Ocean Front House KR14 is an oceanfront BEACH villa located in Hato (Bonaire, CN), only 10 minutes by car from the airport, 5 minutes by car from downtown Kralendijk.
The house is located nearby major resorts - only a 10-minutes' walk to Harbour Village and Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort, 5-minutes' walk to Captain Don's Habitat, Buddy Dive Resort, Hamlet Oasis, Eden Beach, Spice Bar... And it is also close to the wild beaches like 1000 steps, 200m walk from CrossFit Flamingo Bonaire and Fitness Bonaire

The villa features a lush tropical garden, a private pool, panoramic ocean view and a private beach, only ten steps away. This very private family villa is fully furnished and equipped, and very clean.

Please note the apartment is an integral part of the house, and it's never rented separately, we hand over you two sets of keys /the house and the apartment /

This house is pristine condition, with a beautiful courtyard behind the main house, and comfortable deck facing the ocean. Literally steps to a great reef for snorkeling. Everything you could need is in the house and kitchen. Quiet location. Nice privacy for all the rooms. Draga is available next door and quickly responds to any message. So easy and beautiful. Would definitely return!!!

This was our second time staying at this absolute paradise. The property is truly amazing, and Draga makes sure you have everything you could need during your stay, and more. This property lives up to its reviews. It is in perfect condition and the property owner has thoughtfully stocked the home with everything you could need during your stay. The house layout was perfect for our family- every room has its own bathroom and the option to use air conditioning. We enjoyed many meals at the home and also were happy to walk to restaurants/ ice cream within about a mile of the home. Had some fantastic snorkel/diving sessions right in front of the house. We saw 3 octopuses on one exceptionally clear day!!My personal favorite amenity was the heated, ocean front shower. Draga kindly allowed us flexibility with check in and check out to accommodate our flight times. It doesn’t get any better than this!!

Perfect, beautiful Oceanside home!

Very clean, spacious, beautiful view. Home has everything needed for a relaxing stay. Fully stocked kitchen, easy ocean entry with plenty of coral and fish just feet away. Private pool and patio are a plus.

Excellent location and fantastic host

Everything about this house was perfect. Well appointed, very clean, on the water right off fun snorkeling reefs, lovely pool from which to watch the sunsets, great location and very generous, informative and awesome hosts. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone.

The best of Bonaire

An amazing host and place. Simply 5 out of 5 stars in every respect. Stunning home and view close to great dive sites, grocery stores ( and recycling center) dive shops all only 6 minutes from downtown. We have stayed in 5 locations but this one was the best by miles.

Fantastic Property - Fabulous Hosts

Could not be happier with our recent stay at this Bonaire property. Draga was very helpful in our trip planning, and the place itself was both beautiful and convenient. Some of the best Snorkling we did while on Bonaire was in “the back yard”. We are already planning our next trip!

Beautiful!

This villa was a perfect location for my family. It is very clean and the beds and furniture are super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with great dishes and cookware. We loved the pool and the easy access into the ocean with water shoes on, Bonaire has beautiful coral reefs around the shore. It is so quiet and restful. It is also close to everything. The check in and check out were easy and the owner was wonderful. We hope to go back again next year.

Bonaire Vacation

The property was close to restaurants and a grocery store so you could walk if desired. The home was very comfortable and had all the amenities you need. Draga was extremely helpful with all the questions that we had prior to arrival and provided the most prompt responses from a manager that I have seen. The snorkeling at the home was absolutely amazing.

Bonaire at its best

This vacation villa with an oceanfront location and modern interior is a great choice for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. The oceanfront location provides stunning views and easy access for swimming and scuba diving. The modern interior offers comfortable and stylish amenities and met all our needs. Communication with Draga (owner) was easy. We'll certainly come back.

The only place we stay

This was probably our 4th booking here and already reserved for 2025. I’ve been going to Bonaire for over a decade and we return annually. This is now the only place I will stay. The owners are great to work with and the house/location is absolutely the best. Close to town but also quiet. Staring at the ocean at the back of the pool is one of my happy places. Two outdoor showers and everything you could need inside. Just love this house!

Your own slice of paradise

I have really had trouble writing this review as there are too many great things to say about the property and the hosts. The location is fantastic. The house shows that the hosts really care about it and have outfitted and decorated it with the same care they would of their own home. I’ve stayed at many rental properties for holiday and this one is a top 1%. Draga and Iztok, we’ll done and thank you for having us. We can’t wait to be back

Perfect home & location

This was our second stay at this property. I’ve been traveling to Bonaire for over a decade and stayed all over the island. This is it for us. Very well appointed, decorated and the ideal location. You can scuba & snorkel here in your backyard! Just down the street I walk to Flamingo Cross Fit and we use 4 Wheel Diving for tanks and scuba needs. My boyfriend cycles and this puts him in the middle of the island so he can choose to cycle the park or the salts flats. The owners are delightful which make the stay all the more enjoyable. We’ve booked our return trip already. If it’s in the budget, look no further.

Can I please live here???

Loved everything about this place! Layout is great, 3 bedrooms in the main house and a really nice 1 bedroom apartment (which our 25 year old loved, as did we, as he is largely nocturnal). Large open dining/kitchen/ LR area and incredible views. We made most our own meals at home. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Housekeeper was so helpful! Amazing snorkeling and diving right off the back steps! Didn't need to go anywhere. The place was so comfortable and relaxing. Owner has a wonderful design sense with very unique artistic touches in the incredible landscape. Spent afternoons in the pool, snorkeling, and just lounging to see the amazing sunsets night after night. Absolutely ready to live there!!!

