Everyone can have their space with living across 2 levels, as well as plenty of outdoor living area so you can enjoy year round comfort... Relax on the deck upstairs while the kids challenge each other to a game of Foosball downstairs - this is a perfect set up for larger groups, with cosy interior plus 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms to ensure the ultimate in convenience.

You can keep it casual with the BBQ on hand for easy holiday feasts, or head up the road for a selection of cafes. When it's time to burn off some energy, you can stroll to the lake at the end of the street for scenic walks and bike rides along the waters edge. Other adventure activities include trips to Huka Falls, visiting the hot springs, or head out for days on the lake...

Awesome year round adventures are sure to please the Family at Wharewaka!

Great Stay

We had an excellent family stay, was a lovely clean house perfect for what we needed, not too far from Taupo town but far enough, would use again. Would just suggest maybe a little rubbish bin in the downstairs bathroom.

Pleasant

Family at Wharewaka is a very pleasant bach in a quiet location. Very close to the lake and handy for a bike ride to town or a short drive. Plenty of room for our group of 10 adults, the kitchen had all you need appliances. Also lots of room outside. 15 minute walk a brand new Woolworths and 15 minute walk the other way, a cafe, minigolf and pin bowling.

Taupo beauty

Was excellent for our purpose which was to meet friends from other parts of the Nth Island for a meeting. Was warm, spacious, close to the lake, quiet neighbourhood. Well stocked kitchen, parking for 4 cars.
