It is a wonderful place to stay while in taupo. Everything was well organized, very spacious and well kept.Highly recommend this place.
Just a small thing that could be done at the property..the Bathrooms need a lock from inside.
Overall this is an amazing place to stay . It has almost everything you need to make holiday dreams come true. We went as an extended whanau on a mini vacation of 4 days and the place is situated in a great spot with amazing views of the lake and surrounds. The closeness to the lake meant we could walk our kayaks down (2 min walk) to the bay that is close to perfect to allow the grandkids to swim, kayak, paddle in complete safety and we spent the entire afternoon down there. The house has a fantastic layout with two separate lounges, three bedrooms (two with walk-in wardrobes and ensuites) and large dining area, well appointed kitchen, laundry and a fully secure section. The upper lounge has an amazing wrap around balcony with majestic views of the lake and surrounds. The only let down from our perspective was the inside temperature of the house. It was hot, there were only two pedestal fans and an underfloor fan system which wasnt very effective so it made it hard to sleep. We purchased two extra fans to try and move the hot air around which partially sorted the heat issue. Would we go back to this property in the future. Short answer is yes. we loved our stay and if there were AC units installed it would make this the perfect book a bach property.
A great place for several people. Plenty of room and everything we needed. Would love a summer stay one day. Very handy walk to the lake. And lots to do up the road at The Landing.
Well set up with lots of furniture and good size fridge so great for a large group. Nice views and sun and excellent location to Taupo activities.
Could be a little clean. We moved furniture to sit closer when upstairs and found old lollies and bits under the couch. My sister dropped her earing under the master bed and said " dont look under there man" - I cleaned the BBQ better than what it was but it could do with a burn off of excess fat.

Worst customer service I've ever had.
The property was great but the Bookabach and Bachcare service was worse than terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. No response to emails, no follow up from phone calls, no timely details on how to access the property. The whole process was really stressful and upsetting. I will only ever use bookabach and bachcare again if I am truly desperate.
The house was beautifully presented and having the fire on when we arrived was lovely! The weather want the greatest so we couldn’t take advantage of the outside area but it looked great! Having a 16 month old it was mostly suitable except for the fireplace. Our only issue was with the fireplace but not just because it wasn’t gated off it was also very loud so we could t leave it on over night. In winter there might need to be another option for heating ☺️ Overall we would stay again!
This property was perfect for our 3 families. Plenty of space for everyone. Upstairs space for the kids, plenty of bathrooms, beds, cutlery, nice big kitchen. Will definitely use this house again!!
An excellent property for our family to use..meet all our needs perfectly. The property manager Vicki was just amazing.excellent communication, extremely obliging friendly and helpful.. will be very keen to book again where she is the property manager . Very enjoyable. Thank you

Thanks for leaving us such a lovely review, Susan! We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you back again soon! - Becky
This was a great 'home away from home' for our group of friends. The space was large, but also had a cosy feel to it. There was plenty of room and a double living space with an epic view, that was lovely to enjoy. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed , and our ensuites and bathrooms were clean and well kept. Vicky was lovely, accomodating, and kept up with communication throughout our stay, she even turned on the fireplace, then came back to teach us how to keep it going! We enjoyed the benefits of the Wi-Fi and Netflix on the cold evenings! The location was also easy for access to city centre, and for our trip to the snow. Our group loved our stay here, and we would definitely come back! Thanks so much for having us!
