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Remove & dispose all trash - no trash on the ground!
log out of any streaming apps on the TV
fill up golf cart with premium gas & wash it off
Park golf cart in garage (don't forget to close the garage!)
hang golf cart key on the anchor in house hallway
turn the A/C to 78 in the summer (winter, set the heater to 65)
Lock garage door & front door
leave the exteriors lights on
tidy up the exterior chairs/loungers, and put metal chairs back into the garage please!

Hi - I'm Leslie, and with my husband Jeremiah, we recently purchased Pura Playa as our second home in Port A. We are 5th generation Texans (I'm from Carrizo Springs, he's from Sterling City), who for the past 25 years have lived in Round Rock.
Our family has been coming to Port A for years - I came when I was a little girl (don't ask the year). When we had our children, we would summer here in a cramped, rusty but awesome travel trailer. We helped clean up our neighbors homes after Harvey. This town, and the Texas Coast, is our home away from home!
My husband is an avid fisherman and can help you with the hotspots, too! He loves to fish Redfish Bay, Aransas Bay, and all the way down to the Land Cut (he told me to write this).
I love to head down to the beach right at daybreak for some quiet time. In the evenings, at least once per trip, is a a family tradition of "shark in the dark!"
There's nothing better than an evening with those who you love while feeling the ocean breeze.
