Venice Beach Studio Steps To The Sand With Parking at Property

Newly upgraded bright and quiet studio apartment, at the back of a 1904 Cape Cod beach house on the best walk street in Venice, steps to the beach. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and everything needed for cooking and eating. There is a dining table with chairs, large bathroom and closet, queen bed, full size sofa bed, bamboo floors, lots of windows, Wifi, TV and parking right behind the house. Guests have a porch outside the studio, as well as the backyard garden area shared with the hosts. And of course, the huge and wonderful Venice Beach is our best backyard. Beach towels and chairs are provided. Amenities include iron and board, drying rack, dressers, hangars, linens, down and down alternative pillows, and quality bedding; smart TV with Netflix. It is best suited for two people, with one person on the pullout sofabed if not a couple. However, if the sofa bed is used the sitting area is limited to the dining table and chairs.
The studio is in the heart of Venice Beach, walking distance to Abbot Kinney Blvd. and Main Street Santa Monica. There are fabulous restaurants, coffee houses and shops all within walking distance. Santa Monica Place mall and Marina Del Rey are a short drive or bike ride away, with movies, shops, and gyms. LAX airport is 20 minutes away.

Beach house stay.

Delightful stay at Cathy's place in Venice, CA. Her recommendations for restaurants were great. Her responsiveness to any of our needs or questions was immediate, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and loved the outdoor patio area, and the short walk to go on the strand of Venice beach, whenever we chose to do it.

This place is great. Steps from the beach and all the shops and activities. Very nice studio. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and cooler. It saved us from having to buy our own then carry them home. The homeowners are very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

Sweet Summer Studio

Our stay at Cathy’s studio was everything we expected and more. Quiet and safe, a quick stroll to the beach, parking 24/7 and a most comfortable bed to rest our weary selves after a big day of bicycling, walking and beach frolicking. Anything we needed was readily available in this darling studio. We so appreciated all of the windows to let in the sunlight and the outdoor sitting area to dine and just chill. Cathy was prompt to respond to any queries and we had a most enjoyable month and a half stay. We will be back!

Fabulous Venice Beach studio in Great Location

This was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Cathy and Davoud put together everything one would need. First, the location. It is in a lovely neighborhood, very close to the colorful Venice beach scene, but removed enough to be quiet and calm. There are loads of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and it is an easy drive to the Culver City arts district and the area around Santa Monica. The Venice Canals are another great walk. The studio was perfect, a nice sitting area, very comfortable bed, and a small kitchen that was loaded with utensils/espresso maker(!)/decent knives, all that you need to cook. The bathroom was large with lots of closet space and very good, natural bath products. The place was clean and fresh (No smelly cleaning products!) , with a sweet patio for relaxing after running around L.A. Our hosts were very responsive, and met us exactly on time to get into the unit. I knew they would be there if we had questions/concerns (which we didn't), but they respected our privacy. Friendly, generous people. Thanks to you, Cathy and Davoud!

Nursing School Graduation Vacation

This location was perfect. It was about a block from the beach and a couple blocks from main street with lots of fun shops. Cathy was always available and very accommodating for anything that we needed. She explained how to pull out the bed as there were three of us, showed us where extra blankets and linen were. A BIG plus was a parking spot! We went to Venice Ale House which is on the boardwalk a couple blocks from the house a few times. We also walked to Santa Monica Pier, about a mile and a half away, but when you're walking along the beach its easy! We also went to Universal Studios one day and the drive was not bad at all! We were expecting lots of LA traffic, but it was very mild and only took about 40 minutes. The only negative thing (if you want to call it that) that we noticed was there was no microwave, but there was a toaster oven so that worked for us. We will definatly be using this VRBO again and would suggest it to anyone who wants to have a good stay in a perfect cute studio in Venice Beach. Oh and the address says Park ave, but you can't drive on Park, and the parking spot is off of Thornton (Or something like that).

Cozy studio in a perfect location

This was a clean, cozy, and very comfortable studio very near the beach and walkable to everything you'd need. Cathy is a caring and responsive host. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Toller Urlaub in Venice

Besonders gefallen hat uns die sehr ruhige Lage und die herzliche Betreuung durch Kathy- sehr besorgt, entgegenkommend und freundlich! Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, es war alles vorhanden, was den Aufenthalt schön macht. Die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich, ausreichend Handtücher u Bettwäsche vorhanden. Toll war auch, dass wir für unseren Mietwagen einen PP vor dem Haus hatten. Nur wenige Schritte zum Strand, eine kl. Garten und Terrasse, alles perfekt. Danke, gern wieder!

Feeling at home close to the beach

We travelled with our 1.5 years old son and the studio was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. It took as a while to get use to the homeless people on the boardwalk, but they really don't bother other people, so no need to be afraid. Cathy's place was clean and the outdoor area nicely kept. We would definitely stay there again.

Venice Beach Vacation

This was the perfect location to visit Los Angeles. My teenage daughter and I stayed and it was the perfect size. This location is within 20-45 minutes of main L.A. attractions. We used Lyft to visit popular sites and from this location, they were quickly available. The location was clean and easily accessible. The owners let us use beach chairs which was nice. Although this location is close to Venice Beach Blvd., it was quiet. We found a nice breakfast location that offered buy one, get one 50% between 8-9 that was a short walking distance. I would recommend this location for anyone looking to visit L.A.

