Guesthouse. Private and detached from main house, located on 12, heavily treed, acres. Very secluded and peaceful with lots of wildlife in a quiet neighborhood. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Starry nights. Will need transportation, but central to everything: A quick, easy 4 mile drive to downtown Boerne; Boerne Lake 2.2 miles; Luckenbach 23 miles; Sisterdale 9 miles; Fredericksburg 30 miles; Bandera 21 miles; Fiesta Texas/ Six Flags 19 miles; Seaworld 27 miles; Comfort 12 miles; Kerrville 27 miles; Historic Camp Verde 21 miles; Guadalupe River State Park 16 miles; San Antonio River Walk 34 miles. There’s a free ranging horse and 3 outside cats on property. There’s also a dog and chickens behind fenced-in backyard at the main house. The property is rugged and uneven. Please use caution. Great walks on property and, if in need of a little more exercise, on the main road - aprox 3 miles RT.

Love everything about this property, from the super friendly cat that greets you at the door to the wondering horse, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely stay there again. It’s a perfect for 3 to 4 people and the location is way off the beaten path which was great.
Met our host who was very friendly and accommodating.
Really loved the place property. Horse and cat were friendly. Plenty of towels. The only problem I could remotely see was instead of a light in bedroom (although very lovely) a ceiling fan would have been nice. Thanks for the praceful setting.

Anniversary getaway
The stay was good. We were surprised with a heart shaped cake for our anniversary. That was awesome! The only downside we had was the bed. Not sure to call it a bed. There was no box spring. Whatever the "bed" was was hard and on top on milk crates. Other than that all was well for the price. The owner was great to communicate with and provided excellent instructions to the property.

Hi. Thanks for your review. I’m sorry you found the bed hard. The crates below is for extra storage (saw it on pin interest haha😁) Guests that stay longer appreciate that fact.
It was fun living among the cattle, deer and horses. The apartment was satisfactory. There were a few minor things they could do to make the property appear more polished. Right now it’s furnished with bits and pieces. The pots and pans are older, stainless is mismatched, as is crockery, and there are no glasses that hold more than 6-7 ounces. We bought new ice trays b/c those provided were broken. A notebook with maps, names of local restaurants with hours, directions to the grocery, etc. would be a nice touch.
ONLY 5 MINUTES FROM TOWN BUT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. EVERY DAY WE WOULD SEE SMALL HERDS OF DEER ALONG THE DRIVEWAY. THERE WAS A HORSE AND CATS THAT WERE ALSO VERY FRIENDLY. THE OWNER WAS EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH AND QUICK TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS EVERYTHING NEEDED TO PREPARE SIMPLE MEALS WAS THERE AND GROCERIES NEARBY. THE LOCAL TOWN WAS VERY FRIENDLY WITH MANY INTERESTING PLACES TO EAT. I DO NOT THINK I'VE EVER HAD A MORE RESTFUL WEEK. THE ONLY BAD PART WAS HAVING TO LEAVE AND GO HOME.
Nice location that's close to Boerne, but secluded and private. Management responsive and very helpful/friendly. Had a wonderful time here with my girlfriend!
