ABOUT: "The Cottage" is Minneapolis' 5-star accommodation located in a quiet, safe South Minneapolis neighborhood with its small town vibe and Minnesota Nice attitude. The Cottage is a one-level-living home — NOT a condo, duplex or apartment — and includes one garage space. Walk to Lake Nokomis, Minnehaha Falls, locally-owned restaurants, breweries, bars, bakeries, coffee and fun shops. The Cottage is sandwiched between our beloved Minnehaha Falls/Park & Lake Nokomis and is situated in one of the VERY most popular locations in Minneapolis/St Paul. The Cottage is perfect for couples, professionals and those traveling solo— especially women.

LOCATION: Close to the Mall of America & major highway thoroughfares makes getting around Minneapolis/St Paul and surrounding suburbs almost effortless. The Greenway and an intricate system of paved bicycle paths is just out the door, which intertwines through Minneapolis/St Paul and the surrounding suburbs. METRO TRANSIT: Is one block away with access to The Light Rail/Blue line, which whisks guests to US Bank Stadium, Twins Stadium, Downtown, MOA & MSP. Guests can switch to The Green Line to access St Paul.

The Cottage is designed by the Norwegian owner with clean, contemporary, functional Scandinavian influences. Vaulted ceilings, sun tunnels and unique lighting add a bright, open, spacious feel. The Cottage hosts one bedroom w/ queen bed and high quality mattress. The living area hosts a comfortable sofa, chair and large television with all the channels including FREE Netflix & Amazon movies. A fully-equipped kitchen hosts a kitchen island w/seating for 2, refrigerator, range, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher and pantry. There is also a desk with 2 work stations. A compartmentalized closet has plenty of space for guest's belongings. The spa-inspired bathroom hosts a shower w/grab bars, heated bathroom/fan, large lighted mirror, storage cabinet and washer/dryer.

Note: The Cottage is ONE-LEVEL living with NO STEPS, which makes it convenient for everyone -- especially those with physical limitations.

THE NOOK: The Cottage also includes "The Nordic Nook", which provides a private separate detached heated/cooled space adjacent to The Cottage where guests can do yoga, artwork or crafts, watch television, work or take a nap. It is perfect for couples traveling together who may want time alone.

The Cottage consistently provides a clean, safe, comfortable “home away from home” experience with a Minnesota-Nice attitude.

- Basic Essentials: Quality heat & air conditioning. In unit washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron & board, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, quality towels, linens, additional bedding.

-Parking Essentials: Parking is located directly next to The Cottage or in the garage w/electronic opener. Guests may also park on the street.

-Kitchen Essentials: Range, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, knives, kitchen tools, electric kettle, toaster. Additional kitchen tools/equipment are available upon request.

- Pantry Essentials: "Welcome coffee" (Keurig pods), sugar, salt, pepper, spices.

- Bonus: "The Nook" is a separate, private space adjacent to The Cottage and includes a television, sleeper sofa, table, fireplace & kitchenette.

- Coffee Essentials: 2 Keurig Coffee Makers: One in The Cottage, one in The Nook.

- TV Essentials: Two large, “smart” televisions w/FREE Netflix & AMAZON movies. One in The Cottage, one in The Nook. The BOSE stereo speaker in The Cottage enhances the entertainment experience and allows guests to listen to their own music via Bluetooth.

- Paper Essentials: Toilet tissue, paper towels, coffee filters, Kleenex-style tissues.

- Soap Essentials: Shampoo, body soap, laundry & dish soap, dishwasher pellets, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray.

- Fun Essentials: Two bicycle rental stations are within 1 block of the property. Boats, canoes and lake toys are available to rent close by at Lake Nokomis and Minnehaha Falls/Park, which are both within walking distance.
