Ocean front! Ground Floor! B-122 is the closest 2 bedroom to the ocean. Best location and your living area is the 10 acres of manicured lawns and gardens just steps from the large "L" shaped swimming pool of Maui Sunset.

Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Master bedroom with King bed and with private attached bathroom. 2nd bedroom with twins down and 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer. Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Wedding

We stayed here with family and got married on the condo grounds while we were there. The grounds are very nicely landscaped and there is a large park/green space between the walk out patio and the beamazing. The living space inside very nicely done and well stocked. We often had friends and family over for supper and there was lots of space. The only downside at all was that parking could be tough to find at times.

SUPERB

We had a wonderful time and this place was the icing on our Maui Cake!!! The location was perfect! We literally sat on the Lanai watching the whales while having our morning coffee and breakfasts. A short walk on the lawn took us to the beach where we got to see the turtles and play in the water. The owners were very responsive and accommodating!! I will definitely be staying here again!! Mahalo for everything - my 83 yr old mother had a blast!!

Aloha, Looks like your vacation and stay in the ground floor 2 bedroom went mostly perfect. We did check out the linens and could not locate the problem, its possible they were already swapped out on your departure. Maui is a tropical island and the pests, like roaches can sneak in, especially after a rain when the doors are open. Most of the time they are dead when found as we spray ecolab every quarter. I'm glad our staff was able to react quickly and take care of them for you. Hope to see you back soon!

The layout is functional and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and serving equipment and the center island makes it possible to serve brunch to a group or be used as a large table to play cards when it's a bit too windy to play on the patio. We DEFINITELY hope to book this condo again soon!! Thank you for letting us be guests.

Reviewer Comments: We just spent a terrific 10 days at this condo, in Mid-October, 2016. Very happy with this condo.Although we’ve been to Kihei 8 times before, this was our first time at this condo. We chose it because we wanted something where we could walk out to the water directly from the unit, and this was perfect. Also able to have morning coffee on the patio, great.This unit was in excellent condition, newly/nicely renovated. Had both a bathroom with a bath and one with a full walk-in shower. 2 BRs, plenty of drawers & closet space. Only issue with the BRs is that the WiFi only barely reaches back there.In front is spacious living room, nice kitchen, and a wonderful corner work area for my notebook. That’s where the WiFi is, so it is plenty strong there and even out on the patio where I often worked.Grounds are amazing. Gardeners & maintenance folks out every single day. Office staff also very helpful.Happy to give this rental our highest rating. Will definitely rent this particular unit - B122 - again.

Amazing unit!

We have been staying at the Maui Sunset for the past decade. We love the location, well maintained grounds and being right on the beach to watch the sunset every night. This was by far the best unit we have ever stayed in! It was clean, spacious and well stocked. It has everything you need! Having AC in all the rooms and main living room was a huge bonus. The patio is really nice with the two ceiling fans. We ate dinner outside multiple nights. We loved it, it checked all the boxes for us. We will definitely be back!

This Condo is a gem!

We loved our week long stay in this condo. The location was beautiful. We loved the patio right off the large grassy area, proximity to the beach and the to the pool. The condo itself was so clean and we loved the up to date amenities. It was a perfect fit for my two kids so they could have their own beds. We would 100% stay here again if we return to Maui. Excellent stay in Kihei

Great property, lots to do on-site and close by to shopping. Two parents, 2 teens 15 & 16, 1 senior. We alternated across our 10-day vacation with one day at the condo (pool, beach, shuffleboard, putting green, tennis etc.) and next exploring other public beaches and tourist spots (e.g. volcano at sunrise, Maui Farm, public market, etc.). Well-appointed, clean condo unit with everything you could need.

Perfect for my family!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. The huge grassy area was perfect for the kids to run around and for the adults to play bocce (available at the pool!) during nap time. Everything we needed for the beach including chairs and an umbrella were there for us. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

The stay was easy. Beds comfortable, AC worked great. Nice to have washer dryer. Opening the sliding doors and walking out, on ground level, to the beach was lovely. So nice and convenient. It was easy to park close to the condo. We’ll stocked with kitchen appliances and beach items. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Reviewer Comments: the best feature of this condo is the location , beach front- but with a large open grassy field- which was perfect for our kids to play on. the condo was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. everything was nice an clean. one small issue is the beach isn't great for swimming , due to the coal and rocks on the shore, but there are many swimmable beaches very close by ( within a mile). every night you get a front row view of the sunset which was great. i would 100% book this room again
