Approx. 10 minutes of Ribeira Grande located away quietly in the countryside and surrounded by fields, with views of the Atlantic, you can recover and make their holiday individually. The house stands on a large plot of land with associated forest and the house of the German landlord. The apartment has two rooms with an area of 40 square meters and can accommodate 2-3 persons. The living room has an open fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a sleeper sofa, are one meter wide, also a German television with satellite reception. The bedroom has a first 80-meter-wide double bed. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels (kitchen, bathroom) are included in the price. On request there is also a WiFi internet connection. From the furnished terrace offers stunning views of the Atlantic and the surrounding countryside.

Environment: Ribeira Grande is only a few miles away, where there is any business to meet your daily needs. This of course includes a supermarket, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The capital, Ponta Delgada is just 15 minutes. It is centrally located and can their trips from here to Furnas, start to Lagoa do Fogo, Sete Cidades to the Lagoa. Or they play golf, fishing they would like, they go whale watching, swimming in thermal pools Caldeira Velha enjoy, or spend a day at the beach.

Great central location

Everything on the island was within an easy drive thanks to the great central location. The house has everything we needed. Hosts were kind and welcoming. The driveway was a little intimidating at first as it’s quite steep and narrow, but we never had any issues.

Brigitte and Jurgen were delightful! Their location is perfect, up on the hill to see the ocean and watch the sun rise and set. The grounds were immaculate and the fresh eggs from their chickens were delicious! They were terrific, friendly and helpful hosts. Being centered on the island made excursions to any point easy.

Fairytale Location

While on Sao Miguel I stayed in a centrally located cottage… it was way more beautiful and charming than I could have hoped for. Bridgette AKA Kiki was a wonderful host who was very respectful and responsive to any questions I had. The cottage was clean and well supplied… and the location was stunning. I am forever grateful that I picked this place to spend my time on Sao Miguel!

Séjour extrêmement agréable dans cet appartement. Il s’agit de deux appartements côte à côte, éloignés de quelques mètres de la maison de la propriétaire. Il n’y a pas de vis à vis avec le propriétaire. La vue sur l’océan le matin depuis la cuisine est au rendez vous. Le silence également. Tous les équipements nécessaires sont présents. L’hôte est très agréable et discrète. Accueil chaleureux. Barbecue très agréable. Bref, un séjour à recommander! Merci

Fijn verblijf met volop tuin ruimte en fijne gastvrouw

Brigitte is een fijne gastvrouw. De accommodatie bevind zich op een ruime omgeving, waar je wordt verwelkomd door de honden. Het is even zoeken naar de toegangspoort, maar Brigitte is zeer behulpzaam en geeft goede informatie.

Für uns zwei perfekt.

Mit dem Ferienhaus waren wir richtig glücklich. Das Frühstück morgens bei Sonnenschein und der Wein am Abend mit Blick auf den weiten Atlantik waren auf der schönen, kleinen Terrasse wirklich großartig. Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist ausgezeichnet, um die gesamte Insel gut zu bereisen. Die schmale Zufahrt zum Ferienhaus war für uns anfangs ein kleines Abenteuer. Sie ist am besten mit einem kleineren Mietwagen-Modell zu meistern. Die deutschen Besitzer Brigitte und Jürgen sind sehr herzlich zu uns gewesen und haben uns mit guten Tipps versorgt.

Schönes Ferienhaus auf schöner Insel

Wir waren Ende Juli für eine Woche in diesem schönen Ferienhaus. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und doch praktisch eingerichtet, es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Mit dem Mietwagen sind Ausflugsziele wie Sete Cidades oder Lagoa do Fogo von hier aus schnell erreichbar. Brigitte und Jürgen sind sehr nette Gastgeber, die bei Fragen gerne mit dem einen oder anderen Tipp aushelfen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld – wir hatten einen sehr späten Flieger mit Anreise kurz vor Mitternacht – war einfach und schnell. Die Wanderroute PRC29 „Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande - Salto do Cabrito“ hat uns am besten gefallen, auch der Ausflug in die Altstadt nach Ponta Delgada war sehr schön (Parken am besten in der Tiefgarage direkt am Hafen). Der Fisch und die Meeresfrüchte haben eigentlich überall gut geschmeckt, wobei die Lapas und der Polvo Assado im „Gazcidla“ in Mosteiros knapp die Nase vorn hatten. Wir würden das Casa Azul auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Wunderbares Feriendomizil

Es stimmte einfach alles: tolle auswärtige Lage im Grünen mit Meeresblick. Schöner Garten mit viel Platz zum relaxen. Die Ferienwohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen; sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es sei denn man will im Urlaub unbedingt fernsehen, aber wer will denn schon sowas wenn es eine so interessante Insel zu erkundigen gibt. Kiki und Jürgen waren sehr nette, hilfsbereite, herzliche Gastgeber. So verbrachten wir auch einen sehr schönen Abend miteinander und haben viel Interessantes über die Insel und ihre Bewohner erfahren. Herzlichen Dank nochmals an Kiki und Jürgen, es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub.

Auf den Azoren - São Miguel entdecken

Für Entdeckungstouren auf der Insel zentral gelegener Standort in der Mitte der Nordküste. Das Feriendomizil liegt im Grünen mitten in einem gepflegten Garten mit Sicht aufs Meer. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgerüstet und so eingerichtet, dass es für einen angenehmen und erholsamen an nichts mangelt. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die ihre Urlaubstage im eigenen Rhythmus gestalten und erleben möchten!