Very charming studio attached to main house and lovely and quiet

Would definitely recommend this property, it’s in an ideal location just steps from Venice boardwalk and Venice Ale house. It’s also ideal for taking Blue bus into Santa Monica and from there a Tram to downtown LA, Long Beach etc. Also ideally situated for access to LAX. Not sure about cooking facilities as I don’t use them on vacation but the place was well equipped. Would love to stay again on a future trip to LA

Excellent location and fabulous host!

This cute suite on the beach was exactly what I was looking for. It was perfect for my 12 year old son and I. It had all the amenities one would need and Cathy was so incredibly welcoming and kind so we knew if we needed anything, we could ask no problem. Just steps to the beach and within reasonable driving distance to all theme parks. Having free parking was a huge bonus. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great stay!

Wonderful stay!

My adult son and I stayed here and had a delightful trip. The unit was very clean and appointed with everything we needed. The pull-out couch was ideal for my son, while the bed was very comfortable for me. We typically made breakfast in the unit and ate elsewhere throughout the day. Cathy and husband Davud were very accommodating and extremely pleasant people. (Cathy, does your husband ever not smile?) They were super flexible with our arrival time and even gave us additional time on our last day. You can't beat the location. You can't beat that patio! You can't beat that garden! What a great stay! I'd book this place again in a second!

Wonderful little spot by the beach!

The spot is perfectly located. A stone's throw from the beach yet far enough away from the craziness so as not to disturb your sleep. Our host(s) was very friendly and accommodating, graciously allowing us to stay after check out when our flight was delayed, allowing us to use an additional parking space for family to come visit, and allowing family to visit in the first place though that was not a part of the contract. The bathroom is stellar and the kitchen more than serviceable. Maybe a larger teflon frying pan would have been nice, but that's nitpicky and most visitors probably aren't going to do a lot of cooking anyway. This review would be five stars (perfect) if not for a one-star worthy setback: the bed. It is certainly large enough but it is definitely hard. We found it difficult to sometimes painful to sleep in. A simple upgrade and our host would be 5 stars. TLDR; Really great place, great location, great host, hard bed.

Perfect...!

My partner and I spent a month at Cathy’s Venice Beach studio apartment and found it absolutely perfect for our needs. The apartment is bright, spacious and fully equipped, and Cathy has thought of all the little things that make travellers' lives easier. Added to that, it has a patio within a small fenced garden and we felt relaxed and at home from day one. Despite it being only seconds away from the busy Venice Beach sidewalk, it is a peaceful and pleasant place to relax or have a meal with regular visits from humming birds and the occasional squirrel. Cathy provides beach towels and even portable chairs to enjoy the amazing beach. There is space for a car just outside the garden (invaluable in Venice), but we chose to use public transport - either buses from nearby Main Street or the Expo train from Santa Monica. Cathy and Davoud are a lovely couple and were always available to help us with local information. If we return to Venice Beach we would choose Cathy’s apartment again without hesitation. Thanks again to you both!

comfortable, safe, clean, friendly, private....it was perfect. Close to beach and boardwalk.

Our studio was perfect. It was clean, private and very comfortable. I always felt very safe both inside the gated yard and in the neighborhood. Loved how close it was to the beach and boardwalk, as well as the many shops and restaurants in the area. Walking around was easy and it was never a problem to get a lyft or uber when needed. Our hosts were available, but not too available! They gave us plenty of privacy but were very nice and easy to get ahold of when needed. Will definitely consider renting again if we return to LA area.

The studio was perfect for my daughter and I. Just a few minutes walk from the beach.

Loved this place! Perfect for 2 or 3 people. Very neat and clean. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed having coffee in the courtyard with the hummingbirds every morning. So close to everything yet very quiet and peaceful. Very safe with well lite private parking space. The only issues for me were the very firm bed as I have a bad back and the bed was just too firm and the bathroom mirror was very small. But those are personal opinions. Overall great experience and would stay here again. Thanks to the owner, Cathy, for sharing her property with us. Very nice having the owner on site.

I am an attorney, writer, musician and long time Venice resident. I grew up in LA and have lived and traveled in many parts of California, as well as Latin America and Europe. I have stayed in several VRBO apartments in Europe and the US, so I know how important it is to have a quality, comfortable and useful place to enjoy a vacation. I have done my best to furnish and set up my lovely studio with the quality of amenities I would want in a vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

This area of Venice was built between 1900 and 1920, with walk streets and canals right next to the huge and beautiful Venice beach. My house was built in 1904, and most of the houses on the block were built around the same time. The walkway therefore has a timeless quality to it: no cars, old fashioned street lamps, and vintage houses with picket fences, porches and wood framed windows- a little vintage pocket of LA.

What makes this property unique

This apartment is a short walk to one of the best beaches in LA, and away from the busy streets. The apartment faces on to the garden area that is enclosed and private. Just a short walk away are the fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants of Abbot Kinney Blvd and Main Street Santa Monica. There are yoga studios nearby, as well as gyms, bike rentals and of course, the ocean.
