Beautiful home with amazing views

We stayed here with friends and our 2 year old and had a wonderful time. The home was spotless and prepared for our stay, with lovely little touches throughout the house. The sunroom was nice to have coffee in the morning and the house was close to anywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend.

Incredible location, comfortable home

The view of Monterey Bay and the nearby hills covered in Monterey pine was even better than the photos could capture. The location was quiet and dark at night. The house was nicely decorated with artwork throughout and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed. We were happy to find the place stocked with firewood. We would have liked more water pressure in the shower. Overall a fantastic vacation rental. We would love to return someday.

Carmel Mini Vacation

This house location reminds me of the cabin I had in North Lake Tahoe. It's a wooded forest area, very quiet location but with a view of the Bay in the far-off distance. The inside of the house is just beautifully laid out with a very nice kitchen and all the necessities needed throughout. I would definitely enjoy returning here again for a relaxing getaway.

Great location and amenities

The property was clean, well-stocked, and a great jumping off place for our day trips to Big Sur and surrounding areas. The view was spectacular and the neighborhood was very quiet. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Craig was a great host and communication was flawless. Thank you!!

Beautiful house and location

Gorgeous views, great location (close to Monterey and Carmel), very attentive host. House was well appointed and very comfortable for a couple. Only slight downside is that there is no bathroom on the main level, but if you aren't traveling with anyone who can't do stairs easily, it's not a big deal.

Absolutely Stunning!

The home was pristine and the views were amazing! Our family flew in to see our soldier, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Everyone was comfortable and we felt at home. Our soldier slept on the pull out sofa and he said it was one of the best night’s sleep he’s had in a long time. The weather was gorgeous and the home was the right temperature. We hope it’s available in January when we come back for graduation.

The house is a very comfortable place from which to enjoy Carmel. Craig provided so many nice touches to make us feel at home - wine in the fridge, logs for the fireplaces, etc. We would love to stay here again.

Exceeds Expectations

The views are amazing! This is a quiet and private property that has great views from floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen is fantastically outfitted—Keurig machine and coffee, foamer, coffee press, rice cooker (yes), martini shaker (YUP), lots of pots and pans, outdoor BBQ, the full bath has a wonderful heated floor! It’s private but close enough to grocery stores, golf courses , downtown. Wonderful property—highly recommend and would definitely rebook!!

Lovely house

Very clean, well appointed, beautiful artwork, with amazing panoramic distance view of Monterey bay. Centrally located to Monterey, Carmel, and Pacific Grove (10min to each). If you want a quiet, private getaway in this area, this is the place!

House condition/issues

The drawback to the property is twofold: - Stale, musty smell inside. Lack of ventilation before arriving. - Older home with other people staying a few feet from home. Not as advertised.

An enclave on Carmel

This location is a quiet gem in already quiet Carmel. It has great views, the home is fully stocked, clean, and the host was communicative. A perfect few days for a retreat with friends.

Teen trip to Monterey

We took a quick little trip to Monterey with our child and 3 of their friends. All 14 years old. They loved this house! They loved everything about it. Granted, we all had to share the one shower but it was not a big deal. There is an additional half bath that the kids mostly used. The house was super clean and so very well laid out that my husband and I felt at times that we were on a little getaway just for ourselves. Great place. Will be staying here every time we are in the area.

Lovely Getaway Home

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this home. It is very clean, well stocked and great location. Initially, we were worried about running into the tenants in the detached guest house out front, but those worries were unfounded. This has been one of our best VRBO stays. Craig was very responsive and gave good suggestions for beaches close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again soon. Thank you Craig!

Fantastic house with interesting art and great views

This house is beautifully styled and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It could be do with some updating to the external areas but overall it is an exceptional property to stay in with close proximity to downtown Carmel.

Beautiful Hideaway close to everything

The views looking out in the distance to Monterey and the Bay are lovely. The house is tastefully and artistically decorated. Everything is thoughtfully organized, with exactly what you might need in the kitchen and throughout the house. Our bed was very comfortable, with quality linens and towels. We used the barbecue outdoors for dinner out on the deck. It was very relaxing. as were the day beds looking out at the views from inside the house. Craig was great, and very responsive. All in all, a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely come back!

Perfect little get-away.

Lovely home, great amenities. We were surprised that there would be someone staying in the other house on the property. It might be nice to have window coverings at the kitchen sink in the main house for some privacy if needed, but otherwise a wonderful rental. Would definitely stay there again... Amazing experience all around

The house was in a beautiful, quiet location up on the hill with incredible views! Exactly what we were looking for. The house was clean and well stocked, and we made many great meals on the kitchen. Craig made check in and check out super easy and fuss free. Absolutely plan to stay here again!!
