"Hill Country Haven" is 3 Bedroom, Hallway with 6 Bunk Beds, 4 Bathrooms and is over 2100 sq. ft. It is a one-story located on top of a mountain with gorgeous views of the Hill Country. The home is not wheelchair accessible. It also has several step downs throughout the home. You can watch turkeys, fox, deer, roadrunners and a wide variety of bird life from the patio. This home will accommodate 10 people. It is located 1/2 mile to the 4th Crossing on River Road, minutes to the "Horseshoe" on the Guadalupe River and Whitewater Amphitheater. It is less than 10 minutes to Canyon Lake where you can enjoy boating, water-skiing and sailing. There is extra parking for a boat. The Guadalupe River sits 1/2 mile away. You can go to Rio Raft at the 4th Crossing or Little Ponderosa Outfitters at the Ponderosa Bridge for renting tubes and shuttle service. If you enjoy live music, Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Icehouse and Gruene Hall are just a short drive. You are only 15 minutes to New Braunfels and Gruene where you can enjoy Schlitterbahn Water Park, Comal River Tubing, Wurstfest, Gruene Market Days, shopping, wineries and great restaurants. Just a short 35 mile drive to San Antonio is where you will find Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World and the Riverwalk as well as great restaurants. The Alamo along with several other missions are located in San Antonio for fantastic day trips. Wimberley is only 25 minutes away where you can enjoy Wimberley Market Days and shopping. For you golfers, there are courses located in Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos and Austin.

For renter's information, our property has two security cameras for the sole purpose of security. Hill Country Haven has a Ring camera on the front left of the house to record the driveway, and a Ring Doorbell located at the front door. No cameras invade guests' privacy.

The property was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything that was needed to prep food. The host was amazing and was very communicative whenever I messaged her. We had a group of ten and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out and relax. The couch in the living room is amazing! The views are spectacular and the wildlife was an added bonus. I would not hesitate to book again.

Everything was superb! House was clean, fully stocked from kitchen to outdoor gathering spaces with games! The Hosts were prompt in response and extremely helpful when one of our travelers left a beloved blanket behind. The views in the morning and at sunset were amazing! We loved watching the deer and hearing the turkeys. Our family enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning a return trip in the fall! Highly recommend Hill Country Haven.

Spent a few nights in this beautiful home with family enjoying the gorgeous views and amazing home!!! Our hosts were very easy to communicate with as they made sure we knew how to access the home and to contact them for any reason. I would definitely stay in this home again if in the area. This home was well stocked, very clean and the outdoor area was amazing. We watched deer walk through the backyard while sipping our morning coffee! Just plain awesome!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO. The home was beautiful, peaceful, and so thoughtfully designed. We especially enjoyed the wildlife and relaxing atmosphere. It made the whole experience feel extra special.You can truly tell the owners put a lot of care into making guests feel comfortable. Beautiful property! It’s a great space for a family gathering. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are plenty of bathrooms, the patio is amazing and the view is gorgeous! We found plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area. We would definitely return!

I've rented several houses throughout the Texas Hill Country, and Vicky's place takes the top spot. It is definitely named appropriately. Hill Country Haven. The open floor plan worked great for my group of 9 family members. The back porch and backyard are both well equipped with yard games and multiple seating areas to enjoy the spectacular view. We saw a roadrunner, several deer, AND A GREY FOX! The grill area has been upgraded to a large covered area with additional seating which is a really nice addition. The interior is wonderfully decorated with local items and places they have been, so it has a feel that cannot be replicated with home decor from Hobby Lobby. You can tell it is more than just a rental property. It is a home built with history and love. Kudos Vicky!

Why they chose this property

We have been traveling to New Braunfels for many years and raised our children floating the Guadalupe, playing at Schlitterhahn Water Park, boating and skiing on Canyon Lake, listening to live music at Gruene Hall and enjoying everything the amazing Texas Hill Country has to offer. We built Hill Country Haven for our family's vacation home, where we plan to make many family memories and raise our grandchildren with the same Texas Hill Country traditions. We want to share Hill Country Haven with others and hope that they will enjoy and experience the same joy. Maybe even start their own annual memories and traditions of their time in the Texas Hill Country at Hill Country Haven.

We built this property for the gorgeous views and the location. It is close to all hill country activities and locations; yet, it has its own privacy away from all the noise.
