After a full day of exploring Ala Moana's urban grid, you can wind down on the wide lanai, or melt into the comfort of your very own cloud-like bed for a full recharge tomorrow. The Ala Moana Condo is located just a few steps away from the building the Ala Moana Shopping Center, the Hawaii Convention center, Ala Moana Beachpark, and Magic Island. There are several bus stops near the Ala Moana Condo. There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby to explore Honolulu.
The Ala Moana Condo building offers a pool, gym, sauna, mini shop, and even Starbucks, at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in the Ala Moana area. Guests may leave their trash right outside their doors for Housekeeping to remove and dispose of. Please place any and all trash in bags that will not leak or cause damage to the hallway carpets and walls.
Important!! *Every single guest needs to pay Daily Resort fees ($30 x #of nights), and Key Issuance Fee ($50). Tax is exclusive. This payment is for Ala Moana Hotel. These fees are included in the total amount. By paying these fees, you may access the hotel pool, sauna, and gym. However, it does not permit access to room service or any other hotel services. !!IMPORTANT!! The exterior works project of Ala Moana Hotel Condo began. The working time is from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Frida, except holidays. *All lanai doors will be secured to only open 4" for ventilation purposes. Begin in December 1st 2022 and Complete in March 31st 2023 (Subject to change). They will be returned to full operation when the work is done. This is for safety purposes. View: Partial Ocean, Ala Moana Beach Park, and City Parking: No (There is parking space in the hotel basement, for $30 as of July 2019. Please check the price and availability yourself.) Regarding the $50 fee, we have messaged you on Vrbo that we charged you for the hanger and unit instructions that were taken out of the room by you when you checked out. We received a call from the hotel front desk that you have accidentally taken out these items after your check out and handed them to the front desk. As we had to send out a staff to retrieve these items to prepare for our next guest, we have charged you the $50 fee for the labor cost.

The host failed to include my name on a list for day of check in. I arrived and were told I weren't in their system. i had to call owner and ask them to email an okay for MY name. This took about an hour. i WAS tired from trip and unnecessary waiting. Host never called to see if i WAS okay. Also there was an issue with a room entry light staying on all night. Could not turn off. Who sleeps with lights on all night? Bedding was torn, carpet was dirty and pillows were flat.

The property was in an ideal location and close to many restaurants and beaches. The room was very clean and the hotel it was in was very nice. Access to the amenities was appreciated. The only downside to this stay was having to pay an arm and a leg for parking per day, especially since we stayed for so long. overall this was a great stay that made out time in Oahu amazing!
Clean, convenient, secure location and property. Don't like resort fees charged by Waikiki properties to further their profits.

The hotel room was clean, accessible to the shopping mall, walking distance to the Convention Center and the hotel staff were accommodating.
The only downside was the view from the room as it was a parking view and not an ocean view, as shown in the picture.

Have everything i needed but not enough towels for two peopme
Conveniently located with in a major hotel. This unit is privately owned within a hotel. The unit is older, does not have hotel room accommodation, like daily room service. Room is older and starting to show its age. Superficial looked clean but when looking at the details it was quite dirty. The bottom of the shower curtain was so dirty, should be replaced!
The only issue we had with this property was that the toilet's water tank wouldn't fill up properly and would spray water everywhere and make a huge mess. Also, there isn't really any room service because it's a separately managed unit, but it's a great bargain compared to other properties

so so room with poor management
room was an absolute mess when i checked in. overflowing trash with roaches, and dirty towels and linens and pillows. nothing fresh available. shower leaks and the shower fixture is not working property. toilet is small so be careful there. management does not hardly understand english. you get what you pay for here. hotel room costs 50% more but is also above and beyond much better than this.

This unit is a VRBO unit that I booked via Expedia. Unit was fine. I liked the location. The view was ok. There were problems with the unit, primarily the toilet. I am a hotelier. This happens. What is important is how the management company responds. The management company, Lei Hawaii Realty, was very responsive, professional and kind. The location, at the Ala Moana Hotel, was fantastic. The unit met all my needs. Mahalo.

Poor and disappointing customer service

We extended our stay for another 2 days and the money was deducted straightaway from the bank account, but the host apparently did not contact the actual hotel so the hotel told us to leave because there was no notification from the host saying we could say, the host did not apologize to us and we were sending messages from an early stage so this was very irritating, the host was saying the machine wasn’t working or some kind of random excuse which was not satisfying either.The room has weird pipe sounds too.

Location is so convenient you can step right outside and go to the mall right across the street into the beachBut I wish the room was cleaner. They need to take care of the mildew on the shower curtain and around the corners of the bathtub when you adjust the water such a pain in the butt there's only one handle and you turn it to adjust hot and cold so it's not too separate vowels, which is such a pain in the butt.
