It has all the conveniences of home (TV/WiFI/Internet, W/D, microwave, full kitchen) with all the Cape Cod extras: outdoor shower, sunny deck, flower boxes, one or two blocks from ice cream, restaurants, and miniature golf. Awaken to an Audubon paradise and stroll through old Cape Cod neighborhoods to your choice of 7 Dennis beaches. We are sorry we are not able to provide linens and towels without a price increase, so instead, we will be glad to connect you with a local linen/towel provider or you are welcome to bring your own linens/towels with you. Also, the formatting in the detailed property description for the number of bathrooms may be ambiguous. To clarify, we have 1 full hallway bath with a shower, bathtub, toilet, sink, and vanity; one half-bath connected to the master bedroom (sink, vanity, toilet); and an outdoor shower.

Wonderful and cozy vacation cottage!!

Wonderful cottage

It has been many years since we visited the Cape & my mom wanted to visit again. We spent time with childhood friends and visited the many shops. The cottage was perfect, it had everything we needed and then some, the location was great. Would absolutely stay again.

Awesome Rental.

Great Vacation

This was the third year we rented this cottage. We love the location - so close to beaches and great restaurants. The house is immaculate and the kitchen is well stocked. We noticed the improvements -new comfy patio furniture and the new bench in outdoor shower. We are coming back next year.

Ralph worked on Capitol Hill for many years and Lee was a health care lawyer and, in retirement, is now a writer of murder mysteries. (Our guests are free to pick one up from the cottage!). We retired to the Cape and built a home in South Chatham, but when our ten grandchildren started coming on board in the Washington, DC area, we sold our Cape house, bought a small horse farm in WV and moved back to be with them. We missed the Cape so much, however, we bought the Dennis Port cottage in 2019 and love our new, part-time community.

Why they chose this property

The property is walking distance to a number of public beaches, near fun summertime activities like mini-golf, ice cream, boating, biking ,etc, backs up to conservation land, is quiet, clean and airy, with nice neighbors. The cottage provides an Old Cape Cod experience, but with modern conveniences.

What makes this property unique

The property backs up to conservation property containing, in addition to thick woods, two small ponds that were long ago used to produce ice. The woods provide cool shade and mystery!