We stayed 5 nights in Kiki’s and Jürgen’s cottage and it was absolutely great. The property is really beautiful and calm with a great view. The house is as described and in great condition and you have everything you can think of in the kitchen and the bathroom. Kiki and Jürgen are super relaxed and their dogs are just lovely. Entspannung und Ausflüge auf die ganze Insel

Unser Aufenthalt im Casa Azul war traumhaft. Wir haben hier 10 Tage unseres Elternzeiturlaubs verbracht. Kiki und Jürgen hatten uns im Vorfeld Kuscheltiere, Bausteine und einen Krabbelteppich, Babybett und Hochstuhl für unseren Sohn hingestellt. Eine sehr nette Geste! Unser 9-Monate alter Sohn schloss schnell Freundschaft mit den beiden Hunden und dem Ziegenbock. Zu dem Grundstück gehört eine große Grünfläche und ein angrenzender Wald. Kiki und Jürgen waren immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir bedauern nur, dass wir nicht länger geblieben sind. Von der Casa Azul kommt man auch relativ schnell an alle Ecken von Sao Miguel.

Gemütliches Ferienhäuschen in zentraler Lage

Die Lage der zwei Ferienhäuschen ist Top, ideal um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was nötig ist, wir haben zwei Wochen darin verbracht und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Kiki und ihr Lebensgefährte sind sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und aufmerksam; wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben war der gemeinsame Pizzaabend, den wir sehr genossen haben. Die selbstgemachten Pizzen von Kiki waren hervorragend und werden uns lange in Erinnerng bleiben. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Was für eine schöne Zeit!!!!!

Wir haben unsere Elternzeit für drei Wochen auf Sao Miguel verbracht. Unterteilt haben wir diese in zwei unterschiedliche Unterkünfte. Die ersten zehn Tage konnten wir zum Glück bei Kiki auf dem schönen Hof unterkommen. Kiki und Jürgen sind zwei super hilfsbereite, sympathische, beeindruckende und vor allem authentische Menschen, die man einfach nur gern haben kann. Die freundlichen Hunde Samba und Milli, die Katze Madame Mietz, die Hühner und natürlich der erhabene Ziegenbock Klaus runden das ganze Bild ab und verleihen diesem Ort ein absolutes Wohlfühlfeeling. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und besitzt alles was man benötigt, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Außerdem ist die mittige Lage perfekt, um die wunderschöne Insel in beide Richtungen erkunden zu können. „Liebe Kiki, lieber Jürgen vielen lieben Dank, dass ihr zu unseren unvergesslichen Elternzeitmemoiren beigetragen habt. Wenn wir nochmal auf die Insel kommen, dann auf jeden Fall zu euch.“ Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für jedefrau und jedermann, die keinen überflüssigen Luxus brauchen, Tiere gern haben und auf der Suche nach herzlichen Vermietern sind.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in idealer Lage

Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben wir unseren Urlaub in einem von Kikis Ferienhäusern verbracht. Weil es uns im Mai 2017 so gut gefallen hat, haben wir direkt unseren Sommerurlaub wieder dort festgemacht. Beide Häuser sind gemütlich eingerichtet und lassen kaum Wünsche offen. Eine Terasse und ein großer Garten laden zum Aufenthalt ein, wenn man einmal nicht auf Entdeckungstour gehen möchte. Die Gastgeber stehen bei allen Fragen mit wertvollen Tipps zur Verfügung und sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Außerdem backt Kiki die beste Pizza der ganzen Azoren ;-) Wir haben zwei Mal eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit dort verbracht und werden gerne wieder kommen.

Wundervolle 2 Wochen bei Kiki

Wir (29 und 27 Jahre) waren im September/Oktober 2017 für 2 Wochen bei Kiki auf den Azoren. Nach kurzer Suche fanden wir das große Gelände mit den 2 kleinen Ferienhäuschen mit Terrasse, dazugehörigem Parkplatz und einem großzügigem Gemeinschaftsgarten mit einer schönen großen Wiese und Grillplatz mit einer Garnitur die für 6 Leute ausreichend ist. Von dieser aus hatte man einen schönen Blick aus Meer. Die Häuschen sind mehr als ausreichend für 2 Personen. Es war alles Sauber und ordentlich Kiki war jederzeit total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei kleinen oder großen Fragen konnten wir sie immer ansprechen und sie half uns wo sie nur konnte. Zudem gab es noch die 2 Labradore Samba und Milli die total Lieb und zutraulich sind. Eine Katze namens Madame Miez und einen Ziegenbock namens Klaus :-) Alles in allem war es ein sehr sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei Kiki und würden jederzeit wieder bei ihr wohnen.

Logement idéal pour visiter les Acores

L'appartement est parfait avec toutes les commodités nécessaires On a l'impression d'y etre seul dans la nature, mais il est situé idéalement pour visiter toute l'ile de Sao Miguel et à 5 minutes en voiture de la magnifique plage Santa Barbara. Kiki et son conjoint sont très accueuillants et sympathiques. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et reviendrions à cette place si nous visitons une autre fois Sao Miguel !
