Very spacious house, and it is actually larger than we expected, easily hold a big family for a few days. It also comes with everything you need. Location is convenient to everything in town. We are here for the Indiana Dunes, and it is easily 20 minutes drive. It is also fairly close to Chicago. There is only one bathroom though so if one or more of your family members like to occupy the bathroom for a long term, they need to plan ahead!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Julie's home was exceptional, Clean, comfortable, spacious and absolutely perfect for us!!! Was close to downtown, restaurants, the Dunes, and everthing we wanted to do during our stay!! Thank you Julie for opening your beautiful home to us. Julie provided excellent care for our stay for the weekend, it was such a beautiful house and yard and being so close to a park and downtown Valparaiso really sealed the deal. The atmosphere is very homey and cozy and I would definitely recommend this place to someone else. When I had arrived they had left me with a pleasant surprise which was freshly baked cookies (which I though was such a kind gesture) and goes to show their dedication to making sure their attendees get the upmost satisfaction.But as stated there are several attributes about this place that I was very fond of over the weekend if you decide to check this place out i am sure you will like it as much as I did!

Great stay near Downtown

This was the perfect location for a short visit to family in the area. Location was convenient, host was communicative, and the home had the amenities listed. We appreciate the host's flexibility and enjoyed our stay.

Julie is an amazing host! The house is so cute and has everything you need for a great stay. She has thought of everything that you would need but may have forgotten. We were there for a wedding so didn’t spend a lot of time relaxing there but it has everything you would need for a relaxing getaway. The location is close to everything which made it easy to get around. Definitely will book with Julie if we need to stay in Valparaiso in the future!!

Great property for a larger group

The house sleeps 7 comfortably - with a couple couches that could sleep 3 more if needed. Very clean, good beds, good linens on beds, good bath towels. Check in was easy and our host Julie checked in often, left us a fresh baked treat and was the best !!!

The house is so cute! There so much room for such a little house, and so many games for the kids! It was so warm and cozy we didn't notice it was snowing outside!

Great location and lots of space!

We loved the great location with the park across the street and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance! The house was very spacious with a great basement living area and lots of games! The outdoor living space and HUGE fenced in yard was a big hit for our group! We also enjoyed all the amenities for our two toddlers-strollers, high chair, toys, etc… Host was very communicative and even left a delicious bread for us 😋

A couple days away from the farm for Dad.

My best friend and I set up shop with our games and had a weekend of moseying around downtown and playing games like we had years ago. The house was as advertised and we were able to walk everywhere. Julie, the host, was very accommodating and kind.

Commencement Weekend

This was the perfect home for us while we were in town for our son’s commencement weekend at Valparaiso University! It was about a ten minute walk to the ARC, and it was really nice to be so close to campus—he and his friends could easily stop in between events and have dinner with us. There were lots of games in the basement closet for guests, as well. Our host, Julie, was wonderful and left us a sweet treat and a note of congratulations, too. So very thoughtful. All around a wonderful stay!
