Your family and friends will delight in this immaculate, roomy home with terrific kid-friendly amenities in a residential area on the north end of Seaside. It’s easy walking to both the beach and the estuary, and there’s so much to explore! You’ll love lounging in the spacious living room with its hardwood floors, comfy sofas and TV/DVD. Dining is easy from the fully equipped kitchen/dining room with seating for 12. Outdoors a fully fenced yard will contain the kids while you soak in the hot tub; they can also catch a game of ping-pong or dual-shot basketball arcade in the garage. The clean nautical decor continues in the upstairs, which includes three bedrooms and a landing with a queen futon-sleeper. The primary bedroom includes a king bed and a spa-like bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in shower. A second king bedroom also has a twin daybed. The large third bedroom has a Queen bed, twin bed, bunk bed with twin on top and full size on the bottom as well as lots of lively kite decor for the kids.

There is no end of outdoor activities from this home. Since the beach is 800 feet away, sandy feet will enjoy the hot-water outdoor shower. You can also access boogie boards, kites, raingear and clamming, fishing or crabbing gear from the garage. Walk to the nearby Necanicum Estuary and watch Great Blue Herons and other birds from the boardwalk and viewing deck. Ready for more? Hop in the car and all the fun activities, shopping and dining in Seaside are open to you and your guests. Time your next visit to the North Oregon Coast for some relaxation at Slack Tide!

Kitchen was the most stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen! It was a beautiful home however the cleanliness was a huge disappointment. The siding glass doors had smudges and smears all over it, the kitchen table had not been cleaned, had dried ketchup and food on it, two of the three bathrooms had hair on the sink and in the shower, the kite room the fence behind the beds is filthy has not been cleaned and I don’t know how long had spills and dirt all over it. I would’ve expected more for the price we paid for this home. When going on vacation you should never have to clean before you stay.

When we arrived the entire upstairs stunk of cigarettes'. Mainly located in the master bathroom. I quickly sent a message to them and they responded saying they will send cleaners. I am not sure why that would help because the cleaners were just there and did not get rid of the smell? I agreed and they did not arrive for a full day. When they did they claimed there was no smell and left. No resolution was found to the problem, the communication was horribly frustrating. The smell lingered the entire trip and I am sure the next to stay had a bad experience with it as well. When leaving I asked for an extra hour checkout time. Going from 10am to 11am. I thought this was the LEAST they could do for me. Still they were unwilling to conceded even that small ask. The residence was nice. The people were HORRIBLE. I would not recommend staying ANYWHERE associated with Meredith Lodging. Accusing me of making up the smell and not willing to assist in any way.

When our team carefully inspected the home during your stay, they did not detect an odor. They have also been diligently checking for any lingering odor in the few weeks after your check-out and haven't detected one, still. I'm also sorry we couldn't accommodate the one-hour late checkout; our team needed adequate time for a full cleaning before the next reservation we were unable to extend on that occasion. Great spot with close beach access.
