Charming cottage with pond in Heart of New River Gorge

Holly’s Pond House is a charming 3 bedroom cottage very close to New River Gorge and Adventures on the Gorge. This is a delightful cottage that is tucked away with its own fishing pond, but very close to everything the area has to offer. It is spacious and cozy, and the perfect place for travelers to explore, rest and relax.
Relax with your morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the pond, or enjoy the expansive deck with grill and hot tub after a day of adventures. At night roast marshmallows and tell stories around the campfire. Be sure and bring your fishing gear should you like to fish in your own pond (stocked frequently but whipped out by predators quickly so fish are typically small).
3 bedrooms with 2 baths. 2 queen, 1 king bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. King room has attached full bath, the second bath is off the living area. All amenities including, full kitchen with new appliances, including double oven, dishwasher and disposal, central heat and air, washer and dryer, Netflix, Hulu, and WiFi. All bedrooms have their own televisions.
There is a ramp off the back deck and a walk-in shower for those with mobility issues.
Location is the best: 2 min drive to Adventurs on the Gorge, 5 minute drive the New River Gorge Bridge, and 6 minute drive to downtown Fayetteville.

Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, everything was clean. Beautiful sunrise view on the front porch overlooking the pond in the morning. Although we didn’t use it, there was lots of room in the front yard and backyard and a very nice fire pit with chairs. We saw plenty of deer every day morning and evening. Close to everything we wanted to do like the Bridgewalk, Fayette Station Road, Babcock State Park and the visitor center. We are already making plans to go back.

Host was easy to work with and responsive. House was very clean and had the log cabin feel. Beds comfy, plenty of sheets and blankets.. We enjoyed the use of the grill and fire pit. Morning coffee on the porch was a plus. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Quiet area.

The house is very cute and perfect location!! My daughter in law loved there was a fire pit and supplies for s’mores! We wish we had booked a longer stay. Very well stocked kitchen. Lots of bath towels. We would stay again!

The property was exactly as advertised. I loved all the little details that were available such as newer appliances, utensils, condiments, blankets, games, etc. that meant I did not have to pack as much. I would book this place again. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Victor! The location was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful and secluded, situated on a country road with beautiful mountains and woodlands surrounding the property. At the same time, we were only a few minutes from easy access to Routes 19 and 60, making it convenient to explore the area.The house was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our host also checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we appreciated. Even with the remote location, the internet service was excellent—not something you can always count on in more secluded areas!The large rear deck was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and the hot tub was an especially nice feature after a long day of adventures and exploring.We had a wonderful trip to West Virginia. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, the parks were well maintained, and we found plenty of great food options throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return!

Perfect home away from home.

This property suited our needs perfectly. We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the NRG area. We had our dog with us and the yard was great to let him run and explore. Would stay here again if in the area.

Off the beaten path

Nice place, but needs a deep deep cleaning. Surface level cleanliness is ok, but the more you look the worse it gets. Plenty of clean towels and sheets though. Patio furniture outside is in need of complete replacement and an eye sore with its condition - so there was really no possibility to sit outside on the deck, only way out in the yard. Parking is tight for two vehicles and no where else to park. Strangers come by and fish in the pond which is a little awkward. It is a very quiet and peaceful location.

Mountain Retreat

Cozy, clean, well maintained cabin. Super convenient to New River Gorge activities and Fayetteville. The hot tub and deck were great for relaxing after a day's adventure. Would definately stay again.
