The cabin was very clean and nice. Amazing views no matter where you looked. Kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. We will def be staying again!
Everything was as described in the listing. No real issues with anything. Location / view is awesome. The home seems to be well maintained. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall was due to the stink bugs and lady bug lookalikes. Not really the host's fault as it was unseasonably warm over Christmas this year and those pests are unavoidable when that happens. It didn't diminish our satisfaction with the property.
The cabin was nicely appointed, stocked, and the views were lovely from all the windows. Very quiet and secluded, yet close to town and paved roadway. Truly a perfect location. The ping-pong table in the basement was a much appreciated addition, and the jacuzzi was spotless. It was a pleasure to visit and support this community as it continues to recover from the hurricane and floods that devastated so much of the area. We highly recommend the Smokey Mountain Dinner for breakfast and lunch, Vinyl Pies for pizza, and Vaste Riviere Provisions for Sunday brunch . If you are looking for a slower-paced get away to enjoy natural beauty, then High Springs should be at the top of your list.

This was the only Guest after over 500 reservations that I asked to leave after his list of “condition of your property“ which was a list his lack of common sense and it was written demeaning and cruel. He refused to leave and made multiple calls to VRBO lying This was a Terrible guest!

Thanks for this opportunity to speak to future guests. If you want to send me an inspection list for my home you should probably make sure it is 1) True 2) not your opinion of policy 3) not attacking me or housekeeping. Or you could just not say anything. But if you want to explain how to tighten a screw with an “Allen key” then do us both a favor and don’t rent this cabin.
We really enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful! We also enjoyed everything that was provided from the k-cups, kitchen tools, and even spices! Thanks for thinking of everything!
Great cabin, well equipped, great location!Just across the bridge from the main part of town. Lots of parking, easy to load in and out with luggage or groceries. Quiet and peaceful location, great view down to the river. Close to hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail and Lover's Leap, a local favorite. The Pump Gap trail was challenging but worth it. Fast internet/wifi and steaming services options for those cozy nights in after a long hike. We would definitely stay here again!
Wagon Trail is a beautiful property with comfortable accommodations. It is conveniently located minutes away from downtown Hot Springs. It has wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, including a screened porch, hot tub, and a large deck with gorgeous views.
Husband and I spent 3 nights for the 4th of July and couldn’t have been happy. The house has a great layout and definitely would be comfortable for families. It’s close to town and great views. Lots of wildlife and very quiet. Highly recommend.
What a great place. Spotless. Great view from front porch. Well maintained. No issues with check in. Right outside of town featuring really good brewery and awesome pizza. The road in is pretty steep and had some large ruts at the bottom. We hiked directly from house to the rich mountain fire tower- about an 8 mile out and back. The hot tub was clean, the beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and kitchen was well stocked minus a cutting board. Would definitely go back.
Keith Ramsey and Misty Cooley Ramsey. I'm from Johnson City TN and Misty is from Greenville SC. We have a 2 year old named Caroline. My father was from Hot Springs, my grandfather and great-grandfather had a saw mill in Hot Springs. It has been my second home all my life, but we didn't complete our dream of owning a custom built cabin until 2019.
Why they chose this property
This property is special to me, its been in the family for generations. I am in the rental property business, and have accumulated over 40 rentals, but this is not your typical rental. This is our 2nd home, vacation home, and probably retirement home. We are opening up our home to share with you.
What makes this property unique
Every foot of this house is custom. From the 10 years of design to the custom add-ons from the builder. Every item has been meticulously thought out and planned for a custom dream home. We used the best we could find/afford on every detail. We will continue to add custom additions, including finishing the monster basement with a game room, video gaming center, and bunk house.
