Swan Valley Heights sits up on the Scarp with unlimited views over the entire city of Perth. There are plenty of kangaroos to watch all day long as well as sheep grazing the property. Watch magnificent sunsets or observe storms as they slowly make their way across the beautiful city of Perth or just sit on the front verandah and watch the planes as they come and go in the distance. We are situated on ten peaceful acres with a winter creek running through the block, walkways run from here up through the bush land with wildflowers abundant in season. The owner, under the direction of George Lulfitz, West Australian Guru of native plants, is developing the extensive garden surrounding the accommodation making use of our beautiful West Australian native plants. The home is furnished with pictures and other items that clearly reflect the owners New Zealand and Australian heritage and his love of this great country especially all things of nature and the outback.

Perfect spot for two families with young toddlers. The house and property felt safe and secure. Gorgeous views over the valley, and some great family-friendly breweries / wineries near by. Host was very friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful large family home but we were barely inside as the outdoor area was just so gorgeous with the city views and the pool. Thanks Paul, we all absolutely loved our stay

Peaceful and quiet surroundings with a superb view of Perth city. Everything described is accurate and Paul is a friendly host.
The first bedroom room opposite the laundry area - The sliding glass door panel was not cleaned so the beautiful views of the land could not be appreciated fully. Otherwise, the property is a very lovely place. The host has even provided us with the fresh eggs for our breakfast. The location is very close to Bell's Rapids which our group visited.
This property is a great size with plenty of open space. 2 Queen bedrooms with large wardrobes. 3rd bedroom has 4 single beds.Large pool area and great views out to the city and surrounds. Great large verandah area to just relax and watch the amazing WA sunsets. Host was great.Other guests on first night of our stay were very noisy until after midnight. House was tidy but could do with a deep clean to bring it back up to scratch. Fresh eggs from the resident chicken coup and a great veggie and fruit garden. Thanks Paul and Bob for sharing your produce.
it was one of the most magical places i have stayed in all my travels around the world.property is outstanding, owner is fantastic, the view at night is something i will never forget.highly recommened.
Had a wonderful time at the property. From the moment we drove up the driveway and admired the beautiful view and tranquility. Thé property had a huge verandah with a fabulous view and felt very relaxing! We were greeted by the very friendly chickens also! The host was very personable and his staff also. Definitely recommend a getaway there. With a group or just a few… it was fabulous.

Great location
The property was in a great location. But was very disappointed at the property not very clean. Lots of cobwebs bathrooms and toilets were not clean. Kitchen pots and pans we could not use as stuck on previous food still on them, the oven was filthy. Cupboards all needed wiping down and cleaning inside.
Lovely location, quiet, spacious, fantastic views of the city and Baskerville area. Close to wineries and restaurants. Highly recommend this accommodation.
Paul the owner and his daughter were very helpful.
Two families holidayed together. Plenty of room for all.
Spacious rooms and fully functional kitchen with quality appliances.
Heaps of fruit trees and Paul is happy for you to pick and share.
Would definitely stay again.
Perfect house for our daughters wedding nearby, couldn't be happier, lots of room for wedding preparations, beautiful location for a relaxed stay. Great host. Thankyou!!!
This is our second time staying at this property and as usual we loved it. Walking distance to a microbrewery, winery and tavern, chickens and egg collecting each day for the kids, a pool (although was a bit cool for a proper swim this time), fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds - can't fault it. Thanks again Paul!
A truly delightful property matched by a truly delightful host,Paul. The views were fantastic and photos did not do them justice. The only downside is that I wish that Perth was closer to Newcastle and we could avoid an 19 hour flight. Thankyou Paul for giving us a wonderful 10 days
