The Dakota Sky Lodge at Eleven Mile Reservoir!

We, at Property Management Specialists, want you to know that keeping our guests and staff healthy and safe is our absolute top priority. Our fabulous housekeeping staff is being extremely diligent in sanitizing our homes with hospital grade sanitizer. Disinfectant will be available for guest use during their stay as well. We invite you to remove yourself from the concentration of people and come enjoy some quiet time in the mountains. Several stores in Woodland Park offer online grocery orders and pick up; this is a wonderful way to stock up for your vacation, while still keeping some distance. We look forward to being able to provide your family a safe haven!

Property Managements Specialists presents Pikes Peak Vacation Cabins! We are a locally owned and operated property management company, and it is our goal to provide the highest quality accommodations for our guests.

Introducing The Dakota Sky Lodge at Eleven Mile Reservoir! This fabulous cabin was built in 2018, and will debut as a vacation rental in the spring of 2019.

The cabin has a beautiful open concept floor plan with vaulted ceilings and custom woodwork. AHickory cabinets and granite counter tops create a luxurious kitchen, fully furnished with all the items needed to prepare a wonderful meal.

A wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the combination living/dining room. There is a large deck located just off of the living room, perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation!

The main floor features two bedrooms and the full bathroom. One bedroom offers a queen bed, and the other has two twins. The beautiful master bedroom is located upstairs with a newly remodeled half bath!

This cabin does have internet. Due to the beautiful, rural location of this cabin, the internet available does not include unlimited data. The internet works well for tasks such as emails and browsing, but it is inadequate for streaming, gaming, and video chats.

Being only 2.5 miles from Eleven Mile Reservoir, guests of The Dakota Sky Lodge will have access to some of Colorado's finest Gold Medal fishing! In addition to the spectacular fishing, the cabin is surrounded by phenomenal hiking and 4-wheeling trails in Eleven Mile State Park, as well as the surrounding Pike National Forest.

I really like how the cabin sits at the end of the road so there is never any traffic going by. The neighborhood is secluded to provide an excellent place to get away from it all.

We really enjoyed your cabin. It was very clean, nice and cozy. I would suggest placing the WIFI password somewhere obvious as we had to text you to get it. Also, would recommend a few TV stations instead of just internet apps.

Nice. Gas leak from 2024 was gone. Use of the television was not good. Many VRBO locations give you the option to select Netflix, Prime, etc., along with major networks like ABC. This feature would be nice for watching providers already paid for and such events as football games. Instructions to connect a device via Bluetooth would help as well. It was my fault for not having my account info, but chat did not answer my question when I used that service. All they gave us was the log in info, which is posted in a number of places at the cabin. I also marked a couple of items at the 1 or 2 level because the system would not take my inputs at 5 for some reason and I could not get past that point. We will stay with you next year

There was a strong seemingly musty smell as we entered the cabin. We opened the door and some windows and that eliminated the odor. We did sleep with windows open at night because later as we were preparing dinner one the guests noticed an odor of propane gas in the lower cabinet to the right of the gas stove. I sent an email to the owners noting this issue and that something needed to done to address it before it gets worse, using the owner's response to my question about directions. I was disappointed I did not get a response to my concern. Another small issue is the toaster that is temperamental and requires turning on and toasting a number of times until the doneness lights finally come on and it can be used normally. This a great toaster and you should consider replacing it with a similar model. Otherwise, the listing was accurate, we very much enjoyed the property and we are thinking of returning next year.

Late summer mountain visit

There are many positives about this cabin! It is located on a pine-covered ridge about 2 miles from 11-Mile State Park with a lovely view of the hills from the south-facing deck. The cabin had ample space for 4 adults, and was reasonably clean. The kitchen had good working space with appliances that worked well. The furniture in the living spaces were comfortable. The older gas grill on the deck also worked well, though it probably needs to be replaced soon as it's interior is very worn and pitted. We enjoyed the three hummingbirds who seemed to make the deck their home, especially once we filled the feeder with syrup water. Our main criticisms are 1) the lack of towels, 2) the initial lack of hot water, and 3) the inability of the window screen to stay on in the upstairs bedroom. Despite booking for 4 adults, only 2 bath and no kitchen towels were provided. We initially had no hot water for 2 days until we figured out to play with the hot water adjustment knob at the base of the hot water heater in the utility closet. Even then, the temperature adjustment for the only shower was "wonky", being only able to obtain tepid showers despite hot water at the sinks. The upstairs window screen was found lying on the ground below, and fell out again after reinstallation because of missing attachment points. There was no recycling bin. Despite these nuisances, we enjoyed our stay very much. The area was very quiet and peaceful, and had good park access. We would stay there again.

Convenient Location for Elevenmile and Spinney

This was a well-appointed, cozy log cabin for me and my buddy, who were visiting Colorado to fish Spinney Mountain Reservoir and Elevenmile Reservoir. The location of the cabin relative to these two lakes is quite convenient. The cabin itself is well appointed and stocked with ample supplies of toiletries, kitchen items, and pillows/bedding. I gave the "Cleanliness of property" rating 4 of 5 stars for two reasons. First, on two different evenings we had a mouse visit the kitchen countertops and the living room area. It was harmless, of course, but a bit surprising and unnerving. Secondly, the second floor bedroom had a nest of Yellow Jacket bees. On one morning, a bee landed on my chest while I was sleeping in bed. The feeling of the bee on my skin woke me up and when I swatted it, it stung me on the chest. That was a rough start to my day at 4:30 AM. Aside from these two hiccups, we had a fantastic stay.

Mountain Getaway

Gorgeous property with amazing views. The house was clean and in great shape and overall we were very pleased! I had no phone service which was expected but the internet was pretty slow so if you intend to work as I did, this could present a bit of an issue. Besides that, we completely enjoyed everything about the property and very close to a lot of outdoor activities.

Beautiful views and out in nature, this was the perfect home base for us while exploring this area of Colorado. We had an Amazing trip! The home had all the necessities and was very comfortable. If your looking for a place to stay in this part of Colorado off the beaten path, definitely consider this one!
