Perfect amount of space and comfort for a great weekend getaway to the fingerlakes. The owners were awesome and provided a great personalized experience including a tour down to their lake access!
We enjoyed this cabin so much. It was beautiful and the host Jim was so nice and hospitable! Beautiful view of the lake and close proximity to a bunch of great wineries!
Great property close to some fabulous wineries and breweries. Owners had lots of great recommendations and enjoyed meeting the other cabin guests who were all very friendly.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful - very cozy stay that allowed us to bring our dogs. Perfect location close to dining and wineries - Cheryl was extremely kind and accommodating. A++ will stay again!
Nice property that is next to (2) other cabins that share a fireplace. On route 89 so can get a little loud with traffic but it's no bad. I prefer a little softer mattress as for me it was too firm.
The cabin was beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. The property owner greeted us our first evening and gave us a Tour of the property and lake area.
Highly recommend this property.

Response from VrboOwner on 27 July 2024
Dana's group were five-star-plus-plus guests - we couldn't ask for better guests to stay in the cabin. They were very careful with the property and left the cabin in meticulous condition at check out. They even left a parting gift - a coffeemaker for future guests! We welcome them all back to stay any time in the future.
About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Santos
My husband Jim and I moved to Cayuga Lake in 2002 - he from Pine City NY and me from Hawaii. We both are naturally drawn to water, so Cayuga Lake was our chosen place. My husband has 3 grown children and he retired in 2012. Now our children are of the four-legged sort (we have friendly tale-wagging dogs and we invite you to bring your dogs along). We live directly across the street from the cabin and we are always available if you need anything. We take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable vacation property, and it is important to us that you have a wonderful vacation experience. We want to ensure that you’ll make memories here that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Why they chose this property
We chose Cayuga Lake for its natural beauty, the variety of things to see and do in close proximity, yet also the tranquility of country living. We envisioned building a cabin here so we could share this unique area with others, providing a comfortable retreat for our guests. We designed and built the cabin as a contemporary modern space yet with rustic charm.
What makes this property unique
Situated in a sunny field adjoining the woods, this log cabin is a tranquil retreat. It is very spacious for 2 – 6 people with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and 2 private bedrooms. It is impeccably clean and is well equipped with most necessary items. The cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Nearby are hiking trails, biking paths, and quaint shops. The cabin rental costs less per person than many hotels, plus you have your own private space. The radiant floor heating warms the cabin to a cozy temperature on cool nights. It is also air conditioned for your comfort in summer months.