Beautiful Bonaire!

This house was perfect for us! After arriving to the house after a very early, long day of travel we were surprised by some snacks and food/drink staples in the fridge. It was such a nice thing to walk into when we were all hungry and tired after our travels. It was clean, very well kept and had a great layout. There were 4 adults and 2 kids in our group and there was more than enough space for all of us. The view is stunning, and the snorkeling out the back was amazing. We saw a lot of different fish and sea turtles! We hope to make it back to the island of Bonaire again someday and I would definitely stay here again. It was comforting knowing the owners were right next store so if we needed anything we could just ask. Thanks again to our hosts-we loved your place and had the best vacation!

Perfect Property

This is our 18th annual trip to Bonaire. We have always rented houses that are on the water. Although this was not the largest nor the most expensive property we have rented, this ins now our favorite. The location was perfect with it's proximity to town. The house itself was well kept and maintained at a high level. Everything we needed from kitchen equipment, towels and even electrical plug convertors were plentiful and in great condition. The best part of the house (of which there are many) was the outside pool area. Great view of the water and plenty of shade. Entrance to the water for diving and snorkeling (which is high on our list) was easy. I recommend this property highly. The property owner was is dream to deal with throughout the booking and rental process. We will rent this house again.

Absolutely amazing!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, and we can’t recommend this place enough. To begin with, our host Draga was amazing. Incredibly quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had. She also filled the fridge with some drinks and food for us to enjoy, and the house was stocked with everything we could have needed—they truly went above and beyond!The house itself is beyond stunning and the setup couldn’t be more ideal. The large and well-equipped separate apartment unit worked wonderfully for my in-laws, while the rest of our group stayed in the beautiful and spacious main house just steps away. There is plenty of room to spread out and find some privacy. We hardly left the backyard for most of our stay, other than an amazing day of exploring the island (highly recommend). The snorkeling right off of our private beach was amazing!! We saw so many fish, a moray eel, and stunning coral. The private pool and two outdoor showers were also so wonderful to have! This house is only a two-minute drive (walkable) to a well-stocked and very nice supermarket and several restaurants, and just a 10-15 minute drive from Kralendijk and the airport. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we can’t wait to return!! Thank you!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus sehr genossen. Nochmals vielen Dank an Draga. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Haus war bei Übergabe sehr sauber. Das Grundstück ist gepflegt, der Ausblick von der Terrasse phänomenal, vor allem die Sonnenuntergänge. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Already Booked Return Trip

We have been coming to Bonaire over 10 years. We have stayed at dive resorts and multiple VRBO listings. This is now the only place we plan to return to. Owners - This was THE BEST experience. They made check in and check out hassle free, were very helpful, easy to communicate with and there were no surprises. For example, on one stay when we arrived, we were told there was a limit to the electricity we could use. In this instance if there was a surprise it was that the listing was even better than described! We immediately fell in love. Location - We like being close to downtown without the noise and hustle of downtown. This location felt remote yet was in great proximity to diving, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. And you can't beat being able to snorkle or dive from your backyard! We did our checkout dive here and saw 2 turtles. Just down the street is 4 Wheel Diving who we got our tanks and dive tips of the day from (Yago was simply fantastic) as well as CrossFit Flamingo that I did drop-in classes at (who could pass up a swim WOD!). The House - The house itself was laid out very well with outdoor showers, several places for star gazing/sitting outside and a nice gated (with lock) courtyard where we felt safe leaving our bicycles (we rent from Jarne of FX Bonaire Kiteschool) and scuba gear. The pool was perfect as well for relaxing and gazing at the ocean and sailboats passing by. Plenty of kitchen amenities (there was not a single thing we needed that was not there) and even hairdryers in the bathrooms. If you are finding yourself looking at a few properties, unable to decide, pick this one and move on. You will not be disappointed!

Our Favorite Property...Ever

Words don't express how special this home is. First, the property owners are responsive and communicative. Makes everything extremely easy and clear. They extended our check out time and felt very casual and wonderful to deal with. The home is comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything one might need for vacation. The best part though, is the backyard. It's a literal snorkeling paradise. We rented gear and snorkeled every day exploring the underwater world in perfectly clear water. Sick of salt water? There's a lovely clean shower for you right as you get out of the sea. Chairs to relax and view the wildlife, a lovely small pool for the kids to splash around in too. We never left the house except for dinner. We went to the beach one day and decided the house was better. We have stayed at properties around the globe and this is one of two we would rent again. Hoping to return!

Perfect place to stay.

Wow!!! No need to book the resorts when this perfect villa is here. Completely private and yes 2 minutes from the best dive sites and dive company for tanks. House layout is perfect and the view from the back is amazing. I couldn’t have booked a better place. Owners are gracious and caring. I would advise booking this place and only this place.

Geweldige plek!

Het was een geweldig huis, comfortabel verzorgd sfeervol. Hartelijke gastvrouw. En bovenal een geweldige ligging aan de kust met prachtig koraal en veel gevarieerde en kleurrijke hoeveelheid vissen. Zo vanuit je bed kunnen snorkelen, zwemmen, zonnen: wat een luxe! Een onvergetelijke vakantie!

Fantastic Vacation

This was one of our favorite vacations! Draga was the best VRBO host we’ve ever encountered. She provided refrigerator items on our arrival, quickly responded to any questions we had and was a great next door neighbor. We snorkeled all over the island, but our favorite spot was right in front of the house, it was like being in an aquarium. The house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. We have already rebooked, and next time will bring earplugs for the neighborhood dogs and itch cream for the bug bites. Draga, thanks and we can’t wait for our next trip!
