About this property

Beautiful, newly renovated three bedroom with one bathroom in the heart of the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. Located on the Kimball bus line with laundry in the building (see description) available. There is a neighborhood mini mart one door down and a Divvy bike rental stand three blocks away. Come stay in Chicago's hottest neighborhood with some of the best dining and bars the city has to offer.
The unit is on the second floor of a two story walk up greystone. Very sunny with large windows. Newly remodeled 3 bedroom/ 1 bath. ENTIRE apartment (not sharing) in the convenient neighborhood of Logan Square is yours to use. Minutes to downtown and many sites. Plenty of FREE street parking and ON the Kimball bus line. TWO flat screen TVs with Hulu, Netflix and HBOgo and PREMIUM cable. The second tv is in the middle bedroom. Free internet. Samsung soundbar with Bluetooth. Well equipped kitchen with full size appliances and coffee maker. Queen size high quality memory foam mattresses in each bedroom. Couch also has a trundle pull out and an air mattress can be provided by request. High quality, high thread count sheets and duvets on each bed with luxurious memory foam pillows. I will have two laundry baskets for you (one for dark clothes- cold water wash, the other for white clothes- hot water wash) and I will wash any items you need. I won't fold but will return them by the next morning freshly laundered. The reason being is our laundry room is located in an unfinished portion of the building and I would rather offer the service for you than have you have to deal with the scary basement. There is also a large dining room for family gatherings. In addition to all that, we have cameras on the EXTERIOR of the building. With that being said please be honest with how many guests are staying over. If this unit is booked please check out my other places!

Large, Bright, Sunny apt in beautiful Logan square

Everything was exactly as pictured at this spacious 3 bedroom apartment in Logan square. The place was super clean and the owner was wonderful to work with. Would most definitely rent again!!

Pokemon Fest weekend

This was my first trip to Chicago and driving downtown was crazy! So many cars & people! We loved the fact that we were able to park almost in front of the building and we didn't have to pay for parking or carry our luggage far. The unit has been updated with a keypad for entry. We felt very safe staying here. You could tell that it has been recently renovated and the beds were comfortable and the towels looked brand new. Thank you for having water and drinks in the frig. We will definitely stay here again next year when we come back for the Pokemon Fest!

Nice Owner But Mixed Feelings On Property

A friend and I stayed two nights in this property. Admittedly, she is more observant than I am and she had heard some horror stories about apartment rentals which maybe made her even more cautious and observant. First, the positives: I messaged back and forth with the owner and she seems nice, friendly and responsive. She seemed to care about the property and our time there. The location was good for our plans the price was good relative to others in the area. The inside of the property looked like it had been recently renovated and it matched the pictures. The furnishings, especially in the bedrooms, were pretty basic, but acceptable. There was a nice flatscreen TV with streaming options. These are the reasons I give 3 stars. For the negative: the facade on the front of the property looked like it was separated from the house and in disrepair. After we walked in the front door, the door leading to the first floor apartment had a broken window that had been "repaired" with cardboard. We didn't get in until around 8:30, and the owner left the key in the lock, not worried because "the apartment was on the second floor and no one would go up there." I was generally okay with this, but my friend was concerned. The key unlocks the deadbolt on the front door, but there were no other locks to secure it or the back door from the inside. (In hotels you often get that bar you can flip across the door to secure it from the inside.) That also made my friend uncomfortable, since we didn't know a previous renter hadn’t made a copy of the key. Nothing terrible, but it would have been nice if we could have secured it aside from the key. My friend noticed a strong smell of "dog", likely from the dog barking downstairs, but she seems to be okay after getting some Fabreeze. Other than that, one electric outlet was missing its faceplate, it looked like the floor had not been swept, and the toilet had not been cleaned. The last comment has nothing to do with the property, but it was located adjacent to a corner store with graffiti-tagged corrugated steel security doors at night. As we pulled into the unfamiliar neighborhood at dusk, it did not give us a welcome feeling, but that may just be typical of Chicago and/or city apartment rentals. In summary, we spent a fair amount for two nights in what was otherwise a fairly spacious apartment, but there were some things that will likely cause me not to use this service again.
