Completely remodeled 3 bedrooms, 2 bath house in Marathon - the middle of the Florida Keys, on Mile Marker 51, only one hour to Key West. OUR WEEKS ARE SATURDAY - SATURDAY. The check-in, check-out day is Saturday, no mid week check-in or check-outs. Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. Direct access to the ocean, with 37 feet of dockage. House set up for fishing and relaxing. We have a fish cleaning station with full electric and plumbing, a freezer is provided for your bait as well as an industrial ice maker at your disposal. Just minutes to the reef and off-shore fishing. You can catch yellowtails, snappers, grouper, sailfish, dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo, tuna , king mackerel and others. Beautiful snorkeling and SCUBA diving. Minutes to Sombrero Beach and Bahia Honda State Park. Close to the seven mile bridge for access to the Gulf side, and back-country fishing.
You'll enjoy our colorful house, with our beautiful heated pool with a huge 7 ft JACUZZI for your relaxation and comfort and our nice TIKI HUT with a picnic table and its own TV. The house has all new furniture and central A/C. We provide towels, and linens. We have a stainless steel BBQ, twin burners fryer for outdoor cooking. Our home has Premium cable TV Service, DVD's, High speed WIFI Wireless Internet, a 65' Flat Screen HDTV in the living room, plus each bedroom has it own TV/DVD. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds and is a sofa bed on the living room. We have a full kitchen with new appliances, microwave, plates, pots, pans, toaster, coffemaker, blender and utensils for your convinience.
There is parking in front of the house for 5-6 cars and a boat trailer. The boat ramp for launching your boat is on the bay side on 33rd street, the boat ride to the house is 10-15 minutes. HAVE AVAILABLE FOR RENT 2 KAYAKS AND 2 BICYCLES. Our address is 1016 w 75th st ocean, Marathon FL 33050. We have been renting the house since 2006. All our customers are very happy, we have a lot of repeat families that are coming back every year. You will be very happy with our house. Book your vacation early this year.

The house was well equipped and well laid out! Everything was updated nicely! The pool and hot tub were very clean and relaxing. We bring in a 20Foot boat and hand plenty of room to dock and the fish cleaning station was impeccable! The commercial ice machine and deep chest freezer were a huge bonus as well.

Exploring the Keys

Marathon is in the middle of the Keys, and this place is in the middle of Marathon. From here, we enjoyed Key West, Key Largo, and everything Marathon has to offer! The place is well-stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We grilled fresh fish and ate it in the tiki area. We played pool and air hockey. The beds were comfortable too. Great place to stay!

Excellent Place to Stay

The location and house was very nice. There were definitely some maintenance issues that need to be resolved (pool heater, pool/hot tub lighting, dryer, etc.) or it would have been a 5 star review. We still had an excellent time and the house was everything we expected. Would stay there again.

Lives up to its name!

My adult kids, ages 21 and 24, thoroughly enjoyed this house. We used the pool and hot tub every evening and some mornings. The kids enjoyed the pool table. We felt at home from the minute we arrived until we left.

Great house

Great house To stay in me and my family I have stayed in several homes in Marathon. This was one of the best,We always rent a boat and this was a great house for that easy access to the Atlantic straight out the back door, the tiki hut the pool the hot tub and the ice maker is a game changer we really enjoyed our stay would not hesitate to return thank you for an awesome vacation!!

Great family vacation home in Marathon

Great house and location for a family with kids. It had everything we wanted for relaxing, cooking and eating together. The beds and sheets/ bedding were very comfortable. Decorations were cute and “keys” like. My kids loved the pool/ air hockey table, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and looking for fish in the canal. There is also the best park for kids on the same street. Marathon has great fishing, an aquarium encounter place to visit, Sombrero beach and great restaurants.

Keys Perfection

Our time enjoying Manny’s & Elena’s home was wonderful. The property is spotlessly clean inside and out and beautifully appointed with everything my family needed for a great week in Marathon. It’s a treat to check into a house and find everything you might need for fun, including beach towels, pool floats, and beach chairs. Manny and Elena both were extremely responsive and helpful from the day we booked through the day we checked out. My husband and I and our two children (12 & 16) had a great time. Everyone agreed we would happily stay in this home again. The pool and hot tub are particularly outstanding. Plenty of room for everyone.

Great family fishing house

Owners were very nice! This house is in a good location. Very quiet. Enough room in driveway for boat trailer and truck. Very nice having the canal where we could keep our boat. The kids loved coming “home” and jumping in the pool while we were cleaning the boat. The ice machine and bait freezers worked great! They had all kinds of tools and propane for grilling with lots of outdoor space. It actually was the perfect little fishing house for our family. We even loved that they had a pool table/air hockey game inside (especially when it rained all day one day). That was a nice bonus to the house. We would recommend renting this house and will possibly stay here again if it’s available!

Great Vacation Home

We loved our time at Best Marathon House!! Our group consisted of two couples and one infant. The location and layout was perfect for all of us. We traveled from Maine to Miami and then an easy drive to the house, same with the return a week later. Everything worked, was clean, and true to pictures during booking. The house is very user friendly. The Outside space was amazing for us, we enjoyed the Spa & Heated pool everyday. A big plus for our group was the dockage situation, we had a 26' center console for the week. Very well built seawall dockage system with fresh water house, ice machine for filling coolers. Access to the Atlantic was under 5 min, good marked channel. All of us would/ will rebook the house and have also told friends about this great find. This was a wonderful experience and highly recommend to a group, family, or two couples with children.

We first came to the island of Marathon in the Keys in 2003 for a Fishing Trip vacation with our family and fell in love with the beautiful atmosphere. We decided to buy a vacation rental there so that we could visit occasionally and provide a lovely home for other families to make great memories.

Why you chose Marathon Key: It’s a great place for fishing and there is a lovely beach not far from the house. It’s not far from the liveliness of Key West and Miami, but is distant enough to provide a lovely piece of tranquil Paradise.

While staying at our property, you can relax in our heated pool, the SPA is our favorite place. You are a short distance to Key West, where you can visit numerous museums, restaurants, water tours and many many other activities.
